This is a highly underrated album. It's nothing short of a masterpiece, a modern opera. The choir is beautiful, and the choice of gospel for the first track gives it a unique identity, though I'm not sure how well it meshes with the orchestra. It feels a bit off, but will hopefully improve for me on further listens.

The composition, has to me, elevated Powell to the status of the second best living composer (Williams is still first for now). It's pure orchestral beauty and mastery with variety of texture, color, and style, with seamless tonal transitions. The complexity rivals some of the great works of the past.

It's strange to me that this is called "choral works". Sure the choir is an important element, but it really should be named "Hubris Symphony", or "Hubris: The Opera", because that's the status the album deserves.My Attempt at a chronological order with edits (feel free to correct any mistakes or if I missed anything)

1. Change Of Plan (Unused) (5:47)Rogue One is a bit of an odd one. From what I'd heard, Desplat had joined on the condition he'd be allowed to do his own thing and not ape Williams. But once they decided to overhaul the film, they pressured him to go that exact direction. Things stayed still for a while (in which he still got paid) before he was finally let go very late into production. So the idea he sorta just left is interesting, so I'm curious to hear what that was about.

For BW, it seems very likely to me that Marvel simply were unsure about Alexandre's music, so I'm guessing they hired Balfe to do some demos and decided from there. Who knows what the exact timeline is, but I'd wager it'd have to at least be this year if he's been on it a bit. Especially with AD's name having stayed on the posters during it.Hybrid, Desplat left Rogue One just for his own idea? I know he left that movie beacuse schedule conflict for the reshoots.
But for Black Widow seems that the replacement was since months ago with Lorne writing and recording the score at the same timeht tp:// filmmusicreporter. com/2020/04/01/ track-list-for-disneys-live-action-mulan -soundtrack-album-revealed/

Why release a tracklist for an album that won't be released for another 6 months at least. That's just a punch in the gut, in my opinion
So it won't be a last minute and hasty job?No idea but he was on it for a bit, I think.Hybrid, do you know how long Lorne had to score?Score is recorded already.Yup, which makes me wonder if they had to wait before announcing it, considering Desplat was still being listed in posters prior to the delay.
I think Lorne teased this some time ago by sending a picture of researching Russian music on insta (maybe)Hello,

I'm looking for the translation of the song God Yu Tekkem Laef Blong Mi in English of French.

Could anyone help me ?

Thank you !you can't, it's only an info for the complete scoreAccording To Filmmusicreporter.com, it Is true Lorne Balfe Is Scoring Black Widow.

Wow this guy Is the Best, this is the first time balfe scoring an MCU since Iron Man(worked as an additional music). I can't believe that Alexandre Desplat, who is a good composer left the film just like I remember Rogue One. Well, Now i Hope that Lorne Balfe makes a great score just like he does always.Comes out on April 3rd. Keep hearing that the music is very Lion King style.

this is mgbube for fans of lion king complete score I have tested intricate signature application programme as is fruit of my toil on some petition I did not care for and as promised signatures were generated and entered into petition site in rapid succession until sheer speed of application apparently enabled petition site to detect fraudulent application and subsequently delete petition to set things right have apologised in name of hans zimmer site problem has been located and speed of application shall be reduced to more agreeable rate to avoid further irritation and deletion of petition not of our concern shall apply to lion king next thanks mgbube

this is mgbube let me get straight to point I'm fed up with petition as leads to nowhere nothing has happened the progress it makes is ridiculous no one doubts disney corporate monster won't ever release complete masterpiece score of the lion king only because some 900 signatures have been collected stop clinging to your illusions and admit my programme is needed to give boost to aforementioned petition I have spent great time on revising my signature application programme to further obscure the false identities it generates in innumerable amounts by click of a button let us see then my friends how it works this forthcoming weekend am looking forward to overdue application of programme to petition the lion king complete score oh and another thing to all doubters I hold no grudge against you thanks mgbube

Shawn, can you send me a message at the forum? I'll try to help you with the address.

DemonStar reply Replies: 0 || 2008-11-26 00:00:00
Yeah, that's the method I used too. Sadly the mono tracks cannot be made *real* stereo in any way :(

Shawn Chandler-Pa reply Replies: 0 || 2008-11-23 00:00:00
The bootleg tracks can easily be fixed by simply resampling it like 95% of it's normal length. It sounds perfect but... I'd still rather have Buena Vista release it anyway! This kinda score deserves an official release.

By the way, everytime I send my petition to Disney and Buena Vista, it gets sent back to saying the address is incorrect. I don't know where to send it anymore... What do any of you suggest? Thanks!

Dawn reply Replies: 0 || 2008-11-23 00:00:00
The best way to get the original sampling speed is to copy-paste the tracks into empty 48kHz files. It will automatically resample the cues to the correct speed. Then save your file as 44.1KhZ (CD sampling). The other way is to pitch up the cues to 104%.
There must be more information about how to do that in older posts. By the way, there is a "deluxe" version on the internet that was created using the bootleg, and all that resampling stuff had been done on the right cues. You should try to get that one instead of trying to make those operations if you have no knowledge of audio works.

Dawn reply Replies: 0 || 2008-11-21 00:00:00
I'd say everybody's experiencing these problems : score slowed down, mono tracks etc...
This is the main reason why people here are praying for a commercial release.

Toni reply Replies: 0 || 2008-11-21 00:00:00
I have this score (I think) but:
1. Altenate 2 is replaed with a copy of can You feel The Love Tonight
2. The recording sounds like it's been slowed down a bit

Anyone else expereince the same above issues with this bootleg score???

Is a the best compositor

Lone Lion reply Replies: 0 || 2008-11-05 00:00:00
The music is epic , there is no doubt there ... It means everything to us TLK funs ... But it would mean even more if we could hear it ... What irony , there it is , unreleased , doing good for no-one .... Those people simply will not do anything , not even for money , to make this music available for people . Sad .

Lone Lion reply Replies: 0 || 2008-11-05 00:00:00
Me , again .. Sorry about my alternative .. I was a bit angry about their lack of interest in this score .. I realized that few pirate soundtracks will never come close to originals ... So , keep your fingers crossed , we still have a chance ... I hope that that petition will change things ... I hope ...
