Rupert Gregson-Williams stated on his twitter page that it will be released the 14thSupposedly there is some Joseph Bishara music for the “Trench Sequence”. For anyone who has seen the film was this something original or was it music tracked in from other Bishara scores?Any news on the release date? I've seen both the 14th and 21st. No word from Watertower makes me think the 21st might be the actual date.OK. Aquaman is a great film with some flaws. Momoa, Heard, Wilson, Kidman & Lundgren are very good. IMO the movie has a rocky start, but from a certain scene the movie takes flight and never comes down.<br><br>Gregson-Williams' score is awesome I think. It sounds like a mix between BvS, WW & BR2049 with some gituar, drums & piano here and there. Very curious what kind of release it will get.<br><br>For me Wonder Woman is still the best DCEU movie but Aquaman isn't far behind!!! Solid 8.8Yeah I figured 1m1 would be Main Title.....
The "problem" with The Hobbit scores came just on the first movie and just because it changed from being 2 movies to be a whole trilogy. So... the "punch" points had to be changed on AUJ, meaning that very subtle moments had to be now enhanced every way possible specially by the score so you have much more dramatic emphasis than you had it before, because now you're gonna end the movie MUCH MORE sooner that originally planned. <br><br>Nothing to do with Jackson not liking what Shore did. Shore even had the same themes that were ultimately used in the final film, they just were more subtle... even the wrongly music known as "wraights theme" when Throin charges against Azog (which is actually related to all agents of Sauron) was used there by Shore before the changes, just again, the connection was more subtle when that was not going to be the climax of the film.Booklet info: https ://imgur.com/a /D2vY6FmThis is my most anticipated score of 2019. The two previous ones were great and I hope this one is even better.<br><br>Cannot wait! That's a great news!Alita ia going to be release by Milan Records
Can't freaking wait for this. The series ends with a bang!Coming soon !So this is basically a Mazzaro scoreIt's great but sadly it's only used in the end credits :-(<br>I suspect it might have been an alternate version of the opening scene.<br><br>Anyway the rest of the score is absolutely stunning, a good balance between heavy action and themes (and incredible choir). A new high in JXL's career, let's hope the OST release does it justice.get this a cd-release too<br>
Don't forget the pointless changes like the opening title music for AUE being replaced with an E Major version of The Shire and Gandalf's Farewells for some reason. Or temp tracking earlier pieces of the film in for later scenes.Tom just released "London Suite in C Major" on his YouTube channel, and I am really loving it. He's usually hit-or-miss for me, but this cue in particular really intrigues me. Sounds like he merged the orchestral sections of Fury Road with the flighty ballads of Hollywood Golden Age music.CD Release? Will there be a Blu-ray release for this as well. I had heard that the Hollywood in Vienna award show that is essentially the same set would get a Blu-ray release.Especially in the first one, there's a ton of LOTR themes needledropped even though Shore wrote original material for those exact scenes that you can hear on the album, and also there are themes used in scenes where they don't belong at all. Oh and the main theme of the first one and a couple of the secondary ones completely disappear from the second and third movies

Hybrid, is Zimmer's Scoring the Drive going to be available on itunes/Amazon, etc.?

Mike2018-08-22 05:03:23
Interesting track... Though it kinda just sounds like Hans threw Celebrate the Oscars, Living Football, and the Volvo Prologue into a blender. lol. I think the Volvo V90 Prologue is still the most engaging thing he's done like this.

another imitation game from Zimmer:

the first five notes of this theme (that's the most integral part of the theme anyway) is a DIRECT COPY of Andrew Lockington's Atlantis theme in Journey 2. You can find out here:

### EDITED ###

sad:(

Edmund Meinerts2018-06-11 13:52:09
Ha, I noticed that as well, but I doubt it was intentional. Besides, that Lockington theme itself is kind of reminiscent of Trevor Rabin's National Treasure...Originality is overrated anyways :p

Well, the link is DELETED why is that? Did i violate something? Is freedom of speech is no longer tolerated here in this site?

Sad :(

Because your link was to a page where is written "I do not own the right of the music". So the guy that did that, did something he is not allowed to and clearly knows it but did it despite all.

I think you gave enough information on the piece you want to speak about for those that want to check to listen it.

Aldan, what you hear depends of what you love.
Personnaly, I hear the Final Fantasy 7 Main Theme Notes... But the style, the arrangement and this build-up construction is totally Zimmer.

Disappointing to see Zimmer write music for such a corrupt organization, but oh well :p

Hybrid Soldier2018-06-09 20:14:41
Oh yeah because film studios are so much better...

lol

Hey circle jerking bots, this is a discussion forum. Every fucking comment is pointless. This is a place for people to discuss and give opinions. None of this is necessary for society.

By the way Hybrid, do you know how long it's going to take for the new site with accounts to be made? These bots really ruin the discussion and grind every conversation they're in to a halt.

The reason I'm sure they're bots or spam at this point is because they always do nothing but praise Zimmer and Lorne Balfe, no other composer, and half the time their comments are completely unrelated to the discussion. Just a chance to go after only Edmund (for some reason), or praise things with generic comments like "EPIC EPIC EPIC" or "Great to hear big themes".

Backbiter2018-06-10 17:06:48

I never understood the attacks on Edmunds's comments. Is everyone so braindead that they can't conceieve the fact that someone has a different opinion?

Maunsel2018-06-10 18:35:47
Zimmer does FIFA ! WOW now I will watch football
Hope he plays this life on the tour

Medigo2018-06-11 10:12:44
Sometimes a comment is made where I wonder what it even adds.

But Edmund is not really a problem. That 'Lorne bafle' guy on the other hand

Hans Zimmer composer of the Battlafield V??

Mike (OTM)2018-06-10 21:20:38
Same question! Is this confirmed?

Mike (OTM) reply Replies: 1 || 2018-06-09 03:11:41
Did Lorne actually co-write this one, or are the credits messed up, like with the Volvo prologue?

Peter2018-06-09 08:26:21
Great to hear big themes again from Zimmer

Awesome tune! Hearing HZ on lively, melodic and memorable music is always a treat. It doesn't really have the sort of "sports vibe" that I thought it might have given the title it carries but I absolutely adore how it has me picture "progress" and "achievement" in my head.

Andreas2018-06-09 01:49:26
I love football and love Zimmer.

An amazing piece of music that reflects my passion for the sport

Bravo
