You may be right, but I actually think Jackman did a pretty good job with his scores this year. I enjoyed Jumanji, and i may be in the minority here but i actually really enjoyed Kong as well. I tend to think he and Margeson just have a great collaborating chemistry because those Kingsman scores are two of the best scores either one of them has done.I hope he does a better job than in WW. I like the main theme, but I'm not much of a fan of the RGW score. The most striking moments of it are those in which it mentions King Arthur or The Last Samurai. Finally got around to watch this - heavily underappreciated- sequel, and listening to its fantastic score I'm almost positive Jackman had nothing to do with it and it was all Matt Margeson's work.

I liked his Jumanji, to be honest, but it "only" felt like Jackman slowly coming to his senses after years of lackluster input (Kong, Civil War, Jack Reacher etc.) - it was by no means a strong, thematic, action packed, masterfully orchestrated score as Kingsman 2 (or the first one, for that matter) was. This alone tells me volumes about the composer-listing shennanigans of this soundtrack. If this isn't Margeson through and through, I will eat my hat and chug it down with whiskey.I completely agree!Lol okay I trust you, its awesome how RGW has broken from the comedic scores and is getting some really good opportunities to create some pretty incredible music
Can't divulge the source. But it's happening.Source???? If true I'm pumped. No more of that Elfman crap lolRup's is scoring Aquaman!I’m talking about the Bruce Wayne Dream sequences (and at the beginning of preparation montage). They use the world engine effect in the background, im not sure if it’s the score or just the sfxI am pretty sure they were not incorporated in the film either.
You just hear them whenever the engine fires. And sometimes its timed pretty well with the music
Question for anyone whos actually heard this, are the world engine sound effects incorporated in the score like they are in the film? How do I listen to this tracklist?Hey man could any of you please help me find the film version of harry transformation from TASM 2 complete score? I got the 3:09 long one but that's the album versionAh, ok. I didn't know that was a suite, Backbiter. Thanks!superultramegaa i think that you are missing The Knight Ship from TF4.
Wow, great collection superultramega! I don't know if there are any of them missing, but with those, there is a 35-track collection. Not bad at all!The bigger question is; how many more suites did Hans record. We know about The Batman Suite, but what about Lex, etc.So digging this scoreI think I can remember all of them for you.

TF1 - Autobots, Optimus, The AllSpark, Arrival to Earth, Frenzy, Decepticons, Bumblebee, Whitwicky

TF2 - Prime, Infinite White, The Fallen, Heed Our Warning, Einstein's Wrong, The Shard

TF3 - I can't remember the album names but for the complete score there's:
Death and Return Suite, Sentinel Prime, Battle Glorious Suite, Battle, Our Final Hope, Megatron in DC, Conspiracy Suite, Shockwave

TF4 - Autobots Reunite, Tessa, Hunted, Lockdown, Decision, Galvatron, (and maybe I'm forgetting a few others).

TF5 - Sir Edmund Burton, We Have To Go, Sacrifice, Purity of Heart, Izzy, Merlin's Staff, Seglass Ni Tonday, VivianCould somebody help me to create a list of all the suites from the five Transformers movies? I want to make a compilation of all of them but I cannot figure out what are all of them. Thanks!

Add Gavin Greenaway here, please! He's playing on the keyboards with Hans Zimmer and Rupert Gregson-Williams. And he was a bandleader on this series of concerts!

Is this album worth paying for? I mean, is it a good recording?

Also, why is John Powell listed as composer?

Zimson2015-01-03 16:08:43
He worked on Thin Red Line

Ds2015-01-03 16:32:41
Yeah, but as an additional composer... And Journey To The Line is 100% HZ if I am correct...

I bought it, the booklet credits Powell as "third percussion from the left", that´s it :-p

The only track on this album that is worth a damn in Thunderbird . I will say that Thunderbird is the best music ever written. It makes me feel as though I were in Apache country.
Wish I could find it on a single track and not have to buy a damn album of junk I do not like.

But I don't understand why they didn't released the whole show.

A very good live album. There is only a few composers who hold a concert and then release it, officially, as an audio CD. This is something special.

Would it be possible to translate the above article in English. It would surely be a great help to all Hans Zimmer fans - however it still transmitts the greatness of Hans Zimmer and his MediaVenture friends with the difficulties of performing live and what not.

Keep up the Great Work both to the best composer and his totally dedicated team!

HANS ZIMMER - Wings of a film

One of the so rare cases where film music is actually recorded and released from a live perfomance. And believe me, it's so good! And with new, different versions of the pieces we already know, and with this tracklisting, nothing can go wrong, can it?
