Another awsome score by lorne balfe. I really like the film 6 underground directed by michael bay, is very awsome and intense and i begin to hear the score composed by lorne balfe, and its phenomenal and his second time working with michael bay since 13 hours, which i like lorne balfe's score too. Balfe's work is really inspiring in his film score.I don't expect Lorne to make a masterpiece with each movie, but it is true that most of her films are action candies, and I can't understand how she can deliver 6 underground and then make His dark materials. It seems that within Lorne there are a thousand different composers. And I don't know what to expect from Lorne again. Can't help noticing not one, but two Zimmer titles in here.... Tracks 14 and 16. lol. What is most disappointing is that this is a Michael Bay movie with a score being so bad. Historically his movies have fantastic scores by either Hans, Steve Jablonsky, and even Lorne Balfe. But this is hands down the worst Michael Bay score I’ve ever heard. <br><br>It’s functional, yes, but nothing compared to 13 Hours, any of the Transformers movies, The Rock, Pearl Harbor, etc. I definitely had high hopes for another good “power anthem” score... and the only cues that are any good are just Time ripoffs.<br><br>Highly disappointing.Again, if we have to expect every piece of work of one composer is have to be as good like his others pieces of work, that's pretty underwhelming and impossible.<br><br>Yeah, 6 Underground is not a good score by any means (neither Gemini Man, but is far more listenable), but works perfectly in the hiperbolic movie.
I expected a lot from this score, and the truth is that it left me cold. Honestly, I think it is Bay's fault, Balfe has shown that he is capable of doing everything, but here it gives the feeling of being covered. Again, Balfe must focus on fewer projects and the projects he accepts are of quality. There are speculations about the track "Til Death Do Us Part "as being composed by Brandon Campbell. Can anyone confirm whether it was Djawadi or Campbell who composed it?Come to Portugal again.> which ones are listenable<br>all of the ones I listed are the melodic/orchestral moments in the score not counting Memories and Beautiful Sunday.<br>Listen to Haunt the Living, Thrones, A Million Battles or One, But Not Done and tell me that the score is a travesty.Knight - okay, let us know which ones of these tracks are even listenable? Hyperbolic nonsense defines this score, but I do not blame Balfe - this would have been what Bay wanted. Such a shame to see his artistic credibility reduced to this after the stellar work on His Dark Materials and acceptable material on Gemini Man,.
Maybe try using your ears or brain next time before spewing out more hyperbolic nonsense.Ok tracks? Easy. About half the score is some decent anthemic tracks<br><br>Ghosts<br>Haunt the Living<br>I Am the Danger<br>You Can Change the World<br>Thrones<br>A Million Battles<br>One, But Not DoneOh wow, Balfe's had a potentially too productive year. I am still convinced if he took more time to compose His Dark Materials, it would be a classic on the level of Shore. Now, it is fine and impressive. <br><br>But what the fuck. I know Bay is a lucrative customer and you have to do what he wants but this 'score' is a travesty that will be buried soon. Seriously. This is the worst of the worst, I ask anyone on this site to name one track that is 'ok', there's an ethical limit, Balfe, Baby!Do not forget LisboaThanks for sharing the tracklist :)
Sooooooooooo excited for the film and the score!<br><br>I got the real tracklist, and is supposed to be 19 tracks from the score. Can wait to hear the score and see the movie tomorrow<br><br>1.Point of Extraction 2:24<br>2.Ghosts 3:22<br>3.Welcome To Florence 3:54 <br>4.Lose The Chopper 1:54<br>5.Haunt The Living 2:06<br>6.One Rule 2:07<br>7.I Am The Danger 3:17<br>8.You Can Change The World 2:15<br>9.Thrones 3:22<br>10.Memories 1:58<br>11.Beautiful Sunday 1:17<br>12.The Past 0:51<br>13.Shit Ton Of Blood 2:35<br>14.Leave No Man Behind 1:50<br>15.A Million Battles 4:18<br>16.Day Of The Dead 4:08<br>17.Sabotage 3:16<br>18.Live Or Die 1:56<br>19.One, But Not Done 3:08Visit Ukraine!Ho visto il concerto a Berlino The World of Hans Zimmer il 29 aprile 2018. Just wondering why Hans sticks with the not-so-appriciated Brukheimerish style of himself all the time. The score to Da Vinci Code showed when the guy wants to deliver he can and man what a delivery! It seems Hans's just itty, bitty, little lazy in some cases, if you know what I mean! :-P

Just Thank You Hans Zimmer!
Your music is full of emotions, feelings, vibrations...
Just as for Gladiator, The Da Vinci Code music made me cry. I think it manages to lift you up to the top! This music makes you forget everything.
One more thing : my sister is an autistic child and it is the only music that manages to calm her. She is transformed when she hears it!
So thank you from the bottom of our heart and please... GO ON this way!!

I did not like the film that much, but the music was great ! especially Chevaliers De Sangreal ....!!!! I would have bought the DVD only for those 4 minutes in the film...

'Poisened Chalice' is my favourite que, though they're all of a superior class. I read that the board of film classification in the UK asked for changes made to the score before they would give it a 12-cert, as it made the scenes 'too tense and dramatic'. While that's a very strange notion on the one hand, on the other what a compliment to the power and artistry of the composer!

This score is absolutely great especially Chevalier de Sangreal, the way it continues to buil and build.

This whole soundtrack is beautifully fitting for the story it helps to tell. In particular, "Chevaliers de Sangreal" is a stunning track. As the climax to the film, the sense of revelation and elation is quite wonderful. Even by itself, outside the context of the film, it provokes a powerful, inspriring feeling, even a sense of joy.

I am a great fan of your music. I like to paint/draw in my freetime and then I love to listen to your music. It is a source of inspiration for me. One of my favourite pieces is Kyrie For The Magdalene. For some time I try to find a songtext for it, but unfortunately this is really difficult. Nevertheless is your music really unbelievable and I am waiting for new films with your music.

My God! So this is the meaning of "beauty"! "Chevaliers" and "Kyrie" have taught me to be still and, not just listen, but to hear. I've enjoyed classical music all my life, but not to this extent. Zimmer and company, especially Hila Plitmann with the voice of an angel, have taught me a fuller meaning of joy.
