I don’t care about those. Sure, I hope they get released for everyone who does want them badly, but I personally have zero interest in those. I will say it would also be nice to get Dunkirk and Inferno released at some point as well.last big grail chappie and kfp3? what about tears of the sun? what about beyond rangoon? what about spanglish? This and KFP3 are definitely 2 of my last big “Zimmer Grails”. Some great stuff missing.NOPE!Has a complete/expanded score been leaked?

I have recently watched "Son of God" and was blown away by the music in the scene where Jesus was lashed by the Romans. It's a slower and dramatic version of the main-theme. I was looking to find it on this soundtrack and also in "The Bible", but can't find it somehow?! Is it really not on the soundtrack, or am I just unable to find it? ^^

Please everyone, can you help me to find this cue or isn't it on the soundtracks? Fleming doesn't seem to have done much, and both Dave and Vorlander are credited on the Simulation Pt I.After digging through ASCAP a bit, I found Dave Fleming's and Vorlander's credits on this so here's what I found:

David Fleming:
1M01 Opening (this is a guess as there he is credited on a cue just named Divergent)
3M24 Grab the Rail
4M30 Weapon of Choice
5M56a Simulation of Four's Fears, Part I

Christian Vorländer:
1M03 Lining up for the Test
1M04 Simulation
2M08 Jumping from the Train
3M16 Training Begins
3M17 Tris Sees Tori
3M26 Knife Throwing
3M27 Jeanine at Dauntless
4M28 Tris vs. Peter
4M30 Weapon of Choice
4M31 Climbing the Ferris Wheel
4M32 Capture the Flag
4M38 Simulation / Crow Attack
5M42 Simulation / Trapped Water
5M49 Tris Attacked / Four Saves Tris
5M56a Simulation of Four's Fears, Part I
6M63 Zombies
Tris Takes the Final Sim TestThis album is the best!! I Love the movie and the music makes it.Does anyone know about the live performance of Fallout ?That makes perfect sense and I fully agree with you :p
Science & Religion on the OST is comprised of 4m25a Black Tongue part A and 6m38 God Save Us. Hope this helps!I was never extremely gung ho about any of the films, but I do agree that there feels like a bit of charm was missing from this one. Especially in the tidy way everything wrapped up. I also found the villain to be extremely forgettable, basically a lesser version of Drago. But hey, at least the visuals were great.

And I do partially agree on the score, although I think it is hard to give a fair opinion until the music has actually been released. But while HTTYD1 has all of the best highlights and HTTYD2 (my personal favorite) has the best narrative development, I feel like this one works as a solid score on it’s own. The weakest of the three but still a pretty good score, if that makes sense. Can someone please tell me which parts make Science & Religion and the rest of the Original Soundtrack release?I have to say I'm a little bit disappointed, movie wise and score wise. Although it's a very good score, it seems like all the highlights are when old themes come back. I'll definitely have to check it on album to see if this impression holds up, maybe it's only because I'm overly familiar with those themes, and new ones still have to grow on me (like with litterally every Powell release).

As for the movie, it felt like the charm and beautiful story of #1 have partly been replaced by poor jokes and loads of explosive action. There are moving moments here and there, but overall it left me quite cold.Assuming McQ changing up the crew for newer installments applies to the composers too, I'd certainly like to see someone else take the mantle. Would be interesting to see David Arnold tackle a different sort of spy film, or John Ottman taking a stab at it.

Though if anyone were to return, it'll likely be Balfe, just from all the buzz Fallout got. Would love to see Kraemer again, but the supposed BTS issues make that unlikely.

Jasha's credits from ASCAP are on track 1, 4, 11 and 13 along with the other 3 composers

Hans Zimmer and An˛e Rozman will score Great Bear Rainforest.

"The main title theme for the film will be composed by the legendary Academy Award-winning composer Hans Zimmer, with the score being composed by An˛e Rozman for Bleeding Fingers Music, produced by Russell Emanuel."

From VitalThrills.com

Knight2018-12-18 22:30:42
Let's hope this one actually gets a score release cause 2018 was a lousy year for releases.

Sam2018-12-19 10:21:35
what a shame, this is so typical nowadays: "MAIN THEME BY THE UNBELIEVEAVABLE ALMIGHTY HAAAAAAAAAAANS ZIIIIIIIIIIIMMER (...ohandthescorebyxyz)"

Knight2018-12-19 12:05:02
Well Hans needs to do something during all this downtime :D

Anonymous2018-12-19 14:09:22
The main theme is usually the best part of those productions. It is good that they point it out who wrote it.

Mephariel2018-12-19 18:46:37
While I love to see Zimmer be involved in the whole thing, I am kind of excited to see new names in Bleeding Fingers Music having a chance to showcase themselves. I think this is for the best.

Martan2018-12-23 14:44:21
Cheap . Why does Zimmer lower himself to these projects ?

Knight2018-12-23 14:47:04
Lower himself? You wot m8 it's music

Martan2018-12-26 23:36:37
Yes lower himself .he shouldn’t be wasting his time writing music for project like this.Seems cheap

Knight2018-12-27 00:44:25
Project like this? Soo a nature documentary? Like Planet Earth and Blue Planet II?

Martan2018-12-27 12:15:11
Knight - I did not mean nature documentaries I mean just writing a theme and then farming it out to other people

Edmund Meinerts2018-12-27 15:30:29
aka something Hans Zimmer has been doing since about 1994?

Mephariel2018-12-27 16:46:00
Not sure how writing a theme is "lowering" himself.

Mephariel reply Replies: 1 || 2018-12-22 21:36:54
Just saw the first episode on Netflix. There are tons of music that are not on the album. I wonder if there will ever be a complete release.

Ds2018-12-22 23:27:54
I remember in the first episode, there's a moment with gigantic waves and a massive organ playing. Yep, a complete score would be very much welcome :-p

Knight reply Replies: 2 || 2018-12-02 21:52:17
Anyone know if Jasha's contributions made it on album?
He's uploaded his additionals to his website but I haven't cross-referenced any with the album. (aside from the main theme)

Mephariel2018-12-03 18:18:11
I always wonder about his contributions. Did he leave Bleeding Fingers or just the project?

Knight2018-12-03 18:36:46
According to Dave and Jacob, the composers for BPII were picked via a raffle, so Jasha was likely only kept on the project due to PEII.

Patrick reply Replies: 1 || 2018-06-07 15:24:36
Has the Radiohead-Song "Bloom" with Hans Zimmer been released somewhere in the meanwhile? I just can find the trailer version with background noise and voices

Mephariel2018-06-07 23:15:49
I gave up waiting for it. I think it is never going to be released.

Mephariel reply Replies: 3 || 2017-10-30 08:33:56
Just finished listening to the whole score. It is mostly fantastic. Epic, powerful, and dynamic.

The main theme not as addicting and powerful as Planet Earth II, but better written, a bit more sophisticated, and just feels right for the subject matter.

Besides that, some of the best cues are the ones with vocals like "Surfing Dolphins," "A Forest Awakens," and "Ducks And Currents."

If you are looking for the more of a Zimmeresque cue, check out "Walrus: The Right Piece of Ice," which reminds me of many Zimmer solemn ending pieces like "Home" from The Lone Ranger.

Just as I suspect, the best Zimmer score this year.

Kekec2017-10-30 15:29:57
How much of it is actually Zinmmer's work? Just the main or end title, or did he compose more tracks this time?

...2017-10-30 16:44:46
He did more this time!

Sektor2018-04-04 02:19:23
Any idea what the deep didgeridoo-like instrument is in A Forest Awakens?

Just finished watching the serie today and I'm really sad since there is alot of great material not released in the soundtrack I wish one day the complete soundtrack released for this " the greatest documentary ever" for me.

badbu2018-02-20 11:15:57
it's always the same with hans ;-)

Oscarilbo2018-02-20 17:48:29
I bought a 2CD version. It's, to my experience, very complete.

rockhound2018-02-20 18:02:34
Planet Earth II has a 2CD release, but Blue Planet II?

Balfe2018-02-23 14:58:22
Some good music here but would be so much better if Zimmer hadn't had to homogenize it all again. He is a shameful corporation.

Beautiful score, perfectly fitting. Reminds me a little of 'The Land Before Time' feeling. Really like the theme, subtle but lovely. I also like how there is less tracks and the tracks are longer than PEII with a bit more weight. Too many short cues in the PEII soundtrack to really get into as a whole.

Anonymous2017-11-10 20:05:52
the shorter presentation here was better, surprisingly

Max Potcats2017-11-10 21:59:26
Any news for an official release of the 'Ocean Bloom' song?

Mike (OTM) reply Replies: 7 || 2017-10-30 21:44:15
This score, I have to say, moves me more than Planet Earth II did. Planet Earth II really pushed the "let's have an epic theme," which was fine, but said epic theme was kind of...generic. This theme sounds like more thought was put into it, and it sounds like Zimmer had a bit more of an imprint on this score, too. It's nice to hear some unabashedly melodic stuff from him in an era where experimenting with soundscapes seems to have become his thing.*

*yes, I'm waiting for disagreement on that last sentence... ;)

NM2017-10-30 22:11:32
Surfing Dolphins = Celebrate The Oscars v3? lol

This is a really fun, big thoughtful score and the orchestrations are beautiful.

George 2017-10-30 22:58:52
I'm just curious to know just how involved he was this time. He was pretty busy this year so its hard for me to imagine that he had a lot of time to have serious involvement. Although I hope I'm wrong haha, it'd be a nice to get a melodic movie score from him again. This is great!

Mephariel2017-10-31 00:36:15
It is also worth noting that Jasha Klebe wrote additional music for this score.

I think Zimmer did more this time than last time. Last time, it specifically stated that he only did the main theme. But with that said, I have a feeling most of it was him guiding rather than actually writing much.

Mike (OTM)2017-10-31 00:38:25
George, well, he no doubt did "The Blue Planet." (Watch me be wrong...)

He also, at least, co-wrote a track with Radiohead. But notice that, unlike Planet Earth II, it says, "Score by Hans Zimmer, Jacob Shea, and David Fleming." Planet Earth II had "theme by Hans Zimmer" as a separate heading.

Mephariel2017-10-31 03:55:51
Zimmer definitely wrote "The Blue Planet." In BBC's behind the scenes video, only Zimmer's name was on the cuesheet.

PG2017-10-31 07:27:33
Agreed that this is a lovely score. However, some parts of it sound very Edward Scissorhands to me. The Family Theme in particular.

Marts2017-11-01 04:56:34
Yeah, love hearing some orchestral melodic stuff again - still pretty minimal but I like that. I think the PEII theme fit that perfectly, and this theme does too. Puts you right into the big blue.
