Dave didn't work on it, but a few Blue Planet stuff were used so he gets some sort of credit in the cuesheet for "A Celebration".Who did Zimmer do this with? Shea and Fleming?May Mr. Zimmer and his team be interested on “extracting” music from the human body for medical purposes?<br>You can reach me at:<br>jcp77452 at um.es<br>ThanksNot only is the album fun as a concept album, it's a surprisingly good score to picture. The themes are really clear for each of the characters and the music really fits the action. Even though the action is kind of corny. Real underrated gem. <br><br>I finally watched the film and even though it's a sort of 5 or 6 out of 10 average/okay movie, it reminded me just how much personality gets injected when Hans Zimmer does the score. He really has a strong voice.Yeah this is a pretty fair assessment.<br><br>While I’ve found myself liking it less and less now that we’re hearing things like ME or Alita from Tom there are still some excellent tracks throughout. <br>(The Dark Tower, Collateral Damage, Guardian, It Will Fall, Roland of Eld)<br><br>My biggest gripe is with the purely sound design cues. They honestly go nowhere and end up padding the album out. What this score needed was a solid villain motif and some more orchestral underscore. It’s like one-half of the score is the more traditional side of Holkenborg whereas the rest falls into his early habit of just making noise.
I give it a listen after three years, and i still like it.<br><br>If isn't as good as Mortal Engines or Alita, have a interesting aspects to enjoy: his main theme for Roland, some of the action cues are strong, even the dramatic ones (The Creed or Collateral Damage), some of the sound design are interesting.<br><br>Maybe the weakest aspect of the album, is the middle, some tracks are not that interesting to listen.woooooow <3From the "No Time to Die" podcast description...<br><br>"You can also be the first to hear exclusive score from Hans Zimmer and brand new recordings from the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra from Bond 25 brought to you from Decca Records."<br><br>First of six episodes is released on Wednesday 30th September!!that would be great@GR7 that sounds really cool care to share?
Hi! What's the story with track "Into Space"? They really copy track "Planet Descent" and name it that "Into Space"?I agree guys. Yhis album and parts of the experiments are vey enjoyable. I tend to listen to OST prriodically, and each year there is one or severall scores that replace what I listen the most, and so on... but Dark phoenix is one I can listen every time. <br>I made personal suites assembling music from the OST and mixing it with expremients, and it results in a 50 min suites album, I really like it.Same for me. I'm so happy ! :DA Celebration? It's actually on youtube now.Got it. I assumed as much for the first 3. Thanks.
hahahaha ... crack, sorry. Well so far there is no news of anything. Only the video that one track and one with Dave, but it's a preview.<br>I'm not sure how to get news on this, I really would like to get it hahaha.Isabel Suite = Isabel the Strong<br>Thadeous Suite = Thadeous<br>The Quest Suite = Let Us Quest!<br><br>End credits is probably ripped from the film.> Fair enough, but I know for a fact that Steve was inspired by Harry Potter because of the complete score track "Tavern Fighting (Part 1)". The end of that track has a direct reference to The Chamber of Secrets theme from the second film.<br><br>Nice catch. Those are very similar.<br><br>Btw, I have some "expanded" version of the score, which seems to be identical to the complete score on this site, aside from the fact that it's missing the last 4 tracks. Do those have equivalents in the regular release?Yes, I was referring to A Celebration. "It's out there" as in "it can be obtained unofficially". Were you referring to the Sia track? That is on Bleeding Fingers' site.no, but you can find it on the bleeding fingers page.<br>it also doesn't look like planet eart: a celebration has a release :(

Dear Hans Zimmer Team:

Hello. I am a huge and serious fan of Hans Zimmer music. I am also a big fan of John Powell, the composer of scores of <The Bourne Supremacy>.

I am eager to get a "film version" of <Bim Bam Smash> the studio version of which I have. (You know, just like <Training Montage> from <Rocky 4> comes in a film version and a studio version.)

The film version of <Bim Bam Smash> is a little longer and more heart-pounding than the studio version. I could not find any tip on how to get that version after searching the whole Internet for days. I thought about extracting the score from the movie file (mp4), but the other background sound is too loud.

Any tip would be appreciated.

Why there are country restriction and we cannot play/buy some Hans Zimmer music in Apple Music & Spotify, like Pirates of Carribean OST, Angels and Demons OST, etc. I'm from Indonesia.

Dear Hans, I'm faszinated about the soundtrack from Interstellar. I'ld like to know if there is an interesting reason for using an organ as highlight in it. I think no one has used it before in a soundtrack.
Thank you for answering!
Best wishes from Maria

Maria,

This is a fan based website, so there's no way to ever get a reply from Hans Zimmer himself. But... You may find an answer to your question in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e40uAYm5cxE

Dear Mr. Zimmer

Currently I’m studying 3D animation. For my degree dissertation i have to do a small 3D animated
movie. your soundtrack from the gladiator „honor him & now we are free“ would be just perfect.
I hardly can immagine another soundtrack.

Therefore I allow myself to kindly ask you if it would be possible to use them and what
would be the cost of it. there would be no commercial use! only the presentation of the film
at the school (EB, Zürich, Switzerland) which is published on youtube as well as on my homepage.

Thank you for your kindly answer as soon as possible as my project has to be ready in
April 2017 and I should start to work on it by mid of November 2016.

Fabian Käser, Switzerland

Hey Hybrid,
Just FYI the new Titanfall 2 video game score is composed by Stephen Barton, former HGW assistant. Not sure if he is still associated with RC as I have not seen the score's in-depth credits but I thought it might want to be listed on his credits page here :)

Morgan Joylighter2016-10-30 13:40:58
Listening to Titanfall 2 it definitely sounds like he took a lot of experience from HGW's mid-late 2000s sound :)

Hallo, Herr Zimmer,

Monika Zimmer

Hans Zimmer, your "Inception" soundtrack is one of my favorite musical pieces of all time. So moving, so dramatic, so moving and so thrilling. Amazing piece of work. I listen to it again and again, it always inspires and lifts me up from reality to an upper realm. Thank you for your beautiful creations of pure art!

Hello Hans Zimmer Team,

Great soundtracks ever since !
Just an idea: what about composing for flutes,
especially flutes used in old music in a film, that
everyone expects to have a "modern" theme ?
Some great flute players of today are quite good doing improvisations. best whishes, Ricky

Is there any way to possibly release the chronological order to the Twister film score? Sadly, as it is in the CD is not the order that the tracks appear in the movie - and any help I can get with this would be monumentally appreciated!

Hello!

Could you please tell me if it's possible to use an excerpt (1 minute or 2) from the track "A Dark Knight", included in the soundtrack of the film "The Dark Knight", in a promotional clip, paying for the licensing rights, of course?

I hope this message doesn't offend you! I very much appreciate mr. Zimmer's work!

You are probably already aware, but do you know LL Bean has used the Interstellar score for commercial purposes?

It's close, but it's actually not the actual score. It's very very close to the same melody and movement though.

I wish there was a Hans Zimmer Complete Edition available that contains all(!) of his genius music. (Pretty much the same as the Bach Complete Edition with 142 CDs and a duration of nearly one week :) )

Background:
Even though I already bought more than 35 HZ CDs, I still have only a fraction. Most of the older discs (pre 2000) are extremely rare.

Just for the case that someone from RCP reads that message and wants to fulfill this DREAM: Please do also include all unpublished music in the complete edition (especially everything from "The thin red line") - Many thanks :-)

(I already see the HZ Complete Edition box with 500 CDs on my CD shelf) ;-)

I just wanted to say thank you for the fantastic 2013 Man of Steel sound track, I love the percussion, I love the subtle power, the unresolved movement forward of the music, I love the story telling the music does, it really made the movie for me!!!

Good luck with your future pursuits!
