h ttps://www.youtube.com/watch? v=sekmQqx OhWM

From the developers.

Producer: Hans Zimmer
Composer: Lorne Baffle
Symphony Orchestra: Chamber Orchestra of London
Recording Studio: Abbey Road Studio

Fun theme by Lorne. But maybe at that time he didn’t have that version yet (in his mind i mean)
But... the intensity was crazy!Everything is great, except one thing - he did not add that intense music that played on the train when there was a battle. Well maybe I missed something while listening the album.Zimmer = Lorne is your answer.WAA WAA WAAAAAAAA
What's with the credits here? Howard Shore? No Lorne Balfe?I genuinely was surprised that they went with Richter in the first place.

Literally just came out of the movie and I can’t believe such a dull and generic score could come from the names attached. What happened? Other than that beautiful almost sweeping string theme (that went nowhere) - there’s nothing.
I kept waiting for the music to peak and reach a hundred but it never did.

It’s no Interstellar, no First Man, no Gravity, not even The Martian.Link to said theme? The synth man creating a mostly synthesizer score? what a shock...because that's what Hans does
Main theme is on Youtube. I quite like it. I prefer Hans doing themes like this rather than the stuff he is doing with FIFA.I'm surprised no one is talking about this one, its one of Rupert's best scores imo.Lately I have been listening to the album carefully, and the truth is that I did not quite understand why Hans did not just use a big orchestra instead of the synthesizer. It would have really been interesting to see Ritcher scoring a chase on the photo, although without a doubt his work would not have been anything generic.Richter is a conceptual artist, I love his Leftovers score, but come one, scoring to picture ?

He writes pieces that are used in scenes, not the other way around...

Richter scoring a moon buggy chase ? Hell no... lol you could see from day one it was gonna be replaced...
^ Yeah the edit floating around matches Felix’s almost to a T. Only major difference is

“Our Final Stand - Showdown - United Greece - Finale”

Which is broken up into four separate cues. Realistically you could edit it anyway you want if you prefer the smaller cues. Personally, I like the long suite-like format of this release. Kinda like the album release for “Event Horizon” lol.I hope they at least release Richter's score. My Edit:

01. Rise Of An Empire - Marathon - King Darius - Artemisia - Man To God - War (13:36)
=

M1A Rise of An Empire (09:48)
M1B From Man to God King (03:44)

02. Greek Council - Persian War Plan - Spartan Fight Training - Greek Conversation - Your Commander Is Greek (10:47)
=

M2 Greek Council (03:39)
M3 Greek Conversation (07:06)

05. Suicide - General Bandari - Circle Battle (7:30)
=

M6 Suicide/General Bandari (02:10)
M7 Circle Battle (05:16)

06. Sex - Fire Battle (12:04)
=

M10 Sex (05:36)
M11 Fire Battle (06:21)

11. Our Final Stand - Showdown - United Greece - Finale (16:08)
=

M15-17A Our Final Stand/Showdown Pt.1 (08:19)
M17B-19 Showdown Pt.2/Finale (07:37)I'm not really interested in Balfe's part of work, but it would be a big disappointment if Richter's work wouldn't released.

But I think there's a good chance that movie (and music in particular) get an Oscar nominations, so let's just hope for the best.@mpolonest123 any idea how to break up the really long cues on the complete? it’s a lot of tracks that are made up of several cues

Mr. Hans Zimmer and other fans of his music. I listened to an old song with some great European synthesizing and African beats and the opening lyrics said by a male voice: "Listen to the wind of Eternity....." but for the life I cannot remember the song title and the CD title. I want to buy the CD but without the song title and CD title the music store can't help me. Can anyone remember the song title and CD title? Much thanks in advance. Take care.
