I LOVE True Romance the film and I also LOVE your SUPERB version of Stücke Für Xylophon from Musica Poetica by Karl Orff (IE You're so cool). I do feel that its origins should have been appropraitely credited though...
You're songs in True Romance is beautiful and awesme, cant express my feelings about that movie, the music does a fucking lot! Ill tattoo the same angel that clarence and alabama does in the movie. Thnaks of your music and Quentins & Tonys great skills it's my favourite movie ever.
Which soundtrack is the glockenspeil version of the main theme to True Romance? I have full Orchestral live version but I would love the glockenspeil version (the opening music to the film) Is this the tune known as 'You're So Cool'?
Badlands(1973): "The main theme "Gassenhauer" was composed by Orff's associate Gunild Keetman BASED ON A 1536 WORK FOR LUTE BY HANS NEUSIEDLER! Keetman also did half of the other 4 mentioned above, Orff the other 2. Orff's stated goal for the Schulwerk: "Improvisations which encourage further improvisation". This is precisely what Hans Zimmer did when he PRODUCED (no writing credits on soundtrack CD) 3 pieces loosely based on "Gassenhauer" for the film "True Romance", written by Quentin Tarantino as his tribute to the movie "Badlands": "You're So Cool", "Stars At Dawn", & "Amid The Chaos Of The Day". These are a fine & fitting tribute to Malick, Keetman/Orff, and, yes, especially Nuesiedler - Zimmer did NOT "rip off Orff". Is not imitation the sincereist form of flattery?"
I'm looking for Organ Sheet music for "You're so Cool" any thoughts or suggestions. I'm getting married and want to walk down the aisle to that music. It's such an amazing song! Please help! Thanks!
I love "You're so cool" - it does something to my brain that is far beyond words, absolutely magnificent ...highly emotive and yet deeply satisfying to listen too. I play it to my babies to get them off to sleep ... I have often thought of it as an excellent soundtrack to a montage of someone's life ...love it ...thank you for it

What an excellent soundtrack to an awesome movie. When the film came out I was lucky enough to get the soundtrack CD along with a CD single (PZCD 303 8552012) which only has the 3 Hans Zimmer instrumental tracks, You're So Cool, Stars at Dawn & Amid the chaos of the Day. It is an awesome picture disc and is the pride of my soundtrack collection.
Absolutely love that music you're so cool. Absolutely love the film too, what a classic! The musis reminds me of such happy moments in the film that I well up!! On the beach at the end with the child blub blub!!
