Red Sparrow is one of the best by JNH, no kidding nowRed Sparrow is pretty shitty except for two cues (okay, admittedly two very long cues :p )<br><br>Black Panther wasn't shitty though, nor was Cloverfield Paradox!Yeah, everything is shitty like Red Sparrow ;)Still an astonishing albumHaving already bought the blu-ray, I'm hoping to see professional quality footage from later in the tour, when the vuiuals had been upgraded considerably
It's 2018, everything is shittyLOL so they wanted a score with no themes...Just random stuff against action music....Makes sense.I know this is another random question, but does anyone know who composed the music for Pirates Of The Caribbean Online? There's an album cover that says:<br><br>Music by Hans Zimmer<br>Additional Tracks by New Ages and Amir Baghiri<br><br>But on IMDB it says the in-game music was done by a completely different team of composers. Anyone have any sources, or any validation on which is correct? You guys are hilarious.and that means, tom did the perfect job. they wanted a shitty score and tom delivered. i am sure they would have fired desplat, williams or whoever, just because they would have failed. the task was to compose a shitty score and tom did that. their problem, if nobody buys the soundtrack album or avoid to see the film, just because of a bad filmscore. for us it is great, because we save money.
The fact that the directors insisted on a shitty score doesn't absolve the score from being shitty.Go to JXL's Youtube channel and watch his latest video. He talks about the process of scoring the film. If you have a problem with the score, direct your criticism and complains at the director/producers/studio because JXL delivered the score they wanted. They wanted to stay away from themes and wanted an a very alternative score. If Tom didn't deliver that, they would've found someone else who would've done the job and you'll still complain that it doesn't sound how you wanted lol. <br><br>I've heard a couple of tracks which I liked a lot. <br><br>Stretcher Carry is avaibale on soundcloud. It' merely recreation but it's awesome almost like film version. How can I answer that ?<br><br><br>"At the moment ?" is my only true answer for you lol
Olive, if you think Brothers In Arms is nothing more than a RCP power anthem, then you're obviously missing something... To me it's one of the most brilliant action tracks of the last few years.Ola team ! <br>Maybe you do know Joe Kramer won't return to score Mission Impossible 6. And no one seems to know who will.<br>So here's my question : any chance to see someone from RC doing this ? <br><br>Thanks for reading me. Keep goin' your good job here, it's appreciated. :)<br>Wow. Pretty solid! It keeps the core track intact and, somehow, adds even more raw power into it. Thanks for sharing!@MrZimmerFan<br><br><Is better because there is variety and orchestration><br><br>It is not because a score is orchestrated that it is automatically superior to one half orchestrated and half electronic. My problem with JL is that it's a small score for a composer with as many facets as Elfman. The music is uninspired and (taking one or another track) ends as it begins, nothing catches yours ears beyond of the romantic moments and of the new interpretations of the themes for the heroes.<br><br>@mpolonest<br><br><I actually love that score, but I think the main issue is Elfman completely ignoring what came before and trying to force the classic themes.><br><br>Elfman had two paths: Ignore everything and do things his way or respect what Zimmer did and maintain the sound of previous films. What did he do? He made an uninspiring hybrid of both.<br><br>@HybridSoldier<br><br><Leagues above, and yet I doubt Ben will be able to write something like "Brothers In Arms" from Mad Max.><br><br>Everyone in RCP knows how to do a power anthem these days.<br><br>@Mephariel<br><br><I would not have gotten a chance to work on blockbuster films like Dunkirk, Blade Runner 2049 without Zimmer's influence.><br><br>Obviously not. It could be in smaller jobs and present some potential for years to come.<br>I think I just sharted myself. Thanks!

Wow! Stephen Barton worked on a lot of the important cues here, huh?

I wonder why it is that we rarely, if ever, get detailed information about who did what on HGW's scores. I'd be curious. :)

Frisbee2013-11-16 14:57:27
Apparently, most of those details are sourced from the ASCAP website. But HGW is a member of another association, the BMI, and those guys are probably not providing the same detailed information as ASCAP do.

ASCAP do list stuff by BMI composers but only if an ASCAP member was extensively involved in the making of that tune too. Maybe that's how some detailed information had been made available for a HGW project in the past?

Edmund Meinerts2013-11-16 16:46:19
Maybe that's it. But we get who-did-whats on John Powell scores a lot more frequently and he's a member of BMI too, isn't he?

Another one where we rarely get any info is Steve Jablonsky. In an ideal world they'd just put this kind of info in the album booklets!

Does anyone know if the music playing during the sequence where the gryphons attack the witch up until Edmund destroys the wand is available anywhere?

Anonymous2015-08-26 01:55:27
It is not. That music is made up of three or four cues. However, you can find a very similar arrangements of the griffon attack and subsequent part (where the centaur charges) on Prince Caspian's score. They're both in "Raid on the Castle", I think.

Narnia has the BEST music ever (other than Pirate of the Caribbean). I love adventure movies such as Narnia and Pirate of the Caribbean. I'm mostly a Pirate of the Caribbean girl!

The soundtrack is AWESOME and I don't know the name of what type of music it's called that you use. I particularly like "One Day". If you know what type of Genre of music that song is in please comment back here.

HANS ZIMMER!!! OMG you have the best composing skills I have ever heard and the POTC theme song makes me melt! Thank You :D

Take Care .xx.oo.xx.

I think you mean the song Evacuating London. See Crows N' Roses post below yours. It is the soundtrack SCORE to the motion picture. Composed and conducted by one of the greatest film composers of our time: Harry Gregson-Williams. I hope that helps!

The track you're looking for is called Evacuating London, it's on the released soundtrack and the lyrics by Lisbeth Scott goes like this (she wrote it so it's official):

One breath for all, one
one breath for all
feel this feel this
so tender
feel this feel this
one breath for all
so tender
feel this feel this

the 'battle' theme sounds like 'Kerak Castle' of the Kingdom of Heaven recording sessions

I noticed that the second half of the track "Raid On The Castle" in Prince Caspian and the unreleased (and currently unavailable) track "Desperation" listed below on this one are pretty similar. Small comfort :)

"The Battle Continues On" is probably the most missed track on this bootleg, IMO.

Guys hold your horses, this is only the first Narnia movie. Provided HGW is back to score the rest of the series, I wonder how much more stunning music he'll produce and how much more bootlegs we'll be left hunting for ;)

Dear Greg,
youre an amazing composer, your music has made me fall in love with the movies, especially Chronicles of Narnia. I felt in love with the Sountrack and i can play it in six different instruments. Im so excited for Princes Caspian coming out on March 16, im gonna be there. Keep up the work and remember that your music will be incredible, from 100 of years from now i know. You are similar to mozart and Beethoven, youre going to be remembered forever just like those guys. Thank you for your time.

That list there is my tracklist for my version and the source of where I got the music. I think "Out of the Water (alt end) 0:38 dvd-rip" may just be music tracked from another cue. And I think "Short Insert 0:13 dvd-rip" may be tracked from another cue as well.

Otherwise I list the source of where I acquired the cue from. As you can see there are things that were on the album but not the recording sessions as well as still stuff in the movie that was not present on the recording sessions. I believe that the people that got hold of the recording sessions bootleg only got 2 of 3 discs.

Xebec reply Replies: 0 || 2008-02-01 00:00:00
Jeez, Walt Disney Records people go to sites looking for clips of bootlegs/promos being hosted and ask them to be removed, but will not release the music in question, despite so many people clearly asking for it!! Hopefully, they'll release some expanded versions after more Narnia movies are out :-)

Skylark could you tell me what parts are still missing?

Skylark reply Replies: 0 || 2008-01-25 00:00:00
I am the one that made the OST+Recording Sessions+DVDRip. The reason I made it was because there are still tracks missing from the recording sessions and the OST (the recording session one doesn't even include all the OST tracks). I think the recording sessions may have supposed to have been a 3 disc set, but whoever got hold of it did not get hold of the third disc.

The music on the extended edition I think is either looped music or tracked from other tracks.
