Richter is a conceptual artist, I love his Leftovers score, but come one, scoring to picture ?

He writes pieces that are used in scenes, not the other way around...

Richter scoring a moon buggy chase ? Hell no... lol you could see from day one it was gonna be replaced...^ Yeah the edit floating around matches Felix’s almost to a T. Only major difference is

“Our Final Stand - Showdown - United Greece - Finale”

Which is broken up into four separate cues. Realistically you could edit it anyway you want if you prefer the smaller cues. Personally, I like the long suite-like format of this release. Kinda like the album release for “Event Horizon” lol.I hope they at least release Richter's score.My Edit:

01. Rise Of An Empire - Marathon - King Darius - Artemisia - Man To God - War (13:36)
=

M1A Rise of An Empire (09:48)
M1B From Man to God King (03:44)

02. Greek Council - Persian War Plan - Spartan Fight Training - Greek Conversation - Your Commander Is Greek (10:47)
=

M2 Greek Council (03:39)
M3 Greek Conversation (07:06)

05. Suicide - General Bandari - Circle Battle (7:30)
=

M6 Suicide/General Bandari (02:10)
M7 Circle Battle (05:16)

06. Sex - Fire Battle (12:04)
=

M10 Sex (05:36)
M11 Fire Battle (06:21)

11. Our Final Stand - Showdown - United Greece - Finale (16:08)
=

M15-17A Our Final Stand/Showdown Pt.1 (08:19)
M17B-19 Showdown Pt.2/Finale (07:37)I'm not really interested in Balfe's part of work, but it would be a big disappointment if Richter's work wouldn't released.

But I think there's a good chance that movie (and music in particular) get an Oscar nominations, so let's just hope for the best.
@mpolonest123 any idea how to break up the really long cues on the complete? it’s a lot of tracks that are made up of several cuesArtemisia Suite = History of Artemisia
Greek Action Suite = Marathon
Xerxes Rebirth Suite = From Man to God King
Greek Sacrifice Suite = ???
Artemisia’s Childhood Suite = Artemisia’s Childhood
Greek Attack Suite = Greeks on Attack
Queen Gorgo Suite = Queen Gorgo
Xerxes Thoughts Suite = Xerxes Thoughts
Greek History Suite = History of the Greeks
Greek Victory Suite = Greeks Are Winning

Hope this helps! :-)Hybrid can you tell us what album cues are the suites ?!well, from what Lorne wrote on Twitter, it should be releasedCool thanks for getting back! I am still a little bit confused though. Do any Basil Poledouris cues go somewhere in that list? It’s been a very very long time since I have seen the film.
The Hans cues used are :

1M1 OPENING CREDITS / MAIN TITLE (USED FROM 2:18 TO 3:03)
1M2 GOLDEN STAIRCASE (USED FROM 0:00 TO 1:56)
2M2 JACK SEES WOLVES
2M3 BLACK WOLF
2M6 THE TREK CONTINUES (USED FROM 0:28 TO 1:15)
3M1 THIN ICE
3M2 SKUNKER'S DEATH
3M3 FULL MOON WOLF ATTACK
3M3A MORNING WOLF ATTACK
6M4 THE BEAR
6M4A THE BEAR ATTACK
7M3 IN THE STABLE
7M5 WHITE FANG FIGHTS SATAN
8M1 FIGHT MONTAGE (FIRST HALF USED)
8M3 PIT FIGHT (FINAL 20 SEC USED)

All the rest, by definition, is Basil's score...Hey hybrid soldier! You mentioned on the ghost in the shell page about white fang so I came here! Can you give us a list of the cues as they appear in the film please? The Basil Poledouris cues and the Hans Zimmer cues pleaseI imagined it ... hopefully this time Max Ritcher does not give him a lollipop and refuses to launch his musicYes Unbreakable.

Exactly like White Fang. Have Poledouris write a score, then HZ do another, then pick what you want from both.

Ghost In The Shell was kinda different...In the credits of the movie, Max Ritcher appears as the Main Composer, meanwhile, Lorne appears as Additional Music
I find that it would be best to accredit both and launch the two soundtracks and all happy.Hybrid implies that Max Ritcher's score was rejected, and that Lorne made a new one and in the end, the best of both has been used. I am right?ANd now apparently another guy is scoring it as well lmaoTechnically he's a little under 50% used so there's no obligation. But he wrote a whole score for it.but if Lorne has written 50% of the score you should have a credit like in Ghost in the shell

But I'm still convinced that Jablonsky didn't compose any of those themes of MGS2. Besides, he's a failure of composer. Not even Transformers is his best work. He'll never be a great composer and will be behind the shadows of Harry Gregson-Williams, Nick Glennie-Smith and most of all, of Hans "God" Zimmer.

What the!? Solid Snake!!!? Of Metal Gear Solid 2!!!!!!? BY STEVE JABLONSKY!!!!!!!?

No way. Those themes must be composed by Harry Gregson-Williams. Can you tell me where can I find those themes?

PLEASE can someone explain to me these "bootleg" releases? Were these titles never published? Were these edits in in movies or TV shows, but never made available on soundtracks?

Dear Mr. Zimmer,
I am looking now a quiet a wile around to get from Steve Jablonsky the music ("--Trailblasing"--) without any success. I am involved as a volunteer at the Thorpe Camp Museum here in Lincolnshire (UK). Thorpe Camp used to be the base for the Dambuster Squadron during WW2. The Museum, staffed entirely by volunteers, has been set up to preserve the base and to celebrate the life of service men and women and the civilians who lived in the area. As volunteer (I am the Techie) we are creating an Information CD and we would like to include (on the begining -start CD) the "--Trailblasing"-- from Steve Jablonsky. We would give your company full credit for this. If there is a chance that you can give us the permission to use the music . My email Adress is ####
Yours sincerely
Harry Schmidt

Those scores have never been published. The tracks an that selfmade promo are taken from the End Credits of the DVD.

Where does Track 12 come from? These tracks that are listed as "--Heart of an Athlete"-- from ESPN Sportscentury and "--The Big Race"-- from ESPN Sportscentury... are they availabe anywhere?

Antas, Webmaster reply Replies: 0 || 2005-11-21 00:00:00
Track 12 is not from Live from.. indeed

DL reply Replies: 0 || 2005-11-21 00:00:00
Where can I get the music from "--Live from Badghad"--? I have looked everywhere on the web, but with no luck. Also, are you saying that Extract 3 (Track 12) actually isn't from Live from Baghdad?

Levente reply Replies: 0 || 2005-11-13 00:00:00
Well there is a sad thing, the MGS 2 and the Pearl Harbor tracks are not new musics, only it were renamed, and was cut from the original albums. I still don't know how it was known that the music we here on this album was composed by Steve Jablonsky.

Mr Tweedy reply Replies: 0 || 2005-10-30 00:00:00
There are tracks from Pearl Harbor here... are they new tracks, not featured on the regular release and previous expanded scores ? Or juste outtakes renamed ?

Anonymous reply Replies: 0 || 2005-10-11 00:00:00
The cues from LIVE FROM BAGHDAD are "--fake"--. The first two cues from Zanelli's website and the other ones are taken from the DVD.

Angel reply Replies: 0 || 2005-10-08 00:00:00
What the hell are the Metal Gear Solid 2 themes doing on that CD???

Antas, Webmaster reply Replies: 0 || 2005-10-08 00:00:00
I really don't know -- Really curious indeed !!
Does it mean Steve took part on this score ?

Levente reply Replies: 0 || 2005-10-08 00:00:00
Yeah Steve Jablonsky did some of the music of MGS2. According to Gregson-Williams they had a short time to finish the music, since Hideo Kojima asked them at the 11th hour.

Angel reply Replies: 0 || 2005-10-08 00:00:00
Metal Gear Solid 2 score was composed by Harry Gregson-Williams , Justin Caine-Burnett &-- Norihiko Hibino.
I don't recall any Jablonsky participation on that score.
Is this some kind of an omen that Jablonsky WAS HIRED TO SCORE METAL GEAR SOLID 4?!?!?!?!?!?

Levente reply Replies: 0 || 2005-10-08 00:00:00
Go to www.imdb.com or www.soundtrack.net and everywhere you will see his name credited to MGS2.

Angel reply Replies: 0 || 2005-10-08 00:00:00
I see...
If that's the case, I'm dyin' to hear those Jablonsky MGS2 cues!!!!!!!!!!

Levente reply Replies: 0 || 2005-10-06 00:00:00
Hans Zimmer was the score producer.

Anonymous reply Replies: 0 || 2005-10-06 00:00:00
first track sounds like "--hunger"-- or "--ashes to ashes"-- from black hawk down

Levente reply Replies: 0 || 2005-10-06 00:00:00
Funny thing is that the Live From Baghdad's last two tracks were ripped by me. And I put it up on DC++.
