Technically he's a little under 50% used so there's no obligation. But he wrote a whole score for it.but if Lorne has written 50% of the score you should have a credit like in Ghost in the shellLorne is got additional music credit, not for co-composer, and still appear the image of the label for the soundtrack. But Lorne is still not credited as an official composer. It is possible that Lorne shares credit with Max.In other news Lorne just finished compiling the OST for Gemini Man...
When Richter was the composer there was an album planned at Deutsche Grammophon...

When Lorne jumped in to write a new score for the movie, apparently that release was cancelled... Now that film has like 50/50 MR LB, and nothing's planned at all.

So we'll see, but apart from posting some cues of his score online, like Lorne did before, I doubt there'll be an official release... And if Richter's release gets back on track, it would definitely have his score only.Hybrid, by "not happening" you mean Richter's part of the score or Balfe's? Or the whole thing is as messed up as Ghost in the Shell, regarding the score?@Hybrid why? Will theyíre ever be a release score on YouTube and other websites this is a piece of art beautiful score 18 years later itís still have been published please answer my question if have this score Gmail it to me itís elijahboy564@gmail.comProbably not happening...
Huh. Weird how Harper and HGW worked on continuous chunks of the movie, like Hans assigned them reel by reel or something...any news about Ad Astra score release? The words mediocre is not something you use when talking about this score. Kamen score is good but not on this level, and Ottman doesn't even come close. But that's just my opinionYi and Everest Duet, The Leshen Buddha...
Absolutely gorgeousAnybody else notice that the track "Spider Attack" actually cuts a fairly noticeable section out at the beginning? When you know who is attacked by the Deadlights, there's those low blasts like the "Deadlights" track from Chapter 1.

It shouldn't be a biggie though: it seems to be an easily-replicatable section.
Is "Preparations - Citadel Left Turn (Alternate)" the extended version of Many Mothers on the OST? Noticed I'm missing a track and the times on both match up perfectly.Little credit update.Happy Birthday MaestroI actually really liked it. Just listened to it on the train home from work. Really enjoyed Kait's theme and the action cues, as well as the dark tinge to the tracks.

Is it his best? Not at all. And the album has the misfortune of being released not too long after Ramin's phenomenal GoT score which doesn't help things. But as far as a regular score goes, I've heard a LOT worse.
Damn, this is wrong on so many levels

What a wonderful score. James Dooley's style here really is something special: variety of instruments and textures, brass reminiscent of both older Zimmer and LOTR/The Hobbit (though obviously cheaper-sounding), some Danny Elfman energy, melodic heartfelt elements, and playful innocence reminiscent of early 2000s Jablonsky.

"Oswald's Theme" in itself is a wonderful achievement of composition, with each variation implying another element of the character's backstory, and I'm not even someone who really cares about most things Disney, really. I really hope there's more music like this in Dooley's filmography, because this is one of my favorite video game scores, or even collections of music in general.
