seeming score snippets at 6:29, 29:13 and 34:55.in the first episode is nothing about the score :/ mehhThis is a beautiful score by the way. I have feeling this will get lost with NTTD, Dune, and WW84 coming out, but people should give this a listen. The new overture is a nice remix of the main PEII theme. And I "Surfing Dolphins" is yet again a winner.Dave didn't work on it, but a few Blue Planet stuff were used so he gets some sort of credit in the cuesheet for "A Celebration".Who did Zimmer do this with? Shea and Fleming?
May Mr. Zimmer and his team be interested on “extracting” music from the human body for medical purposes?<br>You can reach me at:<br>jcp77452 at um.es<br>ThanksNot only is the album fun as a concept album, it's a surprisingly good score to picture. The themes are really clear for each of the characters and the music really fits the action. Even though the action is kind of corny. Real underrated gem. <br><br>I finally watched the film and even though it's a sort of 5 or 6 out of 10 average/okay movie, it reminded me just how much personality gets injected when Hans Zimmer does the score. He really has a strong voice.Yeah this is a pretty fair assessment.<br><br>While I’ve found myself liking it less and less now that we’re hearing things like ME or Alita from Tom there are still some excellent tracks throughout. <br>(The Dark Tower, Collateral Damage, Guardian, It Will Fall, Roland of Eld)<br><br>My biggest gripe is with the purely sound design cues. They honestly go nowhere and end up padding the album out. What this score needed was a solid villain motif and some more orchestral underscore. It’s like one-half of the score is the more traditional side of Holkenborg whereas the rest falls into his early habit of just making noise.I give it a listen after three years, and i still like it.<br><br>If isn't as good as Mortal Engines or Alita, have a interesting aspects to enjoy: his main theme for Roland, some of the action cues are strong, even the dramatic ones (The Creed or Collateral Damage), some of the sound design are interesting.<br><br>Maybe the weakest aspect of the album, is the middle, some tracks are not that interesting to listen.woooooow <3
From the "No Time to Die" podcast description...<br><br>"You can also be the first to hear exclusive score from Hans Zimmer and brand new recordings from the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra from Bond 25 brought to you from Decca Records."<br><br>First of six episodes is released on Wednesday 30th September!!that would be great@GR7 that sounds really cool care to share?Hi! What's the story with track "Into Space"? They really copy track "Planet Descent" and name it that "Into Space"?I agree guys. Yhis album and parts of the experiments are vey enjoyable. I tend to listen to OST prriodically, and each year there is one or severall scores that replace what I listen the most, and so on... but Dark phoenix is one I can listen every time. <br>I made personal suites assembling music from the OST and mixing it with expremients, and it results in a 50 min suites album, I really like it.
Same for me. I'm so happy ! :DA Celebration? It's actually on youtube now.Got it. I assumed as much for the first 3. Thanks.hahahaha ... crack, sorry. Well so far there is no news of anything. Only the video that one track and one with Dave, but it's a preview.<br>I'm not sure how to get news on this, I really would like to get it hahaha.Isabel Suite = Isabel the Strong<br>Thadeous Suite = Thadeous<br>The Quest Suite = Let Us Quest!<br><br>End credits is probably ripped from the film.

Huh?

Hybrid Soldier reply Replies: 7 || 2015-01-21 20:33:50
Amazon has it now listed for mid-march, so looks like it's coming afterall ! :)

Hybrid Soldier2015-01-28 21:16:50
Finally details ! :)

Zimson2015-01-28 22:01:57
Yeah! The end title sequence is so awesome! :) Some kind of spanish-russian mashup. Not sure how he came up with this. :D

Zismon2015-01-28 22:36:57
Oh ok, it's from the scene where the kids play the guitars. Now I see why. :)

KT Koskela2015-01-29 00:24:28
YAY, details and the fact this is finally going to be released!

Edmund Meinerts2015-01-29 10:42:01
Whoa! Only six tracks for This is the End? I can only guess LLL got up to their usual tricks and combined a ton...Man, I love that label, but that is a really annoying habit of theirs.

Scorefan2015-01-29 23:04:46
This is the end Promotional score (a.k.a. known as complete score) has 29 minutes, and LLL has 13 minutes

Edmund Meinerts2015-01-30 10:20:12
Aw, that sucks. It certainly looks like there was room to include the complete score and keep it on one disc. Wonder why they didn't. :/

KT Koskela reply Replies: 0 || 2015-01-29 01:13:22
Y'know, with the score album being on iTunes right now, and yes, I checked, I decided to listen to the previews of the songs, and I noticed some major differences between the film versions heard in This is the End and the tracks I heard in the album, particularly Celebrity Sinkhole and Final Rapture on the album and where "Hills on Fire/The Sinkhole" and "The Rapture of Seth and Jay" are in the film, and even "Feeling Horny?" wasn't in the film. Guess it was either this or "The Devil Rapes Jonah."

"The Interview"'s score segments, though, sound just as epicly awesome and awesomely epic as they did in the film (though I miss that awesome guitar riff that showed up where "The Wrath of Kim" was in the film), and there's even some cool new pieces, like Panic at the Palace, which I can say unless I'm wrong wasn't in the film itself (it was probably going to be during the scene where the guy who ate the poison died and his comrade got his head holified*). Hoping to hear some samples from the album... and Kingsman, if the latter's possible this soon.

So Amazon says "temporary out of stock" and La-La-Land has no words about it. It's safe to assume that this album is gonna delay and even cancelled.

KT Koskela reply Replies: 1 || 2014-12-24 02:01:38
Heard today that The Interview WILL be released after all.

Makes me wonder if this double score soundtrack will still be released.

Russel2014-12-24 19:20:45
I really hope La La Land didn't get rid of the art, etc, thinking the film was actually cancelled. I really hope they still release this. I was so looking forward to this.

Hybrid Soldier reply Replies: 12 || 2014-12-18 00:03:50
I wonder if with all the mess around the movie LLL will end up cancelling this...

The day America died... lol

Leo2014-12-18 00:58:41
The mentioning of the terrorist attack of September 11th was enough to make Sony and the major theaters shit their pants..

Macejko2014-12-18 13:04:20
Well, no movie means no soundtrack album as well. It's a way to promote a movie and Sony is done with that at this point.

Edmund Meinerts2014-12-18 13:11:17
Normally I'd agree with that line of thinking, Macejko - sad as it is - but this is La-La-Land we're talking about...a specialty score label that's actually interested in presenting the music for its own sake, rather than as a promotional tool.

Hybrid Soldier2014-12-18 13:36:35
Plus there's This Is The End involved... Film or not I think this CD is coming out...

Macejko2014-12-18 15:14:00
Just for the record, it's not how I see the soundtrack business either (in case you couldn't tell already ;). Sadly, I think that the movie studios do. And we will hear Henry's work only through some bootleg.

isildur2014-12-18 15:28:42
Why is Henry listed as composer Twice in the page?

Lambegue2014-12-18 15:30:29
I imagine most of the work for the album was already done - maybe it is even already pressed. In this case, would it change a lot, in terms of costs, to release it ? Maybe Sony has more to win than to loose by releasing it (even if I suppose that the profits on a soundtrack-album release is ridiculously low compared to the loss caused by not releasing the movie)

Hybrid Soldier2014-12-18 17:02:32
Because Henry is a mutant, isildur ! That's his evil twin !!! :)

No it's just the page is attached to 2 projects : The Interview and This Is The End... And the site can't really handle that lol...

Hybrid Soldier2014-12-18 19:34:10
Bingo LLL cancelled it... Crazy...

Anonymous2014-12-18 20:54:40
Hybrid, you seem surprised. Did you really see LLL releasing it? Remember when Season of the Witch and G.I. Joe were moved, and their soundtracks were not released until each film came out? I'll bet that's what will happen with The Interview, if and when Sony (or possibly another studio) decides to release it

Hybrid Soldier2014-12-18 21:01:46
Actually for Season of the Witch the label made a mistake and released the OST by mistake ! And I bought it back then ! haha

isildur2014-12-18 22:58:00
Hybrid, with all the Animated scores he has done/doing I wouldn't be surprised. Anything and everything is possible there. lol

Russel reply Replies: 0 || 2014-12-18 03:52:25
I really hope not, the score is probably really interesting, and I really want This is the End as well.
