Woops! Made a typo.

What was used in the final trailer *wasn't* exactly what ended up being used in the film ;)Sounds like a suite

And wasn't it only the final trailer that used material from the actual score? It was Lockdown's theme. But what was used in the trailer was exactly what ended up being used in the film.@MrTweedy
That is true, and you do get the guitars in "Barbarian Horde" (not sure where else though).

I have to admit, as revolutionary as Gladiator was at the time, I think it's one of Zimmer's more overrated scores. Not that I necessarily think it's bad, but IMO both Last Samurai and King Arthur show a much stronger balance of themes and action writing, yet unfortunately were never as recognized by the mainstream the same way Gladiator was. That synth in the main theme! I didn't expect that. It's really good.@mpolonest123
Actually, there's a small hint at the "spaniard" guitar theme after the sequence where he escapes his execution (track "Homecoming" on the More Music album).
No Transformers Last Knight thread yet so posting here. The official site got updated with a new piece of music, and holy hell, it's amazing!
www.transformers movie.com

Also pretty sure the last trailer's music was from him too, Age of Extinction had his scores on almost every trailer.I like all the posters they released for the film.
But if someone don't like them it's fine.
I will agree with you Dimitris, I too want the main poster as the cover for the album.Epic score from Harry!https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pirates_of_the_Caribbean:_Dead _Men_Tell_No_Tales

The main poster of the film is the best yes. I hope they put it for the album cover. Is this poster bad? It's one of the best I have seen.

https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5560e1bbe4b0cc18bc643 12d/5562957ce4b03107de7ca6ca/58f0476a5016e1685c5e99af/149214 1933102/17015800_10154981836668830_529268610073059017_o.jpg
Hopefully the artwork looks good, because the posters they released for this film are so bad and ugly.Release date 26th of May, it says under "more details".

Although maybe you should ask the 704 people who have voted on it already, because they seem to have heard the score!Beautiful musicFirst episode was really good . Lorne's score is amazing and totally different . Looking forward to this score release .Any news on the album?
Call me crazy but I really would have been interested to see what Tom's Godzilla would sound like under the direction of someone with good musical taste such as Dougherty.

Not really a huge fan of Desplat's work but I would definitely kill to hear Douglas Pipes take on this project.@Edmund Hahahahaha..... yeah, I've always heard that too. Even the chopping string section in the background of both pieces is vaguely similar.Zimmer did some additional music on this?Sounds to me like the big dramatic Bach-like theme at the very end of the Kraken. Only a slight similarity though :pWow Edmund, I'm impressed... where do you hear this theme in The Kraken? They sound like completely different pieces of music to me :-D

Hybrid, THANK YOU for mentioning this score on the KFP2 page all that time ago. I'd probably not have heard of it otherwise. It's excellent stuff. :)

Yeah, I think this is one of Lorne's better scores so far. First and last tracks are great!

Very beautiful score! Would be great to hear more BBC productions scored by Lorne Balfe. Maybe some excellent work from their Natural History Unit.

Really interesting score, nice main theme! Too bad it's all synths library, but surely there was no money for orchestra. Pressure Ridges is a fantastic cue

Really interesting score to a fascinating documentary.... I always think composers get really into a project with such meaning. A great stand alone soundtrack away from the picture as well... worth getting hold of.
