To whom it may concern...

Is it possible to download or in any other way purchase the Hannibal (Expanded) score somewhere? I have the original motion picture soundtrack, but would LOVE to have them both..

Best regards

Nicholas10 and 16 are missing from the store pack. Most probablyI am not a hybrid, i will try to give my opinion. I think, music in 5 season will come out when and 6 season. But I really want to be wrong!!! :)It's very sad...(((
The 'Allentown Brothers' track is pretty damn awesome (find it on YouTube). It's like a mix between gothic Elfman, Desperate Housewives and Transformers. I love it.

It's one of those scores that people don't talk about much but it's actually pretty cool.

An awesome venue would be the Opera House in Odessa.Want this so bad!!!Does anyone have a breakdown of this with the official score album?
Hats off to Batu Sener for working on many of the score's best cues though!
It all comes to personal preference I think. Personally Iíve moved on from collecting cdís (or anything really) and would rather have everything digital simply to utilize space.

That being said, I completely understand the appeals of having physical media, it would be sad to see that go away for the people who really love it.It's not only to appreciate the work, its to have something "real" in your hands, for your music collection. I don't like only to have a digital music archive. Of course, i rip all the cds i own to WAV and MP3. But i want to have them in my physical music collection. These day, sure. But we usually get news of the next one by the time he's finished wrapping up the current one.Powell only does 1 score a year.Still no news on his next score? Is he taking a break or something? Working on more concert stuff?
Was pleasantly surprised by this one when I first heard it. Outside of the Ďmodern scoringí portions you get some fun noir music for the squad, solid action writing, and even some good emotional cues.

Also gotta love the rhythmic idea from Antz popping up here...Also, the use of the guitars by Jablonsky, are still the best since the 90sI give a spin (almost 4 years after my last listening), it grown on me (still don't consider of the best of Jab), but much better than Skyscraper (ok score) and Battleship (guilty pleasure, but not a good score by any means), i like the style of Jablonsky in this one, his rhythms (but i still don't care about the 'motif' for Cohen or certain sound design tracks like 'You Can't Shoot Me' or 'You Know the Drill')

But still has such cool action moments (Hot Potato With a Grenade) and emotional/romantic moments, and still enjoyed that from this.<3 Buck Takes the LeadHybrid do you know what cues Mancina worked on here? I read in the Twister booklet that the director heard a cue from this and wanted Hans for Twister but he told him that it was actually Mark.

This is just a rehash of the Gladiator CD and the "More music from the movie". If you have those already, avoid this. If you don't have any, get this. (What a waste of a release that could have been a "complete score")

Hans, you are the best! I like the movie Gladiator so much, but these movie is so great only because of your composed music. The best song is "--Now we are free"--. Thank you from germany and Good Luck for the year 2006!!!

Hans Zimmer you're the right guy for every type of score. From The Lion King to THe Prince of Egypt and for epic scores just like this one :D You are the best out there. No competition because you are so original and have created your own style. I really love the mixes you make between orchestra and synths. You are so talented. Now its time to go for the big oscars. I was disappointed when The Thin Red Line didn't make it to the top, but I'm sure that in the nearby future you give us yet again a wonderfull score to enjoy. For me the best scores you've ever produced are The Lion King, Prince of Egypt, Spirit, The Rock, Gladiator, Crimson Tide &-- King Arthur. So Huge with great orchestral writing thanks to MR. ZIMMER. Keep it up for all the work you've produced till now and hope that the new Year 2006 will be the year to remember --)))

I absolutely love the score to this film, but what is the point of this anniversary release? There's nothing new on here except the packaging. I was expecting some new liner notes, maybe a behind the scenes look at the score (something that adds on to the composer feature on the original DVD release), maybe some more unreleased material.

Get this version if you don't already own the score, but otherwise there's no need to buy this particular release.

i loved gladiator and every time i see it its just as thought it were the first time i love the music it really helped to make the movie what it was that being a glorious triumph in cinimatography and musical presentation

jaume reply Replies: 0 || 2005-10-13 00:00:00
I only want to say that i think this is one of the best soundtracks of all times, and i'm sure that it's cause those fantastic mellodies come deep from the hearth, and are made with lot of sentiment. I bought both CDs and i will listen to them like the first time for the rest of mi life.

It's not every day that you can say that one piece of music can inspirate you like 'honor him' does: Wonderfull, lovely, really deep and sublime.

I just tracked Hans Zimmer down today because his "--Zoosters Breakout"-- on Madagascar was one of the most compelling pieces of music that I have heard in a long time. Have been listening to a lot of symphonies lately and am hoping that this will turn into one. It is fabulous.
