Bayhem - Balfe is one of the few that hasnít got additional writers though.which films has this small army of ghostwriters ???!!!!!!You say Balfe worked on the last Transformers(2017). Okay. He may have been called by the Paramount. However, his involvement with the franchise in 2005 and in the following years happened because of the RCP and Zimmer's direct involvement in the project. There in 2005, 2007, 2011, 2014 he was a guest of RCP/MV and no received no call for help of the Paramount. There is no other way.he worked on the first transformers . And did a lot. Why not ask him on twitter .
.....................................

I've asked him a lot of stuff. We're Facebook friends. And yes, I know he worked on the first one. I clearly said it a couple of times in my replies here. He worked on the first one and the second one as well. But if you try to imply that Balfe deserves the credit for these scores, you are way, way off the mark. And it's very disrespectful to Jablonsky. Very.

Now, clearly you like Balfe a lot. Fine. But please don't undermine a far more experienced and successful composer like Jablonsky, just because Balfe is the "hot MV/RC composer" at the moment. We, the Jablonsky fans, certainly didn't act that way in 2007 when Jablonsky's name was everywhere and people were going crazy for the Transformers score. No one denies that Balfe worked hard on the Transformers films. But he's not the "main guy". Just like a lot of MV/RC composers have worked on HIS scores and they're not the main composers. You think Balfe scores all of his movies alone? Nope. Like any other successful and busy composer out there, he's supported by a small army of ghostwriters.Studio = Paramount and he worked on the first transformers . And did a lot. Why not ask him on twitter . I did !!!!!!Balfe never worked for Jablonsky =========================================

By "worked for Jablonsky" I meant he worked ON Jablonsky scores. And as James said, it's all MV/RC anyway. They all know each other and help each other. The first Transformers movie started post-production at the end of 2006. Back then no one knew who Balfe was (aside from the biggest MV/RC fans). His big break arguably came in 2009-2010. Years after the first Transformers movie. So no matter how we spin it, he still came after Jablonsky. Jablonsky is his senior and obviously has much more experience. And we have to respect that.

That was my point.
Should have gotten one for Interstellar, not this."Strength And Honor" is a forerunner to the main theme of King Arthur and also the theme for Transformers!

I was listening to the soundtrack and unwittingly the music sent me to these two other movies. :Dhe says he was brought in by the studio.

-----------------------------------------------

Studio = RCP = Hans Zimmer credit as producer of the score.
In end of day is the same thing.Maybe a honorary in the future.Bayhem - your wrong on a couple of points . Balfe never worked for Jablonsky .In a recent podcast he was asked about Transformers and he says he was brought in by the studio.seems the same with the lastest Film also.its pretty obvious the temp for the end is 13 Hours also.
A "spanish" score. This is great!An Oscar (or at lease a nomination) for Dunkirk or Blade Runner ; it would be great from the academy to reward this kind of score. In the last decade, only Gravity had also this kind of """""sound desing""""""" score.I think you're forgetting that Balfe also ghostwrote The Lord of the Rings
==================================

Hahaha, but of course! Howard Shore and John Williams are actually Balfe alter-egos. He's actually 155 years old and he's solely responsible for all of these iconic scores. Hell, I heard he did some additional work on Psycho as well. And Gone with the Wind. lol!

Now, let me say something else in regards to the claim that Balfe did this score. All kidding aside, it would've (I guess...) made sense to make such a claim if this score was done by someone UNtested. But this is Jablonsky we're talking! He's one of Balfe's mentors. Look back and you'll see that Balfe started working not only on Zimmer scores, but on Jablonsky scores as well.

So yes, Balfe is good and all, but let's not act as if he's "the greatest in the world". And let's respect and NOT undermine the more senior MV/RC composers who gave the guy a shot. Thank you.If he does I hope it's not for Dunkirk.Lynk, you should be able to just type the individual times into a column or row in Excel, select them all and the sum will be given at the bottom. Alternatively I use this sometimes: calculator. net/time-calculator

Also...HOOOOOOOOOOOLY shit that last track. My entire mouth just filled with saliva. :O
@Kusi

Each time Film Music Reporter or similar websites reveal full album details I see individual track lengths but usually total running time is not provided. I am often curious to find out what the total running time is. It is fairly straightforward to do the math myself, of course, but it takes time. What I am looking for is some web service, Excel template/formula or whatever quick and easy-to-use tool one can suggest that allows me to type in individual track-lengths and get the total running times as the output.Based on what you'd like to calculate it? MP3, CD....?jaa. but i think he will never get his second oscar...:-(Yes! I always thought that Hans was heavily (and secretly) involved here as a composer, but it's nice to see that it was indeed Steve who was running the show. He had help on some cues, but he was still involved in every track. It's not something you see every day when it comes to MV/RC scores. So props to him!

Chechof reply Replies: 1 || 2014-07-09 08:16:53
So where do i get this insanely good score? Didnt know it existed, i had the "normal" score which features less than half of this tracks.

Bayhem2017-07-17 13:42:51
Tell me about. I would pay top dollar for this complete score. Over 70 tracks! Amazing.

Kampfkeks46 reply Replies: 8 || 2013-09-15 12:12:56
Where did I get this Complete Score? Or Where can I buy it?

Evenstar2013-09-15 12:55:15
you won't get this information from here

Kampfkeks462013-09-15 18:32:38
But this Soundtrack is sooooo AWESOME! I Love it so.

Areozz2013-09-16 00:38:01
The fact that you love this soundtrack so much doesn't affect what kind of information is allowed to be discussed on here.

MacArthur2013-09-16 00:42:42
What are the scores Pirated or something, I mean if the guy is willing to pay money to the people who made the score, wouldn't it be fair to let him get it.

Kampfkeks462013-09-16 09:43:10
Yes. I don't care if I have to pay money for this Score. The fact is, that I Love this Score very much!

MacArthur2013-09-16 18:24:47
Cool that will be $1200. lol

Kampfkeks462013-09-17 06:50:59
But then I have to pay it in "Euro" (Ä), because I am from Germany. I hope they will release this Complete Score soon, so I can buy it.

Alright then lots of luck to you and yours.

This version is not a real expanded.
I make a version with true parts unreleased from the DVD. The result is very good (with lot of work in cool edit lol) and I publish the tracklist soon. ;)

Rgravity reply Replies: 0 || 2008-01-01 00:00:00
The reason why they post these Expanded Scores is for archival reasons, research, and what the composer has made in his/hers career including that of expanded/promo/complete scores.

Patrick P reply Replies: 0 || 2007-12-28 00:00:00
Can someone give a chronological list of the tracks from the 2 versions (official and bootleg) as they are used in the movie?
I have this 2 versions, but I want to make a playlist in the same order as the movie.
By the way, it's a very nice score, I love the "quiet" pieces.

Anonymous reply Replies: 0 || 2007-10-14 00:00:00
why call it expanded score soundtrack, when all of the new tracks are just longer versions and repetitions of the tracks in the official score? There are still loads of music missing and no plans of release. it's so frustrating..

Rob W reply Replies: 0 || 2007-05-25 00:00:00
Its all very well advertising the fact that there are bootleg versions of scores but for someone like me who loves movie scores - ITS FRUSTRATING!!!! All it does to people like me is annoy me, its a tease to put info on expanded versions of scores on a website and then tell us its not available - whats the point!?! You may as well not bother to tell us if there is no chance of us being able to buy it for ourselves or download it. Giving us 30 seconds of a sample is just as annoying because its just enough time to get into the track and then it ends - AAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH!!! If you're going to show off these great 2 disc versions of scores - LET US BUY THEM - PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE

Uluk reply Replies: 0 || 2006-08-17 00:00:00

I don't know for the car chase music

So, can anyone confirm it, how many plus music is here? Is the car chase music on the album?
