Harry gregson williams will compose mulan ??!!!!! Come on this is blowing my mind. I truly hope for hans zimmer or other great composer like desplat or silvestri. I wanted hans to score a master piece like last samurai. But no offense to harry. He is good and more than good but disney live action like mulan really wanted something special that i think the right guy is hans !Hans will cowrite the score together with Faltermeyer... :) ;)It's meHello?Great news! Can't wait to see the concert online or Blu-Ray.
Cool that you met Hans! As for Hans doing Top Gun 2, well there's some pleasantly surprising news!Yes!Hollywood in Vienna: Hans Zimmer was amazing! One of the best concerts Ive ever been to! I ended up meeting the man himself after the concert! Amazing programme!

Btw Tom cruise said (in a recorded message that was shown at the concert) that hed be working on Top Gun 2 with Hans! Pretty cool news!Really a fun and nice score from Dom.Any confirmation about Zimmer and Balfe working on the score? Or they just did the trailer music?
good musicIn Itunes.

https:// itunes.apple.com/nz/album /goosebumps-2-haunted-halloween-original-motion-picture/1439 328170Because they each only wrote one theme and they weren't used in this movie. Almost all of the original themes were Hans' anyway, and those were used, so he's credited.Surely there's more original Pirates of the Caribbean themes than just Hans Zimmer, no?! Klaus Badelt and Blake Neely are credited in the others so why aren't they here???the likes of which well never hear outside of the film. our only hope is if someone gets the fyc album and shares it
It was also nominated for interstellar and the film had not yet been shown ... the most important thing is that there can be great music in this movieBeen watching it on the BBC and Balfes score is breathtakingI don't think you want the general public nominating film scores.FYC albums is the thing studios use for these kind of nominations.Especially can't wait for the Mission Impossible 2 mix.

I really like the concert version of it in "Wings of a Film".

MacArthur2013-09-17 01:55:18
Yeah! is it better than this one

MacArthur2013-09-17 01:56:19
Although I like the Rain Man version in the film soundtrack better than the on wings of a film one

I don't know. They're all good. You'd have to hear it for yourself. I do like the 70s/80s rock style electric guitar in the concert version though. Plus the concert version uses real instruments. The score here is just Zimmer working with his synthesizer.

So interesting to hear how Zimmer evolved. His late 80s/early 90s scores were really heavy on the synthesizer, then his mid-90s and early 2000s scores had a lot of big and grand stuff, and then now he's moved away from that into a more "intellectual" style of writing, if you wanna call it that.

Yeah and this was back before he had billions of additional arrangers...

A jazzy , moving soundtrack. Strangely, the limitations of a fully "sampled" orchestration doesn't spoil the "old times "feeling . Superb soundtrack. I still listen to this one very often.

clearly shows zimmers ability to compose music. alot of people say he writes only evil. here is proof that zimmer is capable of writing for any mood and tone of music

Truly, one of the best early Zimmer soundtracks. The music is very lively and it really moves you. Altough it does not contain many score tracks, it is still very enjoyable. With this soundtrack, Zimmer cemented his position as one of the most promising movie score composers at ter late of the 80's and the beginning of the 90's. The End Titles is the best both score and CD track. I recommend this to every Zimmer fan and soundtrack fan alike.
