Thank you. And i suppose "Need You Busting My Balls - End Credits" title would correspond to ASCAP "Need You Busting My Balls" + "RUSH END CREDITS", while "Just Married" to "RUSH MAIN ON END"?That’s literally the best part of the score though. But it’s typical Richter (Miss Sloane, Black Mirror: Nosedive).Hunt Drunken Weirdness is barely a cue actually, it's just a patch up of sound designs by Mel...<br><br>Italian Party is a name I made up for a cue that's not used in the movie ! :)In ASCAP there is a cue "HUNT DRUNKEN WEIRDNESS" - is this by a chance an alias to "Italian Party", which is absent in ASCAP. If to talk music only, I heard Max mostly, but... nothing really different from his previous works. I heard the same motif as used in Hostiles and Morgan and probably elsewhere again and again... Nonetheless, enjoyed the movie itself immensely. From Deuscthe Grammophon.<br><br>BTW, i expect the Max Ritcher soundtrack
@MrZimmerFan Ok, thank you for the update about the full soundtrack next monthfrom Max or Lorne?Expected the full soundtrack next month<br><br>btw...<br>deutsche grammophon release tomorrow a track called "to the stars" from max richteroh man, oh man...<br>let's see what happend tomorrow
@Anonymous: technically it's already Friday in some countries, and there's no sign of any album on the iTunes of these countries. And if that were the case, filmmusicreporter would have announced it already, anyway.@DS Possible, but you are right, it could be film release, but why he put hashtags by #soundtrack? I have to wait till filmusicreporter announced for Ad Astra, but if not happen by the soundtrack tomorrow, then, I have to wait till the confirm from the news.@Anonymous: Are you sure Lorne mentionned the soundtrack release, or just the film release? His posts I've seen just say "Ad Astra is released on the 20th"... Pretty sure he means the film.<br><br>@Ahmad: Totally agree with what you wrote. It's an overall dull score, with some nice ideas that go nowhere. A few bits are obviously Lorne (like the opening cue, beautiful but how original is it to use an organ for a space scene?). And a few bits are obviously Richter, who is really on autopilot here (Hostiles - Mary Queen Of Scots - Werk Ohne Autor are nice scores, but all constructed in the exact same way). And the majority of it is quite anonymous, just ambient sounds far in the background. Also it seems like what they did with the score, they did it with the screenplay as well, because that's a freaking mess that doesn't seem to know which kind of movie it wants to be, and ends up being quite flat on all sides. Quite disappointing. Awesome visuals, though, but it's already been seen in the likes of Sunshine, Gravity, Interstellar, The Martian... all vastly superior pieces of cinema.<br><br>Anybody haven't you seen two new tweets update recently by Lorne Balfe from his twitter it said Ad Astra soundtrack will released tomorrow. So Zimmer being listed as the main theme composer at the top of the page is inaccurate too? It definitely sounds more like Lorne than Hans.

Hey i just wanted to say that i have been a huge fan of Hans ever since i was a kid.

I saw Rain man....then many years later heard the soundtrack from the Lion King. I noticed a trend of some really great stuff. I have kept up with a lot of the movies Hans has done.

The Davinci Code soundtrack is fenominal.....must say....little known. My favorite is the "Spirit: Stallion of the Chimiron" Soundtrack....."Run Free kicks ass.

keep rockin Hans.

fun site, but too much confused. The menu is not so clear when I search "Hans Zimmer" I prefer to find Zimmer music first, not Zimmer productions and more.

Hans Zimmer, you inspire at every turn. What an age to be alive such as to be in the same time period as such truly inspired man.

I just wanted to pass along how much I enjoy Hans' music, as well as the website. It's a wealth of information for his fans, and it's also nice that there are profiles on some of the key musicians who Hans collaborates with as well.

One artist in particular, guitar virtuoso PETE HAYCOCK, has always been a favorite player of mine, and I applaud Mr. Zimmer for his great taste and judgment in choosing Mr. Haycock to add his considerable guitar talents to the several soundtracks they've worked on together. It was also great to hear many of these artists perform LIVE with Hans for the "Wings of a Film" concert; a lovely sampling of his great soundtrack work.

I was fortunate and blessed to have Pete Haycock provide all of the music for a documentary featurette I made recently about the Hollister Independence Rally, an annual motorcycle rally that has attracted more than 120,000 people to this small central California town for a 3-day celebration of "The Birthplace of the American Biker". The DVD is entitled "HOLLISTER 2005 -- THE OFFICIAL RALLY DVD", and Pete's music really raised the bar for the visuals to aspire to match. The DVD helps raise donations for a local Hollister-based shelter for abused women and children, and we were indeed grateful to Pete for his kind involvement.

Equally cool was the fact that this DVD project inspired Pete to go back to the studio and extend some tracks -- and add some others -- which resulted in his amazing recently-released 13-track CD entitled "BIKERS' DOZEN"!

For those of you who have enjoyed Hans' scores for "Drop Zone", "K-2", and "Thelma & Louise", among others, you'll likely recognize the sounds of Pete Haycock's magic fingers working the fretboards on several tracks. If you like that (and who doesn't?), then you should check out "BIKERS' DOZEN" -- it's a dynamic collection of some of the best guitar-driven compositions out there, and a must for any fan!

For more information about the Hollister Rally DVD, you can go to the Pelicam website at:
http://www.PelicamProductions.com

And, for more information or to order Pete's "BIKERS' DOZEN" CD, you can go to his official website at:
http://www.PeteHaycock.com

Thanks again, Hans, for all of the amazing soundtracks you've produced -- and that we've enjoyed -- over the years! Keep up the stellar work!

Best regards,

-- Jeff Byler

People don't waste your time on buying the Da Vinci Soundtrack. It is terrible. One of Hans worst. Very boring and had no theme to it. The only good song was #14 which wasn't by Hans. I will wait for the pirates soundtrack to come out before i give up hope on Hans.

Is e-mail for new information out of use ?
I could not find it in your site. So, I wrote here.

I found interviews.

Mark Mancina interview ( Japanese )
http://anime.excite.co.jp/blood/iv/iv_mark.html

He came to Japan for promotion ( Blood+ soundtrack ).
This soundtrack have a good reputation in Japan.
CD shops often pick up this CD by composer's name ( Hans Zimmer and Mark Mancina ).
It is rare in Japan.
I wish many Japanese know RC's music by this CD.
Regrettably many Japanese people don't care almost about soundtracks.
They don't even know composer's name.

Klaus Badelt interview ( By M-AUDIO.com )

Thank you.
Keep up the good work.

People, you will not believe what horrific foundings came to me. I heard this song by Gustav Holst called Mars. A part of it sounds exactly like the battle theme in gladiator. Say it isn't so Hans. I had so much respect for you. Somebody please listen and tell me im wrong cuz i really liked Hans. Here is the link, listen to it all and you will be shocked!

Truly loved the score, we purchased the DVD & "standard" OST CD! (it unfortunately leaves out alot of the songs & incidental music we really wanted to hear from several artists - Badly Drawn Boy, Maroon 5, Charles Trenet, you, etc - why was that?) Any plans for a "complete" expanded release of the OST?

Would love to get our hands on the expanded version, if at all possible. Please email responses to: ursammg@optonline.net.

Keep up the great work!!!

I am a twelve year old pianist and guitar player. I write music a lot, I have never heard music that has moved me as much as Hans Zimmers' "The Well". This music is beautiful and makes the movie so much better than it already is
