HEY Everyone!!!!! La La Land plans to release Speed expanded score on 2/28/2012. It's gonna feature 70 mins of music and presumably the correct track order.
Wow... 70 minutes ? I didn't expect such a length for this score. I only remember 2 missing cues. The "rooftop" cue from the building scene near the opening, and the cue at the end when Jack decides to stay with Annie in the train before it crashes. Maybe there will be demos and alternate music ?
A song by Billy Idol will also be on the album. MV said that's the one what plays during the end credits - I think that will be a cool release - That was one of my first soundtracks bundled with Twister.
Dawn: From what I remember there are also few unreleased variations on the "6 notes action motif" (one in the scene where Jack slides under the bus on the cart and one that plays during the action scene in the subway station) + one very short track that plays when Jack jumps down to Payne's elevator car.
I'm not exactly sure how this is going to extend the official release with another 27 minutes of music, but it's certainly great that they're going to release this! :)
