there are plenty of early HZ scores that sound as bland as Lorne's early scores@Ian<br><br>I am in a moment of procrastination before dawn ... I believe you also have nothing more interesting to do than post here at the moment. I give my word that I will not be here for many hours!<br><br>@Miguel<br><br>I know, I understand and I have no problem with that.<br>Everything I wrote so far was against it:<br><br>"THE MAJORY of Zimmer's films in the last 15 YEARS..."<br><br>We know this is only valid for 5 projects (KFP3, Sherlock, Inception, Frost/Nixon and TDKR).Really ?if he didn’t contribute so much he wouldn’t be given “producer” all the time.He does a lot so that’s that. You are now resorting to searching on google on Balfe !havent you got better things to do than try and prove your uselessness point!Come onOkay, I'm a "hater" for not agreeing that Balfe is responsible for half of the music composed for Transformers, Inception and etc. I'm happy for this. Good night!
I do not know how I fell here, but a 2002 Interview...<br><br>www.scotsman<br><br>.com/lifestyle/<br><br>culture/music/theme-perks-1-622232God not again.Haters give up.This!@Miguel <br><br>How are you so sure of that? Mazzaro is credited as composer in almost every BvS cues. He and AK have had massive appearances in Inferno, Chappie and even Interstellar... Other composers were also as important as Balfe in Pirates, Da Vince Code, Rush, Lone Ranger, The Holiday, King Arthur... I do not deny the importance of Balfe in Inception, Sherlock and The Dark Knight (along with JNH, Jackman, Wesson and Djawadi), but point out that he was co-composer in almost everything done by Zimmer in the last 15 years is overkill. He was there, yes, but he was never alone. There was a team of RCP guys with him and Zimmer."Captain Philips for Jackman.Ironman for Ramin ....."<br><br>Correction : Captain Phillips for Hans, Iron Man for Hans. :P
Would love to hear Hybrids opinion ?????sure he can educate you with the facts@Miguel<br>Lorne has not worked on every Transformers film. He worked on TF 1 and 2 only. Maybe you should educate yourself before accusing everyone who questions you of being uneducated.Sorry but those three composers you mentioned have never contributed 50/50 to every score the same way as Balfe has.Boss Baby is the closet and unfortunately they needed Conrad Pope to actually come in and write the most memorable cue . Balfe on the other hand has been a major co composer even though for some reason like on Sherlock Holmes not get a co-credit.And, frankly, I do not see any problem in Balfe working on the scores of these composers. To say that he has full responsibility for the end result is the same that to say that Mazzaro, AK, or Aruj made up more than 50 percent of his previous and current scores. What we know to be nonsense, mainly in the RCP territory.I do not think it has been "uneducated". I even stated the same thing as you in the comment below posted on this same page on february fourth...<br><br>Here it is:<br><br>"I see that people have always directed some expectation to Lorne's involvement in Zimmer scores and even credit a part of their success to his "Phantom Hand" (in the end he was Zimmer's most enduring assistant, losing only to NGS, who worked with him his entire life in the most different roles). Considering all this is a bit normal to see some people rooting for him every time his name is announced to do something. That's nothing new. One part of the public reserves a certain curiosity about the newest composer who came out from under Zimmer's wings. Many of them had very high expectations about Geoff's PoTC 5 and WW by RGW. And that feeling was shared on the most different internet discussion sites."
Olive - it totally is unwarranted. <br><br>Your points are very un-educated .<br><br>Ask yourself this .... why has Balfe worked on every Transformere film ?The Majority of Zimmer’s films in the last 15 years and according to ASCAP been an equal composer .Captain Philips for Jackman.Ironman for Ramin .....<br><br><br>Okay, I'll wait for the more detailed credits in the release.Yeah, Mazzaro and AK would be more interesting choices, even Balfe.<br><br>Maybe Zimmer has more confidence in Wallfisch? He delivered Verbinsky's "Cure" gratuitously for him and then tied him up on two of his major projects last year.<br><br>When I refer to security, I talk about the "assurance of delivering a good job".Olive - wrong.Balfe has said it is used in the film on Twitter.Geostorm is fun, with a nostalgic nods to the old MV scores.<br><br>And much better than 12 Strong

Well, the fact that Djawadi was not mentioned in the credits confirms that Balfe had not used the theme written by him, right?

Brian2018-02-25 22:07:55
Olive - wrong.Balfe has said it is used in the film on Twitter.

Olive2018-02-25 22:24:06
Okay, I'll wait for the more detailed credits in the release.

Where did you get the tracklist ???????

...2018-02-25 18:19:18
where got you did tracklist have been?

ThePhantasm 2018-02-25 18:30:00
Damn the tracks are really short, i was hoping for some long epic music. Hopefully he'll deliver on the epic (I'm sure he will)

Edmund Meinerts2018-02-25 18:40:10
"Shatterdome Attacked", at least we'll get one 7-minute action cue...

Also. TRACKLIST YOU GET DID WHERE???

ThePhantasm 2018-02-25 19:36:20
yeah that's just one though. We'll see!! no info on a release date, on lornes twitter it says it's coming out very soon.

Edmund Meinerts2018-02-25 20:48:24
A lot of the time when a score's final action/battle sequence is split up among several tracks I edit them together into one track myself in Audacity. The most recent example was Black Panther with "The Great Mound Battle/Glory to Bast/The Jabari, Pt II". And my edit of the final battle music from King Arthur runs nearly 15 minutes. Maybe something similar will be possible for the last few tracks of this score.

Three tracks from Milan Music

Weird, really weird

...2018-02-21 17:13:20
that second one, it looks like that some idiot put one tracks two times there so it sounds pretty bad

mpolonest1232018-02-21 17:31:43
Why does Shao Industries sound like CLU from Tron Legacy?

...2018-02-21 17:47:42
This sounds fan made tbh...

MrZimmerFan2018-02-21 17:56:11
Is strange, is fricking strange.

Dosen't sound like a score for a giant monster-robot movie, at all.

Now, i would love hear Paseano or Djawadi

George2018-02-21 18:31:55
Hybrid, do you know if these are legit? Shao Industries sounds okay but the "main title" track sounds... well.. weird, almost like something is wrong with the upload

Georg2018-02-21 18:48:10
If they messed up the upload, then I don't think it would sound quite as strange... the first 20 seconds sound intriguing until the off beat drums come in and it sounds like crap from then on

Iamtommie2018-02-21 19:52:25
I'm sorry to say. But it sounds awful. If the whole score is going to sound like that I won't buy it

Ian2018-02-21 21:36:51
Tracks are gone, so yeah, I'd guess they made a mistake somehow

Max Potcats2018-02-22 10:57:56
Is it real tracks? Because the YT channel deleted the 3 videos... I guess it must be a fake.

MrZimmerFan2018-02-22 11:48:50
I don't think a discography like Milan post fake tracks.

There is must something wrong

Balfe2018-02-22 14:54:09
I would not be surprised if this was done by Balfe finally trying out his real compositional skills outside of him just acting as Hans' copy assistant. Everything that Balfe has done on his own to date is abysmal (okay The Lego Batman movie had some flair but that was probably done by the next generation of assistants).

Please go back to Ironclad and listen to Balfe before he was HBalfe, to hear his skills. Not very good, right? The man is an arranger not a composer.

This score will be utterly crap or it will sound like Tron and Transformers.

Shame as Del Toro and Steven Knight work with real composers like Max Richter who would have excelled here.

Lynk reply Replies: 3 || 2018-02-09 11:35:31
I am getting a stronger Power Rangers/Transformers vibe from this cover art than what I recall from the first Pacific Rim movie.

because it's a transformers knockoff

MrZimmerFan2018-02-09 14:12:44
And what makes you think that?

Everan2018-02-09 17:30:43
The Jaegers clearly transform into giant planes and cars. Duh

JBSO99 reply Replies: 2 || 2018-02-09 11:20:41
Wasn't John Paesano going to do this? Why he ended up not doing it? I think Balfe is a good choice for this movie but I would have loved to hear Paesano's work on this.

Anyway, I hope Balfe keeps the main theme from the previous movie because it was amazing. I think is one of Djawadi's best themes (at least in movie scores)

Edmund Meinerts2018-02-09 12:27:10
One positive development of the switch from Paesano to Balfe is that I think it's much likelier we hear more of Djawadi's themes from the first Pacific Rim. A fellow RCP member would be more inclined to keep it in the family, so to speak.

MrZimmerFan2018-02-09 12:48:12
Paseano recorded the score last fall in Vienna, the producers dropped out.

As much like Balfe, i would like hear the Paesano's score.
