Even then, I feel like its still irrelevant to post the titles for it does us no good and it will be posted here eventually. But whatever I guessJust realized I’ve been calling the movie “Windows” instead of “Widows”.
Ugh it’s been a long day -_-Just took a look at the trailer and am really impressed with how the film looks, not what I was expecting at all. I honestly don’t know what approach Zimmer will take either, although if I had to guess probably more sound design-ish.

And outside of “Injection” and “Bare Island” I find MI2 to be bland and all over the place stylistically. Just my opinion though, I know a lot of people love that score ;-)mpolonest123, have you seen the trailer for Widows? Zimmer created the music for that trailer and I assume it came from the movie. If that is the case, it will sound nothing like TTRL.M:I2 is a blast to listen to. I just have a hard time imagine it to be a MI score. But it is one of the most fun scores from Zimmer.

I must say, I am very disappointed from Hans Zimmer. I am waiting too long for the blue ray, it seems like no one cares about that.

Has anyone had any luck getting an autograph after one of his concerts? Going to one soon.

Alexander2017-07-22 00:10:27
I was on three concerts so far and just at the one at Frankfurt some band members came down from the stage after the concert. I didn'f got a autograph but I did photos with nile marr and nick glennie smith. But if you would ask some of the band members I am sure they will say "ok perhaps I can arrange it" would try it this way :)

Who can tell me the new release date of the DVD / Bluray "Hans Zimmer Live on Tour"? Thank you all.

Jim2017-03-12 07:54:38
No one, but Eagle Rock.
Unfortunately, they haven't replied to a single email I have sent them regarding the topic.
Maybe someone can call them on the phone (+44 (0)20 8870 5670) and ask directly?

Armin2017-04-22 20:04:43
I am waiting for this DVD since the concert in April 2016.
I would appreciate any information on this subject.

Jim2017-04-22 23:52:18
We all are...

Personally, I don't think they will release the DVD/Blu-Ray disks before the tour is over. I am thinking of a release in September.

richardsim72017-06-27 12:25:54
Eagle Rock just replied to my email. Apparently coming later this year, but no actual date yet

Vivien, how do you know this? It is stated nowhere that the program is the same.

Vivien2016-12-01 09:09:37
It's very clear on the posters of the show.

Randy Watson2017-04-18 08:59:36
@Alex

The only difference with last year's European tour is that they added the Wonder Woman theme. Rest of the show is identical

Drapier2017-04-18 19:26:15
Hey guys! Could someone explain the difference between the "Hans Zimmer Live On Tour" and the "Hans Zimmer Revealed Tour"?
Thanks!

Jim2017-04-20 13:28:53
@Drapier

Revealed Tour is 14 April - 10 May (US and Australia).
Live on Tour is 16 May - 12 August (Europe + US and Canada).

The shows will be identical, though.

Guys,

2017 seems to be a World Tour !

While checking the Antwerp Sportpaleis site for the June 20th 2017 concert, the french speaking page mentions this :

"Les concerts live d’Hans Zimmer en 2017 commenceront sur la côte ouest des États-Unis et parcourront l’Australie et la Nouvelle-Zélande avant de venir en Europe, d’où Hans et ses musiciens repartiront aux États-Unis pour leur première grande tournée américaine."

Which can be translated by :

"Hans Zimmer 2017 live concerts will start on the West Coast of the US and will travel all around Australia and New-Zealand before heading back to Europe, from where Hans and his musicians will go back to the US for their first big American tour.

Has anyone heard of this ?

Is it a coincidence that the HZ Live website has been shut down? Hmm...

mak2016-11-15 21:05:44
Don't know if this was posted yet but I think this might be an interesting information whether there will be a release or not:
search for "Hans Zimmer Live on Tour (2017)" on IMDb. Unfortunately I'm not on IMDbPro but what I can judge on is that Tim Van Someren seems to have some experience in directing live concert movies. Release date is supposed to be the 14th of February 2017.
I am fortunate seeing his concerts twice. 1st time was back in 2014 where HZ more or less used to start his career: in Hammersmith, London. 2nd time was in Oberhausen this year, which was great because this time I could listen to Prince and Interstellar as well.

I simply can't wait for the release. Highly recommended!

I think they will announce a Blyray/DVD + Audio CD release and a possible theatrical release next year. 14th of February (according to IMDb) + Eagle Rock Productions gives me these thought...
Of course another Live tour next year would be awesome as well. :)

Patrick2016-11-17 17:52:17
I guess, it's "just" the extended Tour 2017. Got an email from eventim (ticket service) today, that Hans Zimmer is coming back to Germany in 2017.

mak2016-11-17 17:52:54
Indeed, in Germany there are two:

Leipzig: Wednesday 24th of May 2017
Frankfurt: Friday 9th of June 2017

makw2016-11-17 17:58:21
Concerts will take place in the ARENA LEIPZIG and the COMMERZBANK ARENA FRANKFURT.

F1-TARS2016-11-18 00:24:09
Seriously if this announcement is for more dates/new tour before any information about the cd/Wembley recording and bluray/dvd, I mean come on, just don't understand the radio silence

Ds2016-11-18 01:22:03
Soooo... the website hanszimmerlive.com lives again! The content is still password protected, but we can see the titles of the pages: "Hans Zimmer Live Europe 2017"!

Brent2016-11-18 03:40:19
It's a long shot, but I'm wondering if we'll get any North American dates... A man can dream, I guess.

ei182016-11-18 05:18:49
Why is he not doing any US shows?

Anonymous2016-11-18 05:42:19
the tour in 2017 starts at the US west coast... ;)

TAKE MY MONEY2016-11-18 09:11:47
Ordered Tickets for Frankfurt to see him again <3 <3 <3

Brent2016-11-18 09:21:32
Both great news and terrible all at the same time! I sincerely don't understand why it's just relegated to Europe. Is it simply logistics? I just hope one day I can actually see this concert live.

NotSoAnonymous2016-11-18 09:22:34
Have fun! Canadian here, just get to keep waiting for the Blu-Ray release I suppose.

Juliano2016-11-18 09:45:54
Got my Tickets for Frankfurt, welcome home Hans !!!!

mak2016-11-18 10:26:34
Crimson Tide back in the 90's brought me to film music. And now HZ returns to his city of birth. Awesome! Got my tickets already! :)

trent easton navarro2016-11-18 11:03:21
Hope it won't be the same show as last year. It was a fun evening but not something I'd want to see again.

Ds2016-11-18 11:22:46
No, it's definitely something I'd want to see again and again and again (saw it 3 times already)... but at the same time I'd also love hearing new material that was left out, such as The Last Samurai and especially King Arthur. And why not a crazy Broken Arrow!!!?

F1-TARS2016-11-18 18:43:45
Well I guess that will put a hold on the Wembley recording/cd and bluray/dvd,
Why would they release this if there is gonna these more dates, kind of explains why we haven't had any information

Ivo reply Replies: 3 || 2016-11-18 15:01:32
Okay, here is some inside information:

Hans has been personally going through all of the edits of the music, which is a great thing, although that slows down the process due to his busy schedule.
Editing will most probably be finished this month and then grading, mastering, publishing, etc has to be done.
The finished product will be out sometime between February and April.

Basically, we have to wait for another 3 months, but it will be worth it! :)

Jacob 2016-11-18 15:44:46
Hmm interssting, but how do you know this infromation ?
And is there any news about the live cd ?

Ivo2016-11-18 16:09:43
Talked with Tim (the director of the show in Prague) regarding the video.

I've no information about the live Audio CD.

Jacob2016-11-18 17:02:48
Ow well thankyou kindly for the information.

Ei18 reply Replies: 0 || 2016-11-18 15:51:55
Tina Guo posted that many more dates will be announced in more continents. Hopefully that means there will be US dates!

Is there any plan for Mr. Hans Zimmer to come and hold concerts in China? you got a lot of fans here in China.

Enzo2016-10-29 03:52:31

Eswaran Rk2016-11-18 10:25:05

Alex reply Replies: 1 || 2016-11-18 09:59:17
Will the 2017 live tour have the same musical program as the 2016 tour? I called the local ticket organizer and they didn't know.

Ds2016-11-18 10:06:47
I guess we won't know about that before the actual tour starts... unfortunately :-)

So something seems to be on hand... the social media pages are referring to the 18th of November... is the hype train finally moving again? 😬

Dfault2016-11-12 13:00:32
Yes Laurens, lets hope so, Im really hyped!

Ivo2016-11-12 14:26:58
Hi Laurens,

Could you please give me some links where 18th of November is mentioned? I couldn't find anything on the topic.

Thank you!

Ds2016-11-12 14:44:57
Go to the official Hans Zimmer Live page on Facebook :-)

Laurens2016-11-12 15:43:14
Yep, on the Facebook, Twitter and Instagram feed of the HZLive tour they posted a picture with the message "One week.", and I think on the facebook page they actually posted a GIF with "18 November" in it.

Ivo2016-11-12 18:10:47
I was looking at the normal page, not "Live" one... :)
Thank you! Guess, we'll have to wait and see what's that all about.

zuhrah reply Replies: 0 || 2016-11-11 01:39:55
please come to ontario!

Laurens reply Replies: 3 || 2016-11-05 16:15:57
Who is actually in charge of the Hans Zimmer Live on Tour social media platforms? Is it Harvey Goldsmith's people, or at least people who know about the CD/Blu-ray release of the show? Because there is zero information about any releases of the show coming from those channels, but there are occasional photo updates (like the "Ready?" one for example from a few days ago). Should we give any weight to those posts (like the people in the comment sections who all seem to be totally "ready" for the CD/Blu-ray release) or are these completely unrelated?

NotSoAnonymous2016-11-05 21:15:54
I saw that post myself and was so confused as to why there is no discussion of a release or any news (aside from fan speculation). The post (to me) seemed to indicate something was coming, but I could see how it could be taken literally; just as Hans getting ready. I get promotion through secrecy, but sometimes that can be un-affective.

mpolonest123 2016-11-06 01:22:32
Perhaps it's possible that rights with other record companies must be covered before releasing an album. That's the only reason I can think of as to why it has taken this long. Having seen the concert in person, I am dying to hear the music again in good quality.

Laurens2016-11-06 22:52:57
Exactly! I didn't mind that they kept things under wraps for quite some time because they indicated clearly that it was on the way soon. But then only silence happened and the attention is dwindling. At this point I feel like they should at least mention something about it - whether the release is off or postponed for a long time. Everything is better than posting some pictures with suggestive texts without mentioning the elephant in the room.
