It's nothing short of a masterpiece, a modern opera. The choir is beautiful, and the choice of gospel for the first track gives it a unique identity, though I'm not sure how well it meshes with the orchestra. It feels a bit off, but will hopefully improve for me on further listens.

The composition, has to me, elevated Powell to the status of the second best living composer (Williams is still first for now). Rogue One is a bit of an odd one. From what I'd heard, Desplat had joined on the condition he'd be allowed to do his own thing and not ape Williams. But once they decided to overhaul the film, they pressured him to go that exact direction. Things stayed still for a while (in which he still got paid) before he was finally let go very late into production. So the idea he sorta just left is interesting, so I'm curious to hear what that was about.

For BW, it seems very likely to me that Marvel simply were unsure about Alexandre's music, so I'm guessing they hired Balfe to do some demos and decided from there. Who knows what the exact timeline is, but I'd wager it'd have to at least be this year if he's been on it a bit. Especially with AD's name having stayed on the posters during it.Hybrid, Desplat left Rogue One just for his own idea? I know he left that movie beacuse schedule conflict for the reshoots.
But for Black Widow seems that the replacement was since months ago with Lorne writing and recording the score at the same timeht tp:// filmmusicreporter. com/2020/04/01/ track-list-for-disneys-live-action-mulan -soundtrack-album-revealed/

Why release a tracklist for an album that won't be released for another 6 months at least. That's just a punch in the gut, in my opinionSo it won't be a last minute and hasty job?No idea but he was on it for a bit, I think.
Hybrid, do you know how long Lorne had to score?Score is recorded already.Yup, which makes me wonder if they had to wait before announcing it, considering Desplat was still being listed in posters prior to the delay.I think Lorne teased this some time ago by sending a picture of researching Russian music on insta (maybe)Hello,

I'm looking for the translation of the song God Yu Tekkem Laef Blong Mi in English of French.

Could anyone help me ?

Thank you !

This is merely what I’m sure is a ridiculous suggestion from someone who has no conception of what Mr. Zimmer’s life and schedule are like.
Given the powerful and hypnotic music of works such as “Man of Steel”, “Interstellar”, “Batman Begins”, and “Gladiator”, I’m one of the many diehard fans who selfishly crave more of such music from Mr. Zimmer.

Has he ever considered doing his own music set to The Trojan War?
With the romance, battles, and various gods involved, I can only imagine how amazing his music for that story would be.
I’d gladly pay $20 for that, or more for any kind of extended project, and I’m very sure there are many fans in the world who would do the same.

Just wishful thinking...

Hi, I have a little question?

The Tracklist from the complete Score of Max Q - Emergency Landing, where did you get the information about how each track was named?

To whom it may concern...

Is it possible to download or in any other way purchase the Hannibal (Expanded) score somewhere? I have the original motion picture soundtrack, but would LOVE to have them both..

Best regards

Nicholas

Dear Mr Antas,
I am a young 19 years old boy who lives in Germany (Rheinland-Pfalz). I am asking for permission to use the music ´Time´ by Hans Zimmer. It will be used as background music for a motivational speech. I would give the credits of course and everything what I have to do, to use that music. Because I am in love with the music you produce and publish. What can I do for you for using it ? On what should I pay attention while publishing or creating my video?

Your sincerly
Ferhan Isbilir

Hello Mr.Hans Zimmer,

Big fan, I love your work. I saw you April 2017 at the Microsoft Theater, dream come true. Is there a chance you can please come again to Los Angeles?

Dear administrators,
may I ask why the biographie of Mr Zimmer on this page feels kind of outdated? It feels a bit strange in 2019 that it states 'Madagascar' ot 'Batman Begins' are still 'upcoming pojects'...
Mr Zimmer - I'd like to thank you so much for your wonderful work.
If I'll ever be asked, what the most inequity on earth is, I'd say 'That Hans Zimmer didn`t receive more Academy Awards for the fabulous work he's doing" (Pirates of the Carribean?? Inception?? etc...) Please continue in enriching our lives in the way you`re doing it right now.
Looking forward to the next concert 'World of Hans Zimmer' in Hamburg, 2019!!!

Dear Mr. Zimmer,

You're actually good at scoring other movies. Will Lorne Balfe score Godzilla vs. Kong after Bad Boys for Life? I think he'll do it after this. Thanks for scoring the live-action version of The Lion King and Dark Phoenix. Hope you'll have a wonderful day. Again, thanks for everything.

Sincerely,
Sam Whitacre

Dear Mr. Zimmer,

Thank you for your song "Time" from Inception. I recently (half an hour ago) discovered it and have fallen madly in love with it. I laid down on the floor of my office and turned off the lights and just listened. I swear to you that I felt the vastness of time and space itself forge on past me while I listened. As a senior in high school, it's helped me appreciate even more the fact that time is always moving and that I must take advantage of every possible opportunity that comes my way both this year and in life. Words can't really describe how your song made me truly feel.

Thank again,
Jadon King

Dear Mr. Zimmer!
Your music is beautiful. I will definitely come to your concert in Moscow. I can not find information about the composition of your orchestra. What are the names of the girls who play the first violin?

Dear Mr. Zimmer!
When I listen to your ost for Interstellar it reminds me of the time I have with my children. They are still young but the music puts the perspective of time and the fact that they will grow up. The music helps to step back from the day to day life and take a look at the big picture: life and time itself. Some day we will look back and think of this moment and would wish to return to now. Thank you

Dear Mr. Zimmer!
I found a very nice music, but unfortunately I do not know who the author is and on what disc! I guess you wrote it! I've been trying to ask for information in many places, and many friends, but unfortunately I don't know!
Unfortunately, I can't send this detail to this address! Can I request an email address where I can upload a detail?
Yours sincerely, László

Dear Zimmer,

I am going to your concert at Barcelona in December 2019, can I suggest some OST to the list:
- Interstellar (very important, one of your best works)
- Journey to the line (also very important)

Someone can explain me why Lord Zimmer isn’t doing the music for next Nolan’s film: TENET. I thought his relationship was unbreakable. The film will be completely different without Zimmer. I think we, all fans, have to convince him throughout social media and Internet, despite he has 2 more film in 2020. He can do it, should do it.

Greetings. My message probably is adressed to Hybrid Soldier, since it seems he is the one who posts credits for releases on this site. I would like to ask - is it possible somehow to contact with you directly to discuss some aspects of the release credits. I am "working" as an editor on musicbrainz.org and want to upload RCP albums metadata there, but in the process i have met too many problems regarding credits data from databases and differencies on your site.

Dear Mr. Zimmer,

I am entering my surgery residency next month. I am also in the process of commissioning as an officer in the US military. Before attending medical school, I worked as an engineer and volunteered as an EMT. I have written and published 11 novels and one novella. I wanted to let you know that throughout my life, your music has served as my soundtrack. I have seen movies expressly because you were the score composer. I am a huge fan, and will continue to download and listen to everything you compose. It never ceases to evoke emotion, inspiration, and sometimes even spiritual moments as I go about my work. You can expect that when I am the lead surgeon on a case and have the privilege of choosing the music, your scores will be playing over the OR speakers.

Sincerely,

Morgan Gilmour

Dear Hans Zimmer,
I'm a huge fan of your work for a longggg time! I recently had the privilege to attend to Lisbon's concert on April, 3 at Altice Arena. It was such a brilliant show!!! I still have the shivers when I remember it! and you did show up on stage! That was one of the highest moments of the show!!

As a fan of your music, I'd like to suggest you to add 3 or 4 OST musics to your next concerts. Movies musics like the following are worth listening at a live performance:
- The Rock - it's full of adrenaline!
- Crimson Tide - performing the musics with the russian navy choir would be simply fabulous!
- True Romance - you already performed this one in early concerts (as in "In the Wings of a Film"). Fantastic music!
- Blue Planet [TV Serie] - the images that could be displayed can be a wonderful tribute to our Pale Blue Dot (as Carl Sagan called Earth)!

Please think about this possible enhancement of your next performances!
Best regards and keep on ,
Pedro

I wish you heartfelt health and happiness...
