That's all i was trying to do is make a point lol i still can't believe I'm the only one who's noticed that.Oh wow you’re right those are very similar... almost too similar lol. I thought you were referring to that low brass motif for Kylo Ren amd also didn’t see where you got that from, but you definitely have a point.Don't believe me? Here's Kylo rens theme listen from :30 and forward https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mp433n4KzDA

Now here exodus wounds, from the beginning you can hear it but it becomes more apparent at 1:45 and onward https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kjDujO-3BecDude go to youtube type in Exodus wounds from the war for the planet of the apes soundtrack then go and search for Kylo Ren theme it's the first video called kylo ren suite. Literally note for note he copied and pasted Williams kylo ren theme.I'll acknowledge that maybe War/Apes is a more distinctive and accomplished score than Homecoming. I just find a lot of it not very gratifying to listen to. The first fifteen minutes in particular is a really tough slog. Homecoming on the other hand is a standard typical Giacchino score, no surprises whatsoever, but it's more enjoyable for me (although the action music outside of a couple cues is really generic, I prefer the playful stuff in the first half of the score, and the main theme is pretty catchy and memorable).

Also, where the hell is Kylo Ren's theme in War/Apes?
Giacchino's score in War for the planet of the Apes I think is on my top three scores of 2017, but the Oscars, BAFTAS, Golden Globes and so on would never give an award to a score like that because they (almost) always prefer scores like The Shape of Water (which is good and works great in context but it's not as great)where is the Zanelli/Lindgren music in the movie??Isildur , so if hans for example won an academy award for his amazing spiderman 2 he should share it with 11 other composers beacause all of them had credit , really??!! ( magnificent six and about 5 additional music composers )No news yet Mr. Bale 😞No news yet Mr. Bale 😞
Agreed, War for the Planet of the Apes is much better than Homecoming. IMHO.I really like War for the Planet of the Apes. Giacchino did a great job creating a score unique to the movie with great atmosphere. I am actually tired of "Giacchino having fun."Amazing soundtrackPlanet Earth II has a 2CD release, but Blue Planet II?I bought a 2CD version. It's, to my experience, very complete.
@Fares wanna hear a fun fact about giacchinos score for war for the planet of the apes he copied john williams Kylo ren theme note for note. Listen to Exodus Wounds and then go and listen to Kylos theme. Literally note for note doesn't even try to hide it.Any recent news about the release? Somebody has to leak this. Cannot wait!That does make sense. I can definitely understand them being wary about recording sessions, considering that is still a part of the film. But if JXL went to them and asked if he could put out the music, I wonder if they would be against that. Very strange if so....The percussion sample used in the suite here at 1:41 is also in Spy Game's "Training Montage"...as well as the in-game music for Age of Empires II, which is where I originally know it from. Was really surprised the first time I heard it pop up in those scores!It's a good question. I guess you might also say why does it matter if you get a bootleg of a complete score, so long as you also legally own the album you're not really "stealing" anything because it's not available to buy in the first place. But that's not how the law works. JXL wrote that music under contract and Warner can do whatever they want with it, including but not limited to locking it in a vault until the end of time.

Does it make sense? No. But studios are weird about their property, and there's not much we can do.

The cue sheet lists 7 pieces for the end credits. Which pieces were used on this to make up the 3:30 runtime? Hybrid, did you do this editing of the end credits yourself?

Yeah I just basically the first 1:30 of the Credits and its last 2 min... :P

It's the Batman season, alright. At this rate, Dark Knight Rises will be made available in full before it is even written.

I put Courthouse 1, Microwave Stolen & Fox Is Fired where they ACTUALLY are in the movie...

As for "Expanded" and not "Complete", a few bits are missing here & there...

Courthouse (Part 2), after Part 1... Batman Visits Gordon, after Preparing Equipment, or the cue just before Batman On Fire (when the DA gets shot in the back & Bat sneaks in the narrows, giving his tool to the boy)...

And a few bits not really interesting during the Return To Gotham / Crane Warns Rachel scenes...

So where are the missing cues? How come they arent included?

Hybrid Soldier reply Replies: 0 || 2011-04-11 00:00:00
I'm not doing them, Take, there's nothing I can do there ! lol
