Richter is a conceptual artist, I love his Leftovers score, but come one, scoring to picture ?<br><br>He writes pieces that are used in scenes, not the other way around...<br><br>Richter scoring a moon buggy chase ? Hell no... lol you could see from day one it was gonna be replaced...^ Yeah the edit floating around matches Felix’s almost to a T. Only major difference is <br><br>“Our Final Stand - Showdown - United Greece - Finale”<br><br>Which is broken up into four separate cues. Realistically you could edit it anyway you want if you prefer the smaller cues. Personally, I like the long suite-like format of this release. Kinda like the album release for “Event Horizon” lol.I hope they at least release Richter's score.My Edit:<br><br>01. Rise Of An Empire - Marathon - King Darius - Artemisia - Man To God - War (13:36)<br>= <br><br>M1A Rise of An Empire (09:48)<br>M1B From Man to God King (03:44)<br><br>02. Greek Council - Persian War Plan - Spartan Fight Training - Greek Conversation - Your Commander Is Greek (10:47) <br>=<br><br>M2 Greek Council (03:39)<br>M3 Greek Conversation (07:06)<br><br>05. Suicide - General Bandari - Circle Battle (7:30) <br>=<br><br>M6 Suicide/General Bandari (02:10)<br>M7 Circle Battle (05:16)<br><br>06. Sex - Fire Battle (12:04) <br>=<br><br>M10 Sex (05:36)<br>M11 Fire Battle (06:21)<br><br>11. Our Final Stand - Showdown - United Greece - Finale (16:08) <br>=<br><br>M15-17A Our Final Stand/Showdown Pt.1 (08:19)<br>M17B-19 Showdown Pt.2/Finale (07:37)I'm not really interested in Balfe's part of work, but it would be a big disappointment if Richter's work wouldn't released.<br><br>But I think there's a good chance that movie (and music in particular) get an Oscar nominations, so let's just hope for the best.
@mpolonest123 any idea how to break up the really long cues on the complete? it’s a lot of tracks that are made up of several cuesArtemisia Suite = History of Artemisia <br>Greek Action Suite = Marathon <br>Xerxes Rebirth Suite = From Man to God King<br>Greek Sacrifice Suite = ???<br>Artemisia’s Childhood Suite = Artemisia’s Childhood<br>Greek Attack Suite = Greeks on Attack<br>Queen Gorgo Suite = Queen Gorgo<br>Xerxes Thoughts Suite = Xerxes Thoughts<br>Greek History Suite = History of the Greeks<br>Greek Victory Suite = Greeks Are Winning<br><br>Hope this helps! :-)Hybrid can you tell us what album cues are the suites ?!well, from what Lorne wrote on Twitter, it should be releasedCool thanks for getting back! I am still a little bit confused though. Do any Basil Poledouris cues go somewhere in that list? It’s been a very very long time since I have seen the film.
The Hans cues used are :<br><br>1M1 OPENING CREDITS / MAIN TITLE (USED FROM 2:18 TO 3:03)<br>1M2 GOLDEN STAIRCASE (USED FROM 0:00 TO 1:56)<br>2M2 JACK SEES WOLVES<br>2M3 BLACK WOLF<br>2M6 THE TREK CONTINUES (USED FROM 0:28 TO 1:15)<br>3M1 THIN ICE<br>3M2 SKUNKER'S DEATH<br>3M3 FULL MOON WOLF ATTACK<br>3M3A MORNING WOLF ATTACK<br>6M4 THE BEAR<br>6M4A THE BEAR ATTACK<br>7M3 IN THE STABLE<br>7M5 WHITE FANG FIGHTS SATAN<br>8M1 FIGHT MONTAGE (FIRST HALF USED)<br>8M3 PIT FIGHT (FINAL 20 SEC USED)<br><br>All the rest, by definition, is Basil's score...Hey hybrid soldier! You mentioned on the ghost in the shell page about white fang so I came here! Can you give us a list of the cues as they appear in the film please? The Basil Poledouris cues and the Hans Zimmer cues pleaseI imagined it ... hopefully this time Max Ritcher does not give him a lollipop and refuses to launch his musicYes Unbreakable.
<br>
<br>Exactly like White Fang. Have Poledouris write a score, then HZ do another, then pick what you want from both.
<br>
<br>Ghost In The Shell was kinda different...In the credits of the movie, Max Ritcher appears as the Main Composer, meanwhile, Lorne appears as Additional Music
I find that it would be best to accredit both and launch the two soundtracks and all happy.Hybrid implies that Max Ritcher's score was rejected, and that Lorne made a new one and in the end, the best of both has been used. I am right?ANd now apparently another guy is scoring it as well lmaoTechnically he's a little under 50% used so there's no obligation. But he wrote a whole score for it.but if Lorne has written 50% of the score you should have a credit like in Ghost in the shell

Just wondering why Hans sticks with the not-so-appriciated Brukheimerish style of himself all the time. The score to Da Vinci Code showed when the guy wants to deliver he can and man what a delivery! It seems Hans's just itty, bitty, little lazy in some cases, if you know what I mean! :-P

Just Thank You Hans Zimmer!
Your music is full of emotions, feelings, vibrations...
Just as for Gladiator, The Da Vinci Code music made me cry. I think it manages to lift you up to the top! This music makes you forget everything.
One more thing : my sister is an autistic child and it is the only music that manages to calm her. She is transformed when she hears it!
So thank you from the bottom of our heart and please... GO ON this way!!

I did not like the film that much, but the music was great ! especially Chevaliers De Sangreal ....!!!! I would have bought the DVD only for those 4 minutes in the film...

'Poisened Chalice' is my favourite que, though they're all of a superior class. I read that the board of film classification in the UK asked for changes made to the score before they would give it a 12-cert, as it made the scenes 'too tense and dramatic'. While that's a very strange notion on the one hand, on the other what a compliment to the power and artistry of the composer!

This score is absolutely great especially Chevalier de Sangreal, the way it continues to buil and build.

I love Mr. Zimmers works! I get goose bumps everytime I listen to Chevalier de Sangreal - it is amazing! The power builds and builds and builds and sweeps you away. Thank you so much for bringing such music to the world.

Definitely the "Chevaliers de Sangreal" is a Masterpiece. Congratulation Mr. Zimmer.

This whole soundtrack is beautifully fitting for the story it helps to tell. In particular, "Chevaliers de Sangreal" is a stunning track. As the climax to the film, the sense of revelation and elation is quite wonderful. Even by itself, outside the context of the film, it provokes a powerful, inspriring feeling, even a sense of joy.

I am a great fan of your music. I like to paint/draw in my freetime and then I love to listen to your music. It is a source of inspiration for me. One of my favourite pieces is Kyrie For The Magdalene. For some time I try to find a songtext for it, but unfortunately this is really difficult. Nevertheless is your music really unbelievable and I am waiting for new films with your music.

My God! So this is the meaning of "beauty"! "Chevaliers" and "Kyrie" have taught me to be still and, not just listen, but to hear. I've enjoyed classical music all my life, but not to this extent. Zimmer and company, especially Hila Plitmann with the voice of an angel, have taught me a fuller meaning of joy.
