Listen all the score and make the list yourself with the best moments for you, guy! Lolcan anybody recommend the absolute best themes on this score to me please! No he is not. It's just the musical palette created for all the futuristic scifi films that are inspired by what Vangelis did in 1982.Balfe is doing a Reddit interview in 2 hours time . Hopefully we can get to the bottom of Why he replaced Pinar and Clint Mansell on Ghost in The ShellI totally agree with you. I was let down when I first heard the album. It's great but it's a selection of the score. I feel like they could've done a better job crafting the album. <br>Hell, something experimental like releasing the music as it is as a long (digital) track would've been interesting. <br><br>I think what made it difficult for them is how the tempo changes all the time, which might have resulted in an unpleasant listening experience (I think that might have been their point of view). For example, in the movie, the tempo of the cue "Home" changes a lot and some layers are taken out while the album version has a constant tempo.<br><br>Unfortunately, the number of people who noticed how unsatisfying this release is, is quite small, so there won't be anything official. Once again, we have to wait for leaks or bootlegs.
also seems very like ghost in the shell. Did Balfe also help out on this score ?I can hear it<br>'Her Eyes were Green' gave me a heavy Arrival-vibe for example<br>Am I the Only one that feels Johánn Johánnsson touch everywere along this score?<br>Truly is the Vangelis reminiscense in each song, but the style is more near to Johánnsson than Wallfisch and of course Zimmer.<br>Could be Denis Villeneuve's suggestion, or maybe Benjamin has study Villeneuve last works, but is unquestionable that 2049 score sounds very Johánnsson.<br><br>Many people these days talking bad about 2049 score (No melodies, No Vangelis, All ambiance...), but the reality is that this work has perfect match with the rest of the film.<br><br>2049 is different to the original Blade Runner. Yes it has the same world and feeling, but is another director's vision, and the music follows (perfectly) the same way.OK, there seems to be a regular edition at amazon and other retailers with the same content (2 CD) for a cheaper price than the limited one. It's nonsense. Will the record label pay me back a couple of bucks? I don't think it is ethical business at all.Saw the film last night and the music score was really good . Big and epic . It is how more scores should
You're right, matthew, but i'd said everyone here is used to this kind of album release with HZ/RCP, like The Thin Red Line or Inception with a lot of suites and not so much of the actual movie score. Personally i don't mind because I know the full score will be release some day and I really enjoy suites. However, I'm afraid there is nothing else to do that wait.<br><br>ps : i think Hans or RCP has no right to publish a full score (even they own), it's up to the studio--If they decide to release a proper FYC hopefully that will contain the film order/versions/unreleased/etc. <br><br>But I do agree, this is one of those scores that is tremendously improved by the film flow. Honestly I never understood the thinking behind putting out an album if you aren’t going to use the full 79 minutes it allows. Especially when you are missing cues which are vastly different from what’s presented. Why “Escape From Ship” or “No Time For Caution” weren’t there to begin with confuses me.Love Ocean Bloom. Hybrid, no release date yet for the album? The first episode is coming out in a week.as a giant fucking fan of this movie, I can't put it into words just how lazy is this presentation of the actual music. <br><br>it annoys the shit out of me when I read comments on youtube, Itunes, Amazon and also here, like whats the opening music? and the stupid answer is from everybody: "oh yeah, you're looking for The Mole, thats the opening scene!" well, fuck, the movie opens with The Mole, but it goes on for only 2 minutes, and the rest 4 minutes is unused, and the actual 4 minutes after 2 minutes, from the opening is unreleased. it is a minor fact that seems 100% unnoticed by every person. because the music is non-stop in the film, I consider the opening from the logos, until we arrive to the beach.<br><br>Shivering Soldier is the first track that appears "as used in the film" form on the release.<br><br>Supermarine is a misleading action suite released before the premiere, because of marketing purposes, I think the studio was a bit scared, so they wanted to demonstrate that this is more of a summer blockbuster than a black and white war movie. <br><br>Home is the classic "different version in film" case, only to give Hybrid Soldier the chance to come here and give a defense speech about how Zimmer, Nolan, and every soul at warner bros, at water tower music, at remote control and every world-class star status earned professionals in hollywood couldn't make the "as used in film" presentation dream come true. the "no the time for caution" event is still comes hilariously amature from a creative business built on the words: "Make it happen" <br><br><br>include the bible and i agree
Balfe is with all this year. <br>Best tv score of the year: Genius<br>Best movie score of the year: Lego Batman<br>Best action score of the year: Geostorm<br>Best drama score of the year: Churchill<br>And best scifi score: Ghost in the shell<br>2017 has been a hell of a year for him<br>It really is an excellent soundtrack with cool action and big epic tunes .Thanks for reply. I asked Watertower Music and they said they did limited edition and that it may be sold out. I was looking if somebody got it from them or if it's just a mistake on their part. The Best Action Score of the Year??? Please hear more Score!Have had the album on constantly all weekend and it’s the best

Dear Hans Zimmer,
thank you and all of your musicians so much for the more than fantastic concert in Oberhausen yesterday! It made us having goosebumps all over and having an unforgettable night!

Lieber Hans Zimmer,
vielen Danke für dieses wunderschöne Konzert in Berlin. Ich bin so begeistert, ich kann es nicht so richtig in Worte fassen. Danke und hoffentlich auf ein Wiedersehen

I read what you recently had to say about how difficult it was to do the music for "Batman vs. Superman", and how you won't do any more 'superhero' scores.

While I haven't the vaguest conception of how difficult it must be to compose new music, I wanted to say that I was very impressed with your new theme for Wonder Woman, and if you were to do a full score based on that theme alone, I would gladly pay $20 for it.

Regardless, I have been a huge fan for years and will continue to look forward to anything new that you do.

Dear Mr. Zimmer,

I was in Hamburg yesterday to attend your concert.
I've been hoping this was going to get great, but I did not expect THAT!!
It just blew me away.
From the first second to the last note: Fantastic, mindblowing, magic - just perfect!
Also your words about Heath Leadger and Aurora - GREATNESS!
A huge Thank You to You and all the musicians for this unforgettable night
YOU HAVE TO RECORD A LIVE DVD... I promise I'd buy at least 10. One for me and 9 for the coming birthdays of friends...

Thank you and again thank you,
Matthias

Dear Mister Zimmer,

Last Thursday, I was at Palais 12 in Brussels for your Live Tour and I wanted to thank you and your team for this incredible, unforgettable performance. I have memories forever !

but beyond that, I would like to thank you so much for your heart-warming words on "Aurora" theme.

You showed that you are not only an wonderful music genius, but also a very, very beautiful human being and it makes me admire you even more for that.

Thank you for this heart-warming moment of grace,

Solene

Mr. Zimmer I'm really impressed by your musical compositions. Hopefully someday could compose a melody for the story of my book "El Precio de la Suerte" (The Price of Luck). Just my dream : )

Guess what, Hans...

I'm going to remake my song to suit... Gladiator!

The public will be the judge!

You know what is all about, huh? ;-)

Maia reply Replies: 1 || 2016-04-14 17:06:35
Hello Hans,

Pretty sure you won't really read this because you get so many messages, but I'll give it a try anyway! I'll be coming to your concert on the 24th of May in Rotterdam (in the Netherlands, my home country). And it would just mean the world to me if you'd perform ''Now We Are Free'' from Gladiator that night, because it's kind of my life's anthem, haha. I know you probably have a strict regime and order of songs you use in your concerts (and maybe this song is already in it), but I just wanted to give this a shot because it's the most beautiful song ever and I'd love to hear it live.

Thanks!

Hi Maia,

I went to his concert in Brussels yesterday, and you won't be dissapointed ;-)

Hans Zimmer,

YOU HAVE TO READ THIS. First of all your music and soundtracks for the large amounts of movies you cooperated with are masterpieces, especially in Batman V Superman. But this is a suggestion. AS AN HOMAGE TO THE DCAU, JUSTICE LEAGUE , JUSTICE LEAGUE UNLIMITED, CAN YOU PLEASE REMAKE VERSIONS OF THE THEME SONGS OF THE TWO SHOWS AND USE THE THE FIRST THEME FOR PART 1 AND USE THE UNLIMITED THEME FOR PART 2. This will bring out the glory of this legendary group of superheroes and the tv show which once was home to them. Seriously, please do this.

Reply or not, please do consider this!
Thanks!

Mr. Zimmer,
greetings from Portugal.

First of all and as you may imagine already, I am a huge fan.

I have a question which I think all of your fans that never have seen a live concert yours already made, but I would like to ask you, when / if there is some thought to come to my country or Spain in a short time.

For sure there are many fans as me asking the same all around our country.

Will apreciate your answer.
Thanks

Dear Zimmer,
First of all, I am an ordinary person. I've interested theater but not professinal. I love your music. If you can allow, I would like to use "Drink up me hearties" and "Mombasa" and "Good Authority" music for the street theater play. It's including genres satire and dramatic. It is free. Open for everyone
I wait your answer.
Sincerely

Mr.Zimmer, I love your music. Particularly the themes of Pirates of the Caribbean. My favorites are Blackbeard's theme and Jack Sparrow's theme. They give me goose bumps every time I hear them, and believe me... I don't easily get goose bumps. I tip my hat to you! You are a musical genius!
Greetings from Belgium!

Edmund Meinerts2016-02-02 22:59:04
Blackbeard's theme over Davy Jones or the love theme from At World's End?

Didier2016-03-22 16:06:45
@Edmund: Blackbeard's sounds more epic. Though Davy Jones' theme is wonderful as well.

Edmund Meinerts2016-03-22 22:22:32
No way! Blackbeard's theme is...okay, I guess, but it's just a typical descending POTC-ish motif. Davy Jones' theme is SO MUCH more versatile and three-dimensional as a villain idea - it can be tragic, angry, brooding and, yes, epic.

Byron Sleugh2016-04-10 04:42:25
I love Davy Jones' theme. I did an arrangement of it for trombone choir because I thought it was pretty awesome.

Their war here-
Thank you hans zimmer and junkie xl (Tom) for creating another incredible soundtrack.
The only thing missing is that the soundtrack version of
their war here is different to the move version, and doesn't have the man of steel elements with that dang dang daga da daga science fiction sound when the world machine is destroying metropolis and batman comes to the rescue.
That was my favorite part of the Man of steel soundtrack and its such a same it's included in the opening of the film, but that a different version is on the soundtrack.
But otherwise an amazing epic soundtrack.

Dear Mr. Zimmer,
as an ambitious amateur composer from Germany and real fan of your soundtracks I'm looking forward to your concert in Munich at April the 26th.
I just composed a short orchestral version from "Pink Fluffy Unicorns Dancing On Rainbows" and I wish I had an orchestra like yours. But for me a midi orchestration must be enough. Here my work:

I have a question, will the music of the Tv series "Through the Wormhole" ever be released in some shape or form(especially from season 2)?
That music is just perfect, it gives me goose bumps and brings tears to my eyes. Best music i've ever heard for sure!

When I would have a Taxi Hollywood with enjurance for return;
I would want to live in Lady Gagas Villa, drink red whine with Roland Emmerich while being livetime apprendist and free composer, desighner under the friendly sponsoring of Hanz Zimmer in his studios; while hawing even the possibility to free make what I want in creativ collaborations.
All that in the hope that Francis Ford Coppola would not let kill me bekause I may have dishonourated my italian family.
Midwhile I search a Job.
