Thank you. And i suppose "Need You Busting My Balls - End Credits" title would correspond to ASCAP "Need You Busting My Balls" + "RUSH END CREDITS", while "Just Married" to "RUSH MAIN ON END"?That’s literally the best part of the score though. But it’s typical Richter (Miss Sloane, Black Mirror: Nosedive).Hunt Drunken Weirdness is barely a cue actually, it's just a patch up of sound designs by Mel...

Italian Party is a name I made up for a cue that's not used in the movie ! :)In ASCAP there is a cue "HUNT DRUNKEN WEIRDNESS" - is this by a chance an alias to "Italian Party", which is absent in ASCAP. @Anonymous: technically it's already Friday in some countries, and there's no sign of any album on the iTunes of these countries. And if that were the case, filmmusicreporter would have announced it already, anyway.@DS Possible, but you are right, it could be film release, but why he put hashtags by #soundtrack? I have to wait till filmusicreporter announced for Ad Astra, but if not happen by the soundtrack tomorrow, then, I have to wait till the confirm from the news.@Anonymous: Are you sure Lorne mentionned the soundtrack release, or just the film release? His posts I've seen just say "Ad Astra is released on the 20th"... Pretty sure he means the film.

@Ahmad: Totally agree with what you wrote. It's an overall dull score, with some nice ideas that go nowhere. A few bits are obviously Lorne (like the opening cue, beautiful but how original is it to use an organ for a space scene?). And a few bits are obviously Richter, who is really on autopilot here (Hostiles - Mary Queen Of Scots - Werk Ohne Autor are nice scores, but all constructed in the exact same way). And the majority of it is quite anonymous, just ambient sounds far in the background. Also it seems like what they did with the score, they did it with the screenplay as well, because that's a freaking mess that doesn't seem to know which kind of movie it wants to be, and ends up being quite flat on all sides. Quite disappointing. Awesome visuals, though, but it's already been seen in the likes of Sunshine, Gravity, Interstellar, The Martian... all vastly superior pieces of cinema.

Anybody haven't you seen two new tweets update recently by Lorne Balfe from his twitter it said Ad Astra soundtrack will released tomorrow.So Zimmer being listed as the main theme composer at the top of the page is inaccurate too? It definitely sounds more like Lorne than Hans.

I'm glad I got this complete score, but certain tracks are too loud and some are too quiet. I have to edit the volume on iTunes. But other than that, I'm glad I got this finally. Those fan edits can now be thrown away.

Iceboy reply Replies: 0 || 2011-04-10 00:00:00
I think you will find thats good dynamic range! Most modern OST CDs are compressed to keep everything at a similar volume. This 2CD edition makes you appreciate every nuance of the music when played at a good volume. And iTunes will not fix it - it will make it too loud and clip it, which is also very very bad.

I hope we see a batman begins leak in the near future

Hybrid Soldier reply Replies: 0 || 2011-04-10 00:00:00
Look how you are... Just got TDK, already begging for Begins...

You just can't be happy, can you ? :P

Takehiro reply Replies: 0 || 2011-04-10 00:00:00
Hey we need the pair to make it a good set! :P

I already know two people who have it, so you should just post the info for us :) I'll make you the coverart in return.

Anonymous reply Replies: 0 || 2011-04-10 00:00:00
Oh yeah what a good idea, I send you the complete score and in return you offer me your homemade coverart... That's such an honest trade... hahahaha

Takehiro reply Replies: 0 || 2011-04-10 00:00:00
No I said post the info, i.e. the tracklisting :)

Hybrid Soldier reply Replies: 0 || 2011-04-09 00:00:00
So it's out ! Well I guess after nearly 8 months undercovered, it was supposed to leak one way or another...

Is the world better ? The food tastes better ? The future brighter ??

Haha

You know, this bootleg just adds 30 min of unreleased music (and some very repetitive Joker variations)... It's not SUCH a big deal, considering we had a 2 CD set already (even though poorly edited :P)...

And Iceboy, you clearly look like you're trying to imitate my edit of Why So Serious ? Pay attention : at the end of Why So Serious?, faded with I'm Not A Hero on OST, I added between 0:28 & 0:44 of Bank Robbery to fit ! And then cut it violently to add some more "anarchy" to the cue ! xD I had not really other options left... :P

And I changed the tracklist here slightly...

"Is the world better ? The food tastes better ? The future brighter ??"

For some of us - yes. Yes it is, yes it does. Is that so bad?

Score music is part of my very essence. So to hear more of it, just makes my life that little better.

Iceboy reply Replies: 0 || 2011-04-09 00:00:00
30 mins or not, I dont care!!! :D

Now all we need is Hybrid to list Batman Begins 2CD and others. They must exist!
Why wont you add secret stuff for us? Why not give fans information on whats out there? Why is that bad?

Anonymous reply Replies: 0 || 2011-04-09 00:00:00
BATMAN BEGINS!!!

please and thanks ;)

but i think there will be high demand (amongst us) for a batman begins complete score if dark knight rises gets a complete score release.

Cloud reply Replies: 0 || 2011-04-09 00:00:00
So uhh, could anyone remind me why this is so amazing? I mean, the official 2-CD edition already had all the major stuff on it so what great unreleased cues are still to be discovered on this bootleg?

Hybrid Soldier reply Replies: 0 || 2011-04-09 00:00:00
Iceboy, I just can't, cause it turns people on, they'll start to ask questions etc...

And I'm mainly thinking about people who don't want to be bothered with those question...

So keep cool, and enjoy what you have so far !! :P

Prott reply Replies: 0 || 2011-04-09 00:00:00
In the end everything has it`s complete release stored somewhere in RCP... I think there`s no point in adding it to H-Z.com discography when there`s nobody outside "the trusted circle" who has it. :-)

If people ask questions, so what? People just like to know. I think if you have stuff, you should post it, even if its just every now and then.

And you know, once something is leaked, more people have it than you think. And it always gets out so you might as well just post the tracklist here and be done.

Hybrid, how come your Joker Suite is 15secs or so longer than Why So Serious? And why include The Dark Knight suite from the OST when it contains music already on the bootleg?

Hybrid Soldier reply Replies: 0 || 2011-04-08 00:00:00
Soooooo :

1m4 Dirty Cash is in OST's "Always A Catch" (from 0:46 to the end), should have been used when the camera's entering the robbed bank near the beginning, with Gordon inside checking the $$$ and Batman joins him.

2m13 Halfway To Hong Kong is in OST's "Halfway To Hong Kong" (from 2:26 to the end), should have been when Gordon, the Bat & Dent are discussing on the roof about what to do with Lau.

But both scenes have no music (so the bootleg hasn't them either). I've watched both scenes with music and it worked very well... I guess they just decided to go without it. :)

On the sheet music, Action Ice Theme & New Batman Theme are very similar, starting the exact same way... But as I know nothing about reading music, I can't confirm totally haha ! But Like A Dog Chasing Cars definitely is a Theme Suite for Batman... :)

And for Who Appointed The Batman, well on the sheet music there's something written by JNH for the alt, like it just has an instrument added or removed... Nothing special missing... That cue just sounds like it's from Blood Diamond... :)

Takehiro reply Replies: 0 || 2011-04-08 00:00:00
I second the request for the source of Dirty Cash and Who Appointed Batman Alternate. Are they on the soundtrack?

Hybrid Soldier reply Replies: 0 || 2011-04-08 00:00:00
I just edited the end of Why So Serious with another cue to make it "cut" properly, as on the OST it's faded with "Find The Batman" (I'm Not A Hero's beginning)...

And TDK suite is truly a SUITE, not a MONTAGE, it has many things not in the film score (rearranged stuff) ! :)

Gavin Salkeld - Composer reply Replies: 0 || 2011-04-08 00:00:00
Yes, this is the version I have. I cut some of the silence from the start and ends of some cues as some of them had long pauses, so my running time is ever so slightly shorter.

Did you take it from the start or end of the cue?

Hybrid Soldier reply Replies: 0 || 2011-04-08 00:00:00
Just a segment of Bank Robbery, 10 sec, nothing special, for a proper finish... :)

Iceboy reply Replies: 0 || 2011-04-08 00:00:00
K, so which cue did you mix it with Hybrid?
