I do really like benjamin wallfisch's new score for the invisible man, which is release today in cinema. I'm a fan of wallfisch's film score since lights out and including other film scores, but i begin to hear the score in spotify & youtube and i do like the score with the full orchestra & electronic music within the film music and there are two themes for the film but there are most motif, like mr.zimmerfan says. <br><br>I just hope that this page can released the soundtrack details of The Invisible man soon and this score is good. The Invisible Man, would be one of the most dark, hard-hearing scores by Wallfisch, by far, multiple people will hate this score -i know, is difficult listening horror scores-, but when is good, is good.<br><br>If you love Lights Out, the two ITs, speacially, A Cure for Wellness, The Invisible Man is for you: dark, unpleasing (the theme for Elisabeth Moss' character is a beautiful melodie, example in 'Denouement', constantly accosed -rightly word- with the sounds of the Invisible Man, he has not theme, more motif and tremendously agresive sound desing, you can here listen in 'Attack') and very Hermann-esque (the score was only recorded with string orchestra, say by Wallfisch).<br><br>Like i said before, is not a score for everyone, but if you love Wallfisch's writing for horror, this one is for youNow, i believe, is one of the best (i was more enganging with this one more than Solo, wich i still found good, but not the best from Powell, sorry) scores written by Powell, still, not has tremendous as the HTTYD trilogy, but one of the most incredible, beautiful and heart-warming scores written by him.<br><br>Powell found himself comfortable with this style of americana/folk (Wake the Girls, is a such good start the album) and combining it with his action/adventure style of writing ('Snowy Climb', the incredible -one of the best cues of the album- 'Buck Takes the Lead', 'Ice Rescue'), but when it comes the emotional -not discover nothing new-, man, Powell is fricking good: 'We Carry Love', 'Finding Bears and Love in the Woods' or 'Come Say Goodbye'.<br><br>One of the best scores of 2020, by far.I found myself more entertaining by this one (after multiple listenings) than with Skyscraper, but not more than TLK or TMNT and TLWH.<br><br>The themes are there, very simplistic, but effective (the melodie for RST twisted in 'Harting', for example or the more melodic and peaceful theme in 'KT'), and yes, the sound design, but in the defense of Jab, he is far more rhytmic than others attepmting it (the element of horror hearing in 'Martin Axe' or the percussive twisted agressive in 'The Tunnel') or the more echoing 'The Island' guitar riffs in 'Ray Garrison', even he reutilizes the percussive timing Decepcticon theme for the motif (i think) for Bloodshot.<br><br>Maybe, i gave him more credit, but in his defense, i was expecting something more electronic (plenty electronic are here), but is more orchestral and melodic i was expecting.Sadly this one failed to impress in any way for me. I felt like falling asleep for much of this album. Overall too simplistic, ugly, and cliched with very difficult to pin down thematic material, as the melodies are so minimalist.
To whom it may concern...<br><br>Is it possible to download or in any other way purchase the Hannibal (Expanded) score somewhere? I have the original motion picture soundtrack, but would LOVE to have them both..<br><br>Best regards<br><br>Nicholas10 and 16 are missing from the store pack. Most probablyI am not a hybrid, i will try to give my opinion. I think, music in 5 season will come out when and 6 season. But I really want to be wrong!!! :)It's very sad...(((
The 'Allentown Brothers' track is pretty damn awesome (find it on YouTube). It's like a mix between gothic Elfman, Desperate Housewives and Transformers. I love it.<br><br>It's one of those scores that people don't talk about much but it's actually pretty cool. <br><br>An awesome venue would be the Opera House in Odessa.Want this so bad!!!Does anyone have a breakdown of this with the official score album?<br>Hats off to Batu Sener for working on many of the score's best cues though!
It all comes to personal preference I think. Personally I’ve moved on from collecting cd’s (or anything really) and would rather have everything digital simply to utilize space. <br><br>That being said, I completely understand the appeals of having physical media, it would be sad to see that go away for the people who really love it.It's not only to appreciate the work, its to have something "real" in your hands, for your music collection. I don't like only to have a digital music archive. Of course, i rip all the cds i own to WAV and MP3. But i want to have them in my physical music collection. These day, sure. But we usually get news of the next one by the time he's finished wrapping up the current one.Powell only does 1 score a year.Still no news on his next score? Is he taking a break or something? Working on more concert stuff?

Lieber Hans,

Hans Zimmer, your "Inception" soundtrack is one of my favorite musical pieces of all time. So moving, so dramatic, so moving and so thrilling. Amazing piece of work. I listen to it again and again, it always inspires and lifts me up from reality to an upper realm. Thank you for your beautiful creations of pure art!

Hello Hans Zimmer Team,

Great soundtracks ever since !
Just an idea: what about composing for flutes,
especially flutes used in old music in a film, that
everyone expects to have a "modern" theme ?
Some great flute players of today are quite good doing improvisations. best whishes, Ricky

Is there any way to possibly release the chronological order to the Twister film score? Sadly, as it is in the CD is not the order that the tracks appear in the movie - and any help I can get with this would be monumentally appreciated!

Hello!

Could you please tell me if it's possible to use an excerpt (1 minute or 2) from the track "A Dark Knight", included in the soundtrack of the film "The Dark Knight", in a promotional clip, paying for the licensing rights, of course?

I hope this message doesn't offend you! I very much appreciate mr. Zimmer's work!

You are probably already aware, but do you know LL Bean has used the Interstellar score for commercial purposes?

It's close, but it's actually not the actual score. It's very very close to the same melody and movement though.

On his FB site, he writes: "Here's a sneak preview of the score for BBC Earth's Planet Earth II, which Hans composed with Jacob Shea and Jasha Klebe of Bleeding Fingers Music."

I wish there was a Hans Zimmer Complete Edition available that contains all(!) of his genius music. (Pretty much the same as the Bach Complete Edition with 142 CDs and a duration of nearly one week :) )

Background:
Even though I already bought more than 35 HZ CDs, I still have only a fraction. Most of the older discs (pre 2000) are extremely rare.

Just for the case that someone from RCP reads that message and wants to fulfill this DREAM: Please do also include all unpublished music in the complete edition (especially everything from "The thin red line") - Many thanks :-)

(I already see the HZ Complete Edition box with 500 CDs on my CD shelf) ;-)

If ever possible. You must do a feature with one of the most AMAZING FAMILY OF MUSICIANS Kanneh-Masons extremely talented and full of charisma. I have no relation to them whatsoever, but I am such a huge fan of yours and they seem like if they collabed with you. It would be ground breaking.

I just read the slashfilm.com post saying that you were done with super hero compositions, I'm not going to complain...

I just wanted to say thank you for the fantastic 2013 Man of Steel sound track, I love the percussion, I love the subtle power, the unresolved movement forward of the music, I love the story telling the music does, it really made the movie for me!!!

Good luck with your future pursuits!

Cheers,

I'm a huge fan of yours Hans. I'ma music composer that has written a few songs for some rides at Kings Island. I would love to join you in your work sometime. Please, let me know if you would be interested. I'm looking to further my career in music.

Hi, I'm a big fan of that song of you: God Yu Tekem Laef Blong Mi
in a thin red line.
I haven't learnt much on the internet so far expect it is Malaysian.
What I try to know now it's all the cultural things around ?
When do the people sing that kind of song ? Is it a death ceremony song ?

Thank you in advance!

To all the mods, to Hybrid, to the community here... since this is the feedback section, I'll go ahead and leave this here:

It may sound funny to say, but thanks for this great site. It's truly a resource for anyone interested in RCP and background on RCP / Zimmer scores, and it's been an awesome place for discussion and learning about all these scores for as long as I've been visiting (5 years or so now). There are lots of great film score / composer sites, but this one tops all of them for me (even though RCP isn't necessarily my favorite in the film score world). So to everybody who makes this site awesome... thank you. :)

Dear Nick,
I would like to thank you for nice music you are composing. My family is a big fan of your work.
My son (9 years) like your music very much too and he is playing flute. We are looking everywhere for music sheet for flute from the film The Man in the Iron Mask but no succesfull. I would like to kindly ask you if you can send me this music sheet Heart of the King. He would like to train it and surprise his flute teacher. :-)
Thank you a lot.

Hi,
I was at your final show in the city of Orange, in France.

I was there with my two little girls ( 4 and 5 years old ) and my girlfriend, and i just can tell to you and your team that this show was awesome.

The entire show frightened me, from the Thelma and Louise theme to The thin red line, Interstellar, Inception.

The whole work you and your team do is fantastic, and we (my little girls, girlfriend & me) were glad to be there.

All of these movies wouldn't have been so great without your songs.

Thanks a lot.

Dear, Hans!
I made a small amateur film about the rescue of orca and used your song entitled "Rise" from the movie about Batman. You can give permission for its use in non-commercial purposes to display a larger audience of people?

Vielen lieben Dank

Wir würden uns über eine DVD des Konzerts freuen. :-)

Is Hans Zimmern aware of the fact that his score from Gladiator has moments of very distinct similarly to works by Gustav Holst? Portions of the score sound almost exactly like "Mars".

Hi Mr Zimmer!

I'm a big fan of yours from Venezuela. I'm a filmmaking student and really interested in the film composing area. For college work, I'm doing a research about your music on these films: Interstellar, Inception, Gladiator and Thelma & Louise.

I would love to show you my work. My email is danielabarillasortega@gmail.com

Thank you for your wonderful work on cinema!

Hi Mr Zimmer, I am a big fan of your work. Recently a Colorbond Steel advertisement was posted on YouTube and the music played in it sounds all to similar to your 'Cornfield Chase' piece from Interstellar. I know i wouldn't want my music to be copied like that so i just thought I'd inform you.
Thanks
