Random thought. The original soundtravk was released on 8th march 2016. Maybe the expanded will be released on 8th march 2018!

Coming soon... I have it and it's amazing

OK, everybody who has it, needs to stop saying how good it and just share it any other way. People are going nuts bevause they don't have this score. And people saying that it's amazing doesn't really help. So please, anybody!

And by the way, we know it's amazing! We heard in it the movie. So stop teasing others if you really have it.

The Code, we all know it's amazing. Question everyone is asking is how did you get it, and can it be found anywhere as of now. Stop teasing

if you guys paid attention, you would know that giving out that kind of information is discouraged at this site. Be patient and be resourceful
I have realized that this tracklist is from the theatrical version of the movie, because in the extended edition, for example "The Desert" scene was longer, and there was more music in it, there is also several scenes that should be before and after "Half A Man". And in scenes like the Superman in the Capitol there was more music.
Also I wanted to ask. What is Quaker Steak & Lube and Ow, My Balls? This are strange track titles.
mpolonest123
2018-02-03 14:04:12
Quaker, Steak, and Lube is the cue when Clark receives the photos of the Bat Brand on the dead body. Ow My Balls is the Superman/Doomsday nuke scene. As to why they are titled that, probably some in-humour from Hans and co.
As for the extended edition, Hybrid said it was unused music that the editors pieced together for the release. I don’t know if Zimmer actually scored any of the extended scenes.
Ahmad
2018-02-03 15:55:33
There's an interview with Hans and Tom where they were asked if they were involved with the ultimate cut and they said music editors are doing taking care of it so it is assumed that HZ and co. only worked on the theatrical cut.
^Too bad. One of my favorite bits is the variation of Lex's theme with the choir when Lois is in the helicopter after being kidnapped. It's so majestic. At least we might get the ending part which should've been included in "Problems Out Here".
JBSO99
2018-02-03 18:27:10
I could have figured out the Ow My Balls one because of where it's placed, but thank you so much for the other one.
So the score in extended scenes is unused music? I hope they release it (or it is leaked) someday because there are some great bits in those scenes, like the bit Ahmad mentioned when they kidnap Lois.
mpolonest123
2018-02-03 18:49:59
If I had to guess (and this is totally hypothetical) Hans, Tom, and/or Steve wrote a sketchbook or series of suites which were chopped apart for the extended edition. There are variations that definitely aren’t in the theatrical cut, and I can’t imagine them being alternates.
Question for anyone whos actually heard this, are the world engine sound effects incorporated in the score like they are in the film?
Medigo
2018-01-22 16:05:54
I am pretty sure they were not incorporated in the film either. You just hear them whenever the engine fires. And sometimes its timed pretty well with the music
Rigby
2018-01-22 16:29:44
I’m talking about the Bruce Wayne Dream sequences (and at the beginning of preparation montage). They use the world engine effect in the background, im not sure if it’s the score or just the sfx
I need this. I need this sooner than later. I know some people have it, and if any of you guys do, you should leak it. But I don't know how to do that

stop begging for free stuff
mpolonest123
2018-01-17 01:33:22
I’ll never understand why people are so rabid about this stuff. Like seriously, at the end of the day it’s just music, it has no real “value”. Don’t get me wrong, seeing BVS and SH2 leak would be awesome, but why lose sleep waiting or begging for it?
Ahmad
2018-01-17 14:14:30
It doesn't matter if it has a real value or not. If I hear the music somewhere and I like it, I want to have it. I want to listen to it without all the sound effects and dialogue.
Now, I personally didn't lose sleep because of it nor begged for it but the idea that we've got a detailed tracklist and the fact that it exists on someone's hard drive but I can't listen to it sucks. I'm not saying they should leak it though. The whole situation is bizarre to me.

2018-01-17 22:50:16
yeah, you are definitely still begging
Olive

"Music has no value" say this to all these artists who have made fortunes by simply opening their mouths to sing or playing an instrument
Ahmad
2018-01-18 01:33:44
Well, call what you want.
Most people here (myself included) would be more than happy to support the artists and the people who worked hard on the music and actually pay for the complete score but unfortunately such releases rarely happen.
Novi

Yeah, film scores are my passion. That's why I want this score so bad. I seriously would pay for this score. See it as begging, frankly I don't care what you see it as. Zimmer changed my life through music. It's my passion. This score means something. Music is value.

Novi - I'm sure at some point youll find this on youtube or something...But why so interested in THIS score? It's really not that great at all, by comparison. Junkie channels Mad Max while Zimmer tries too hard to not redo his Dark Knight themes...

Look, I’m passionate about music as well. And yes, seeing this leak would make me happy. But I also know that there are better things to use your energy on. Wishing for this score to leak, or asking anyone who has it to leak it is a waste of time. It’s going to come out when it comes out, be it tomorrow or a year from now. Hell, there are two of my favorite scores from the 90’s I grew up with that still have seen no release at all. I don’t spend my time worrying about them though, when they come they come.
And as for music having no value, I probably shouldn’t have phrased it like that. I was mainly referring to people who hold on to these sessions and think they somehow increase with age. It’s not wine for God’s sakes. I do apologize for making it sound like music has no point or effect on people. I just think there are more important things to stress over.

And what 90's scores are those?

Timekeeper/Universe of Energy by Bruce Broughton. Being theme park scores though a release is incredibly difficult.

You're completely right. Sorry if I came off kinda idiotic. My love for music got the best of me. I was patient with the Man of Steel complete score, but I was just overly excited for this one. I gotta have more patience
mpolonest123
2018-01-20 23:04:34
@Novi No need to apologize, at the end of the day we all want to see these recording sessions leak. In the past year alone we already got TASM2 and Rush. It’ll definitely come :-)

Don't listen to them, you want this album you can say it as much as you want. I just hope they release the Batman suite along with the release (although i'm sure its just "Men Are Still Good" with three or four minutes shaved off) any album with a suite is what i'm all for!
....
2018-01-21 19:11:40
The bigger question is; how many more suites did Hans record. We know about The Batman Suite, but what about Lex, etc.

Hey man could any of you please help me find the film version of harry transformation from TASM 2 complete score? I got the 3:09 long one but that's the album version
Imagine dragons film will released on 20 and Hans Zimmer will be the composer so any one here know if the soundtrack will be released too on 20(2 days to go)?

I think he's referring to "Believer" which is a documentary following a member of the band researching the Church's treatment of it's Gay community. I didn't know this was even going to be a thing until 10 minutes ago.
Music absolutely has value. Music is about storytelling, especially film music. To me, film music is the most emotionally inspiring music. The songs written by RCP detail the development of characters I hold dear to me. The evolution of Ramin Djawadi's Daenerys Targaryen theme, or Hans' evolving Will and Elizabeth theme or the chaotic theme to General Zod. Music has always had a place in the human spirit.
Idealistic tangent aside, I would very much like to see this album out.
You're absolutely right. Music has no value. To some people it's priceless and it means more than anything to them. If a picture says 1,000 words, how many emotions does music evoke?
The expanded score has leaked somewhere and few people have access to it (I'm not one of them). There is no forecast when the official album will come out.

Yes there was a forecast for the official album coming out. Almost 2 years ago. It leaked in February 2016 when a few people got their hands on the digital release. I was one of them.

Yeah no!

I think he meant the official album. There are no plans for the complete score to be released officially. This is a leak/bootleg. Some seem to have it so it definitely will leak soon.
It's unfortunate that the majority of complete scores are bootlegs instead of official releases that could be purchased.
Surprising. So, Steve and Andrew did more than Junkie on this score and yet he gets the composer credits? How does that work, Hybrid?
Edmund Meinerts
2018-01-08 22:35:23
Not Hybrid, but I know what he's going to say: Contracts! ;)
Olive

I'm not Hybrid, but I'll answer:
blah blah blah
Junkie was the second major contributor to the soundtrack of Man of Steel. Zimmer brought him to BvS and the two made an agreement that Junkie would be the one to continue working with Skyder.
He may not even be the author of most cues, but the whole score sounds like something done by him. There is no denying it. And half of the major tracks, those that were released on the two original records, have material composed or arranged by him. So there's nothing to complain about.
Still, did he deserve the main credit? Maybe yes. All the sound with the MoS percussion was produced and conducted by him. And probably the same thing happened in BvS
Olive
2018-01-08 23:01:02
So it is difficult to understand these credits anyway. These cues where there are shared names like HZ, SM, AK or HZ, BW, JXL., sometimes I imagine as a team work, or a crude demonstration produced by Hans and improved by (put the name) guy, or, still , that all this is taken from a suite like in TDKR, or that they are 80% originals ideas of these men produced with the material that Zimmer makes available. Anyway, it's a puzzle. Sometimes it's best not to stick to it too much.
Ian
2018-01-09 09:32:22
^ My intuition is that Hans did some of the big cues/suites alone or with minimal help (the credits reflect this), and then oversaw the rest, with Steve, Andrew, Ben mostly generating variations of Hans's work. It's honestly not at all clear to me what Tom did here, other than The Tower Falls (which is just a variation of Arcade).
please can anyone tell me how i can listen to this....
Qor
2018-01-08 15:47:40
I don't believe it has leaked yet. Whenever it does, i think a simple google search can lead you to it :) i'd very much like this Expanded Score as well...
I think people will receive the score more favourably if they listen to the expanded score. I thought the exclusions they made for the regular were odd, and the choice of songs for the deluxe were even more head-scratching (I'm looking at you, "New Rules" and "Vigilante").

Also, are these track titles for real? 46. "Ow, My Balls". 49. "I Love You, Muffin" wtf? Hans came up with these titles?
Ahmad
2018-01-02 12:51:18
LOL yeah what's up with that? :D I mean one of Dunkirk's cues was named "Sauerkraut Sauce" so anything is possible.

I’m still puzzled about 22. Quaker, Steak, and Lube. What is that?
As for the complete score, it’s nice to hear more fleshed out variations of each theme as opposed to the album, which was lacking imo. My favorite is definitely the Krypton/Luthor counterpoint in My Blood.
