Yep, Hans can be a musical genius when given the opportunity.I hope there is going to be a "Redbad" release. MdR is basically Trevor's best work, and I really want to hear what he did for the director's current film.Last Night, I edited for the Traffik's score DVD sfx by Geoff Zanelli it's an okay score, but it's more like mystery music.

Here's the unreleased score

1.DVD Menu - 0:58
2.Logo - 0:58
3.Everything's Gonna Work Out - 1:16
4.The Northern Pines - 0:41
5.It's Your Lucky Day - 0:30
6.Car Chase - 0:52
7.Brea & John Riding Together In The Car - 0:27
8.Vacation House - 1:30
9.Human Trafficking - 0:24
10.Give Me The Phone! - 0:39
11.It's The Basement & Darren's Death - 2:22
12.Find The Case - 0:16
13.Should We Check It Out? - 0:25
14.Upload The Information To The Computer - 1:44
15.Biker Guy Shot The Old Man - 0:20
16.John's Death - 1:25
17.Nice And Slow - 0:38
18.Malia & Brea In The Tunnel - 0:49
19.Brea Escapes From The Tunnel - 1:03
20.Brea Finds Another Gas Station - 1:16
21.Call The Police - 0:37
22.Cops Rescue The Trafficked Women - 1:33

;)I'm guessing, based on the credits, that Williams worked on "Dice and Roll" directly?
He is.i don't doubt it, he and the director are good frineds and fans of each other, also they worked together on Annabelle so I'm willing to bet money he's the composer which is AWESOMEWallfisch just Retweeted the Shazam! trailer. Does that mean he is scoring it then? Hybrid can you say anything about this?On Millers water planet, those ticking noises happen every 1.25 seconds. Each tick you hear is a while day passing on Earth.@MikeOTM
Youíre absolutely right. Powell did an awesome job of staying within the musical sandbox of the SW musical universe but also was able to bring something fresh and original to the overall sound, something Star Wars really needs right now.
Sweet. I've gotta say, this score surprised me in a good way. I've always loved Powell, but if you told me two years ago he'd write a Star Wars score, I'd have been hesitant about it. But Solo is really, really solid, even without the John Williams main theme. In fact, I like what Powell does with the JW theme better than the theme as JW wrote it.Wowww so many solo Powell! His part is not in the OST release...No Paul Mounsey credits?Credits added !

I didn't credit here JW for every arrangements of his theme & old SW themes that can be heard throughout the score.
MoS, TASM2Badelt's "Solomon"?

This must be the "famous" Dark Knight reference that the "critics" are talking about.I could have sworn I had heard the Solomon theme and some of the same
Chords that Kraemer had used...
My mistake lol

And Balfe does seem like a genuinely nice person. Hell he even takes the time to put out unreleased music, not something most composers do.
That is exactly why I hate when people take personal jabs at composers (usually at Junkie XL for some reason). Itís fine to not like the music, everyone has different tastes, but donít criticize a composer for writing what he was asked to write.I agree! He actually invited me to come to a recording session in London for this film, man it killed me that I couldnít afford to go. But I was so thankful he even thought to ask! Top notch guy.Say what you want about Balfe but he's a really nice guy, and always answers my questions on FB and others on twitter.

Ohhh, nothing......Just here to remind folks what is the best M:I score. *cough*Balfe is not Zimmer*cough*

Seriously now.......Balfe seems to be turning into a film score version of Christopher Nolan. There are people who think he's the best thing since sliced bread, the next Jesus, and there are people who hate his guts. Personally, I don't mind him and I'm glad he gets to work on these big movies. But on the other hand, his score for the new MI movie is not even close to the greatness of Zimmer's MI2 score. At least in my opinion.

mpolonest1232018-07-15 21:19:31
Iím right there with you. I definitely think Balfe is very talented, although heís far from one of the best composers out there. Especially compared to Zimmer.

That being said, Iím not crazy about MI:2. The highlights are solid (Injection and Bare Island especially) but I find most of the score either schizophrenic or just not as developed as the scores that influence it. Sorta like how everybody loves ďThe RingĒ but I canít personally canít help but hear it as a lesser version of Hannibal.

Edmund Meinerts2018-07-15 23:33:49
Interstellar is barely 3 years old.

isildur2018-07-15 23:41:50
Even on last year's Dunkirk Hans wrote 90% of it. Unless you are born in the last few months there is plenty of music which Hans wrote and many can remember.

Mephariel2018-07-16 06:14:22
Christopher Nolan of music? You serious? You compare Balfe with Nolan, one of the most talented directors of this generation? Nolan always does his own shit. He doesn't tempt scenes from other movies and recolor them and call them his.

Has Balfe written a great score that is truly his own yet? Maybe I just haven't heard it.

The only thing Balfe and Nolan has in common is that they are both white and they are both British.

Mephariel2018-07-16 06:46:12
Because that opinion is clearly wrong when Dunkirk came out in 2017.

Bayhem2018-07-16 10:31:34
mpolonest123, I see your point.

But looking back at the MI2 score now, compared to some recent MV/RC stuff......it's just heads and tails above them. Again, that's just my opinion. There is a clear theme here, there is an actual structure. Not just some noisy sound effects thrown in the blender.

Bayhem2018-07-16 10:33:27
Mephariel, fair enough. I see your point as well.

Hybrid Soldier2014-04-06 17:49:08
Are you just plain stupid or just doing it on purpose ? I don't know which is the scariest...

PhantomThieve1172018-02-17 20:40:15
@ Hybrid why are you such a dick, he was just asking a question, not everyone is computer savy. He's probably asking how can he download songs from this website which you can't. Stop being such an ass that's why you got a fucked up hairline.

Hybrid Soldier2018-02-17 20:42:54

Yesterday Lorne told me: Injection was composed by Clint Mansell for Requiem for a Dream, and Hans used it for M:i2.

Ds2013-01-06 14:33:35
Wtf?

Hybrid Soldier2013-01-06 15:03:31
Lorne never discusses HZ's work. Certainly not old 10 years old stuff...

As Will Smith says in I, Robot...*ATCHOO* - sorry, I'm allergic to bullshit.

Fan from Spain2013-01-08 13:11:31
What??? I can't believe this, I really think Hans composed this amazing score!

atchoo2013-01-08 13:48:05
Will Smith mir gehen?

Edmund Meinerts2013-01-09 12:41:49
I think Injection was a collaboration between Hans Zimmer, Klaus Badelt and Clint Mansell. It was not Clint Mansell alone.

Anonymous2014-05-11 20:32:42
wait....i'm sorry....clint mansell even worked on this score?

Edmund Meinerts2014-05-11 20:47:55
That wasn't me, by the way. Accounts, site!

Bayhem2017-07-17 13:30:06
Injection is a track that just screams "Hans Zimmer". There's no way Mansell did it. So yes, complete bullcrap.

Why is the Buckcherry song on this edition?
And where are the alternative tracks from?

Hybrid Soldier2012-10-13 13:15:30
Because the song is co-written by HZ, it's actually a theme from the score...

dallas2012-10-13 20:42:34
OK and what about the alternative tracks at the end there?

Hybrid Soldier2012-10-13 22:52:49
OST has some different things.

And there was one from an odd promo Klaus Badelt sent probably as an application to score S.W.A.T. 10 years ago...

dallas2012-10-14 06:25:39
Thank you, Soldier. It seems Escape is the last part of Bare Island but Seville is shorter than this list on the OST and The Bait is too. Are those both from the OST?

dallas2012-10-15 20:42:47
Or maybe another fan knows?
