Hybrid, do you have the Inception credits?Hybrid? Any chance you could upload some unreleased tracks from this to your channel? Or just that suite, that you did but was removed :/Welp, necro thread i guess.Back then people still used CDs from time to time and a CD can only fit a little more than an hour worth of MP3s on it.Music was good, film was better. Nay, good. nothing, better than Hans

Hans, for you. <3

Sincerely,
Ricardo
Sometimes, I wish the world was, one with iself. This, music and harmony set into one man's vision. Hans, you inspire us. You, alone.

Sincerely,
RicardoIt's not officially available but a clear version can be found on the bleeding fingers website under Andrew Christie. Can someone ask Powell or Zimmer to put up some demos or suites from this score for study. It's such a great score and a real demonstration that a team effort can produce real quality.@Hybrid Soldier
Did HZ just do the first season of wormhole and then his stuff gets reused/rearranged by Jacob Shea or did he consistently write throughout several seasons? Thanks for the great insight as always Hybrid!
Any idea when can we expect a track list of Tom's score ?It depens on person, you don't like it but this ost got millions of likes. You are only free to express your opinion.Mmmh yeah let's say he acted like a music producer until Rupert was in, even as early as 2016 (right after BVS) he met with Patty Jenkins, he was never gonna do it because he was on tour anyway but he had the ideas as to who could/should score it. He had many ideas, submitted names etc.

Rupert got the gig in the end. Rupert I think could actually have come back to WW84, WW was a tough project but there was no problem (hell, he nailed it with Aquaman too, which was much easier cause there was no "legacy" to follow), but it really is Hans who showed interest to actually do it. Hans got really attached to Wonder Woman, playing the theme in his 2017 Live Tour. I think he wanted more than be the "WW Theme Writer", he wanted to have a full WW score.@Hybrid to what extent was HZ involved on the first Wonder Woman?
He said in an interview for WW84 that he was reluctant to accept because he had « fought hard to get Rupert the gig »
Is it a case of the producers/director wanted him and he said « I can’t do it but Ruper can »? And was the first one a mess, hence the fact that RGW isn’t scoring the sequel? It’s encouraging to know that Tom was proud of this score, as excited as I am to hear his reuse of themes I am just as excited to see what new ideas he came up with for the project.
Someone who supposedly heard a bit of the music on here (I think they worked as his assistant) said it sounded a bit like Fury Road and Deadpool mixed, but who knows.

If the score hasn’t been recorded yet my personal wish is for Conrad Pope to be involved somehow lol
Hey, so...a new expanded album for KFP2 seems to have leaked last January, and I haven't seen it listed on this site yet. I bring it up because it finally honest-to-God included a cue from the Zen Ball sequence I've been waiting to hear isolated for years, since BOTH the other albums just completely omitted it. And I dunno, I guess I feel like it deserves some acknowledgement. It would be cool if Junkie has the chance to use Rubert's Aquaman theme as well now that we have it. It would make the score feel even more complete!Only things I can say about the whole Hans / Superheroes / Justice League thing from a few years ago, or why Hans didn't want to return for JL, is simply because he didn't like doing Batman again. Just too weird, being committed to the TDK trilogy for so many years and have to redo it.

But the good part for him in BVS was that without it, no Wonder Woman, and he's glad to be expanding that since he was so close to production of the first score and did WW84.

But it's not like there was a problem with Snyder or Superheroes in general, more like just "Please, I'm done with Batman" ! :D

As for Tom's score for Justice League, Hans had not heard it, but he knew Tom was proud of it. So yeah, I'm glad we'll finally see that happening. Hans wrote enough material for Superman, Batman, WW and other themes in these movies, I'm sure Tom could have a lot of fun using all that and add his own touch. I honestly don't know if it was really finished or not, recorded, even partially (BVS was recorded in august/september 2015, 6 months before the film was released, and the score was reworked until the very end for the Ultimate Edition). Wait & see !So the game is best-selling. So is Justin Bieber. Since when does that mean anything about quality?Österreich freut sich auf Sie und Ihre neuen Meisterwerke.

Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Hans Zimmer.
No more words needed.

Hello RCP team, now in english.

I have a question which I can find on the Internet now no conclusive answer. As it now looks really, if I want to use the amazing music from you in a Machinima (video game)? Can I? It should be posted on the YouTube platform then. Where would I updating of course, that this music comes from Hans rooms. Question now, I allowed to do that ... through some forums and have not come to the answer which really is acute! :) Thank schonmal, and the BEST OF album - Prague Philharmonic is really beautiful! :)

Kind regards, Dennis!

Hallo RCP Team,

Lieben Gruß, Dennis!

I'm searching for a special track from the movie "Backdraft", that doesn't seem to be on the Soundtrack CD. Can anybody here name me anyoe who could help me with that?
Thanks.

Mycroft2012-01-07 18:04:04
Well, if it's not on the OST and there are no expanded versions of the score (are there? I've never even heard of this film), then likely the only people who can help you aren't going to. The elitist pigs have all the music us low-downs could ever dream of having but they are not allowed to share their music because of the way the world works.

Dennis2012-01-08 19:23:23
Yeah, it is not on the OST and I haven't found something like an expanded or extended version...what a pity. Searching for this track for years.

Dear Mr. Zimmer,
It is my dream to work on compositions for video games and films. I have been an accomplished musician for some time now, and I have played guitar since age six. I am now twenty-one years old, and I am pursuing a bachelors degree in video game production, and hopefully afterward, a bachelors in composition. I have so many questions before I make my final decision. I was just wondering if you could tell me how I can become a great composer if I am already memorizing my compositions, and playing them on guitar. Do you use any specific computer recording, enhancing, or mixing programs? If so, which ones? This has been my dream for such a long time, and I have been a huge fan of your mastermind compositions since "The Gladiator". Thank you for continuing to be a great inspiration!

Respectfully,

Hallo!

Me again2011-11-22 18:05:12
Whoopsy... sorry, this is an international page and it deserves an english comment!
So i just wanted to say that i made a Rock Version of Hans Zimmers "Dream is Collapsing". I know that the dream that Hans Zimmer himself could hear it will not come true, but still i think that there are a few people here that could be interested.
So if you want, just write "Steffen Schöps Hans Zimmer" in the Youtube Search bar. That`s it, so easy!
Thanks a lot! :)

My two cents, take it or leave it...

I LOVE this site! It's a great resource and pretty much THE go-to place for information on Zimmer and co. People need to stop destroying the integrity of this site by posting unofficial and unchecked tracklists, and requesting EVERY SINGLE SCORE in existence just because they found the track titles on ASCAP. I know Hybrid works very hard to get this information, and we should be happy with what we've got.

If you want bootlegs, do a little detective work and figure it out yourselves. Count on Hybrid to post what's real; the man does his homework.

You know, "Anynonymous", if I get the order, just a few clicks and the "secondary market" stuff listed on all this site is gone forever ! ;)

Your call, Antas & Nico ! ;)

Anonymous2011-10-29 01:01:19
well do it Hybrid do it, you have the power, don't you, what kind of arrogance. What maintain this site as number one for over the years was definitely the information of many of the unreleased scores. But, like you say, just a few clicks and the secondary market in gone forever, it's your page.

Mr. Fate2011-10-29 02:04:28
You present a valid point Anonymous. Sure, some of the discussions of recent have gotten out of hand and are a mess, but there are many useful pieces of information around this site. I'd think it would be sad to lose all that information, especially since this place is about the only place you can find it.

It may be a drastic analogy (just because I couldn't think of anything on a smaller scale) but it'd almost be like the burning of the Library of Alexandria. So much information was stored there, and then it got burned down losing countless priceless documents for all eternity. What great writings could have been there that we never even knew existed? If you choose to delete whatever you want to, you could be destroying information that could have been of value for many years to come.

Perhaps, I don't entirely understand what all Hybrid was thinking about deleting, but I'd just like you to consider these sort of things before making a regrettable decision.

cheesy2011-10-29 02:41:08
Don't you think bootleg discussion would continue either way? I mean, let's be real here, most of the crap discussions about fake complete scores actually take place on the topic boards for official albums (like recent Inception, Sherlock Holmes, ect). Deleting the secondary market pages wouldn't stop these discussions. In all honesty, it would probably just make the problem even worse, due to the scramble and lack of information. I think if we could just revert back to merely a few months or so ago, when the bootleg discussion was minimal yet consolidated and helpful, then we would see the balance.

I don't know if Hybrid was just making a veiled threat there, but going through with the decision in question just seems like it would be counterproductive, unnecessary, and, above all, regrettable. I second everything the others said, and affirm the usefulness of the information you're threatening to delete. Anon has a point; the secondary market pages are what make this site so unique.

I just bought the album Kettle Whistle by Jane's Addiction and to my surprise I saw Harry Gregson-Williams produced a couple of tracks on it. Some of these tracks were also mixed/recorded at Zimmer's old studio, Media Ventures. As a fan of both Jane's and HG-W, I was pretty excited about this. Anybody here know more about this unusual collaboration?

I really like the music Hans Zimmer and the people he works with create and I became curious about his work and his career. So I visited some websites and found the following information on imdb.com :

"He told in an interview that he would retire for some years after The Dark Knight, saying he has been exhausted in the past years. He also said that he wants to help young composers and would produce their scores..."

That impressed me and earned my appreciation. But then I checked whether it's a valid information or not because I thought it would mean that he wants to try to help and support young composers, that he would try to encourage and promote young talents. Anyways I must have got that wrong because when I came to this site one of the first things I read was " Hans Zimmer and other composers from Remote Control do not accept demos or unsolicited audio/video material. Please, don't ask us how to contact them either. " But then if I didn't get it wrong, and I must say I hope so, how will he be able to discover talents? If there was somebody who is really a great composer/musician, how could he get to know it when it says that he doesn't want to be contacted? I'm just curious about that and I hope I can get some answers, thank you (:

Alex2011-10-09 07:49:03
You said you were curious - here are the answers

1. Start composing ; get a degree ; compose for anything you can get paid for.

2. Get representation - Zimmer/Rifkin Remote Control Productions can't solicit material from you or Joe Compose without an (accredited) agent or manager.

3. In terms of contacting - these (awesome) dudes can't because they run a FAN SITE.

4. Networking - everyone knows someone. And some people might know a guy who's an RCP dude. Being nice and a book of faces are your film friends are key here.

5. GET OUT THERE AND DO IT. Because procrastination gets you nowhere.

Now ...go.

^ This all applies to Lorne Balfe's early career.
