Okay, so forgive me if this has been discussed already, but what exactly was the extent of Zimmer's contribution here? I've read that Zimmer basically only worked on the Camille songs and the score was entirely Richard Harvey (plus the other guys, I guess - Hybrid mentioned that Dom Lewis helped on "Escape"). Is that true, or an exaggeration?

A while ago I read a review that was saying this. It spoke explicitly about "Zimmer's songs and Harvey's score". Maybe you read the same review :-p
I don't think it's really accurate, even if most of the music is indeed quite different from HZ's usual output. I must admit I have no idea what Harvey usually sound like.

The escape cue is the best one in the score. Really touching and beautifully orchestrated.
Quick question to anyone who's seen the movie: there's a beautiful piece of music playing in the scene where the girl is running/biking to the hospital. This track is not on the release, but I suspect it to be the instrumental version of the track "Equation". Can someone confirm it?

Does anyone have instrumental version of this song? I really can't find it :(
Found the US version of this album on iTunes itunes.apple.com/us/album/little-prince-original-motion/id10 25195894. So any words for physical copy release in US?
Hello , apart from the four titles that Camille sings, is anyone know what other titles in his voice appears. And what titles Gabriel Kuti sings ? Thank you
What a lovely movie! The score makes it shine bright, a really nice output from team HZ. For those interested, the soundtrack is totally out of order, and I think it's impossible to order it because some tracks contain various cues from different places in the movie.

yep...a very lovely score with wonderful themes and a very nice orchestration, especially in the action parts. The score has a french feeling all over the place without sounding to much hollywood cliche. good work by team rcp.
Another zimmer score. another 48 additional composers to arrange the challenging material for him.
quick someone find the 5 minute suite of basic chord progressions and ostinatos that proves its 'all him' LOL

Between the relative obscurity of the film, Harvey's co-composing credit and the presence of six (!) other composers (including a couple eyebrow-raisers...Benjamin Wallfisch, Nick Glennie-Smith!)...yeah, the OP may be a bit of a troll, but this doesn't seem like one of Zimmer's more hands-on projects, does it?

They really didn't have much time to do this... It's just one of those... lol

This seems to be KFP 2 all over the place again. Gotta say, not Hans' best year. However I expect great stuff for Batfleck vs. Steelman next year.

I like the "Escape" track. I wasn't impressed by the samples, but now I hope it will be at least a nice score.

Yeah, it feels like a lot of Hans' minor/really-someone-else's projects all piled up in 2015. There's not one score that feels like he did the heavy lifting.
Next year, though, we get Broodman vs. Superjoyless and Inferno, two pretty huge projects (the latter of which I'm looking forward to much, MUCH more). And the enigma of KFP3, of course - should be a fun one, regardless of who actually writes it.

Maybe doing Interstellar by himself last year was just too much... :P

Have to agree, however Chappie was insanely cool, I'm still listening to it a lot, liking it more and more.

I like the Escape cue a lot, hopefully the rest of the score reaches the level of it.

"This seems to be KFP 2 all over the place again."
Think Hans did more of that one than a lot of people think.

@NM I'm sure he did as much as Powell on that. Still, his part wasn't the "heavy lifting" like Edmund said. Though, I will like this score a lot. Btw, is Escape confirmed to be mostly Hans? It's really great.

It's not HZ who didn't do KFP 2, it's Powell who jumped ship !

I went to sleep after reading Hybrid's comment. I had a dream of John Powell, dressed like Captain Jack Sparrow, giving a malicious grin, and jumping off the badass Viking ship from Dragon, as the ship got swallowed by a giant Po's head. Then I realised that Captain Powell and the ship are actually tiny, and are in Po's noodles, and saw Captain Powell climb off Po's bowl, and run away.

Zimson, "Escape" has to be Hans' work... It's like "Celebrate the Oscars - Take 2." lol
