Where did you get this information and samples?Where can I listen to those samples? I would love to hear some bits of the score before watching the movie. The score has 25 tracks and is about 1 hour and 16 minutes long. Samples sound awesome. Great action score with new theme's and variations of the old ones. Looking forward to hearing it in full.Total video game score, circa 98. This is one of those scores -
my first - that you just didn't get enough of no matter HOW many cds they released of it. Hell, it wasn't until 2000 when I finally got the complete score on 2 cds. Sadly, by that time I burned out on it...So rockhound...your argument is that the score is better because the movie is worse? That's a new one, gotta admit... :D

to Armageddon, do it! The complete score, if you can. It's incredible!
To Edmund Meinerts,

I admit I never really got the chance to listen to the entire At World's End score. But now you sir got me interested and I will check it out.

Cheers.To rockhound,

With all due respect, sir, that's a stupid statement. Very stupid. Guess you're mad that Rockhound wasn't the main character. How is Willis acting in those scenes bad? He's not overacting, he's not crying-screaming like a little girl. His character is actually very grounded. In the scene with Liv Tyler at the end, he is actually watching a picture of his real daughter. It makes it all the more real. He's very quiet and the performance is realistic. Nothing over-the-top. And people absolutely love that scene. Go to YouTube and read all the comments under the video. So, having said all of that, what exactly is your problem with it? You want him to go all crazy emotional like Nic Cage in Face/Off? Is that it?King Arthur is the perfect example. A terrible script but a great scoreAfter I saw the movie....very great movie & very great scores, better than the first scores!! And the theme for Poppy is also very good!!Well there's also the track where Izzy's transformers dies, a few action tracks not included that I'd be interested to hear, but you're right, the track I'm most interested in is We Have To Go's film version. The extra strings in the small excerpt where Megatron's arm gets cut off, and the ones added to the main theme really give the song a more heroic and intense tone.
Yep. These tracks are amazingOnly tracks that come to mind that aren't in the OST are a variation of Seglass when introducing Edmund, and the film version of We Have To Go.

Hell, the OST has more music than the movie.Daniel Pemberton seems like a twat.I own the CD and I agree there are times in the score where it's so bombastic it distorts your speakers.

Still, I felt this was a great score from Zimmer. It was peak Russian sounding chorus time for Hans and the action cues were better than other scores of this time like The Rock.i think Armageddon is better in covering of all emotions than Pirates III, because there is one more thing the music has to do in Armageddon....covering bad acting. without the music, all emotional scenes with bruce willis would have been a joke. he acts really bad in these scenes, but the music works wonders.
Lol. Anyone can write up a bunch of random slate numbers. Nice try.Armageddon is great fun, but I can think of plenty other scores that cover that spectrum of emotions. At World's End certainly does, and then some.Someone who know the LINK of the complete Soundtrack can Post it here? Thank U

Ps. Can't wait to hear it!!mmmh not for me, even The Peacemaker or Deep Blue Sea (both ****) are superior than this one! (Iíll give it a *** 1/2).THIS, ladies and gents, is the greatest MediaVentures-RemoteControl score. No way you can convince me otherwise. lol! No seriously, even The Rock and Crimson Tide are inferior. The Armageddon score has it all, breathtaking and epic action cues, powerful dramatic cues, adventurous pieces, comedic cues. It literally covers the entire emotional spectrum. What other score can do that? Think about it and you'll see that I'm right.

Cheers,

B.

Finished with my first listen and I'm loving what I heard. Normally 80+ minutes tend to drag for me... not here. The music is consistently strong and Wallfisch is able to do something most horror composers fail at; keep the horror underscore interesting. I tend to normally get bored with horror scores when they pull the same tricks, but I found myself genuinely unnerved with the vocal effects he throws in.

As for the themes, while there are definitely no competitors for ACFW they all work extremely well. Especially when they allow for big moments of wonder or softer emotion. I'm really loving this one, not quite as much as Wellness but definitely in the same ballpark.

And am I crazy or is that Richard Bellis' theme from the miniseries in "Its What It Wants"?

The samples sound great. Blood Oath's going be a favorite. Sounds like an emotional score.

If it's anything on the same level as A Cure For Wellness then bring it on!
