I have a playlist on Spotify that I listen to while reading my books and I had “It’s Complicated” track from “The Holiday” movie and other tracks from this movie on that playlist and enjoyed listening to it very much. But it’s been a few months that it has become unavailable on Spotify and I don’t understand why since other albums are accessible from Hans Zimmer except for this album, there’s only one track available in The Holiday album. I’ve contacted the Spotify for help but they said it has nothing to do with Spotify. I really like that track and I’d be grateful if it became available again. Thank you for your amazing music!@Hybrid
Snyder said on Vero a while back that the score was fully complete. Did Tom record with an orchestra or was it just the demos?

I have a good feeling we’ll see Snyder’s vision sooner or later, it seems like the push from the fans/celebs has genuinely had an impact.Don't remove this page. The score itself is competent, and I think this page should stay up to remind us of the garbage fire this film was.it doesn’t play chronologically?Anything New about the tracklist ?
Ramin's the only factor that's been consistent all throughout these shows whether its Game of Thrones or Westworld,he has constantly amazed every time.You're right Hybrid, remove this page, this abomination don't deserve a place here.No problem.Thanks so much!!!Nope, all you need is to go here:
https:// www.ascap.com /repertory#ace
Stupid question, but do you have to pay to gain membership into ASCAP before seeing cue credits?Correct.Thanks! Just credits, though, I presume - no music files/sound?Dumb thing to rumour but okay...So Pinar Toprak didn't work on the Wonder Woman cue after all? That rumor was all over the place...
If the time ever comes ;(I should remove this page.

This infamy doesn't belong here. Love you Geoff but sorry... lol

I'll rather add the page for Zack Snyder's Justice League, when the time comes, hopefully...Composer credits for this:

Danny Elfman, T.J. What a great surprise! Actually, all the themes are being updated every week. Ramin's stealing the show again!Greetings! I have a question regarding the placement of certain cues. Here, "Mycroft Is Nude" is placed where it plays in the film. However, on the sheets, it's shown as being after "Paris Bombing Investigation." Was the scene originally supposed to be later in the film? I'd be curious to know.

It says here that the release date is in the 13th and not 11th, maybe the outlets got it wrong or it got postponed?

Looks to be.

Thought it would be the case that Beyonce gets first rights to releasing it.

Initially I was against Hans remaking arguably one of his most famous scores, but seeing the trailers and marketing have hyped me up very much. As much as I can’t wait to hear the classic themes, I’m interested to what new material he’s going to bring to the table.

I also wonder if any of the sub-themes are going to be left out (Scar/Hyena motif, Timon & Pumba’s Theme)

Iamtommie442019-07-03 00:10:17
Well, I hope he builds on them and explores them more, like Alan Menken did with Beauty And The Beast!
1 week till the soundtrack. 2 weeks till the movie. Very excited!!

Why the devil would you not want Hans Zimmer to compose one of his masterpieces? The music needed his touch and beauty. I would have been absolutely pissed if another composer took on the work of The Lion King.

DT-20172019-07-07 10:15:05
Because his style is different now than it was in the 1990s.

Debney could have done well (he's Favreau's go-to composer and worked with him on The Jungle Book). Having said that, if he's going back to a score odds are he's revisiting that style anyway. I'd definitely be interested to hear it not least because unlike the 1994 score this one will be mixed how he wants it from the off.

mpolonest123 2019-07-07 17:21:53
@Josiah
The Lion King seemed to be a very personal score for Zimmer, so seeing him tackle the same project does have me a bit nervous. Not that I don’t think he will deliver a great score, but it will def. be hard to capture that lightning in a bottle twice.

Also, I’ve personally not liked any of these Disney “Live Action” remakes from the past few years. “The Jungle Book” being the only exception. This looks like it’s going to be following the trend of doing a shot-for-shot remake while adjusting some scenes/songs with small additions.

superultramegaa2019-07-07 18:53:19
Yeah, I really don't see this score being anything worth talking about in regards to Zimmer. It's probably going to be forgotten soon afterwords, unless Hans somehow pulls off some really impressive orchestral writing that surpasses the original.

Jsdamian reply Replies: 0 || 2019-07-03 18:00:32
Does anyone know the duration of the songs? What is clear is that the mysterious song is a song created by beyonce, lebo and zimmer

I really am gonna wipe manly tears again when Stampede hits, aren't I? :(

superultramegaa2019-06-29 17:48:15
Well, as long as Hans doesn't re-orchestrate it to sound worse.

I'm posting here after goodness knows how long, but there couldn't be a better occasion. This is my most anticipated score of the year and I cannot wait to hear how HZ has adapted his classic melodies here. I really hope they do release a Deluxe edition with the rest of the score at some point.

DT-20172019-06-25 11:08:07
Out of the scores I've been looking forward to this year, I can say that I've already had my most anticipated :P

I doubt we'll get 'all' of the score. IF a Deluxe Edition happens it will probably have some suites on it. I do wonder what this will sound like.

Ravi Krishna2019-06-25 16:10:24
I guess so. I wish we had gotten something like the soundtrack of the Beauty & The Beast remake, which had the second CD devoted to the score alone. But I understand this album arrangement. I hope the tracks are long and score portion runs at least 45 minutes. Can't wait to hear the stampede and final battle tracks in particular.

Mephariel2019-06-25 16:24:41
That is what I am hoping for as well. Long tracks. I think if each track is at least 5 mins long, we get at least 45 mins of music. I suspect the last 2 or 3 tracks will be closer to 10 mins long.

Love to know what scene "Rafiki's Fireflies" & TBA will be. So excited for this score and movie. Bought my tickets yesterday!!

DT-20172019-06-25 12:47:32
Rafiki's Fireflies is probably the scene where he 'marks' Simba in his tree.

As for TBA, it's the Beyonce song so it's possible Beyonce insisted that she gets to reveal it or release it as a single first.

DT-2017 reply Replies: 0 || 2019-06-24 23:24:10
An interesting album arrangement given the 1994 album arranged the tracks into suites and it seems that's not happening here (and we all know how much hans loves his suites). Seems like it's going to hit every major note that the previous Legacy set does and then some.

Does this mean that He Lives In You and Mbube are not new recordings, or at least not entirely new recordings?

Hybrid, I counted only 9 tracks from Zimmer. Is this the complete score or will there be a separate album with more music?

Probably not.

Hybrid did Hans do everything the same? or is there any difference in this score? Yes or no :D

Mephariel2019-06-24 20:15:43
The movie is like 30 minutes longer than the original so I don't think it can be the same all the way through.

D A R T H2019-06-24 22:53:56
it's a complete new recording
