Gavin Greenaway is the conductorHe did a great job with HaloWhat I have to do to listen this soundtracks?Do the cues credited to Ryan Amon contain themes from Elysium? It's been years since I listened to the OFFICIAL album and I don't recall hearing any themes of that movie.Been wanting this one for a while...
Yeah I am glad there is no falling out.Yep. Jinnouchi is a pretty talented composer.Flute or panpipes? I already thought the sound was from panpipes.Kazuma Jinnouchi helped Jackman, that's a pleasant surprise!Iím curious to what this is. Never saw the film, but I loved the first two films and their soundtracks. Thereís a theme in part two where sheís driving to the Morgan ranch (I think thatís the title) but not on official release.
Just themes used, but Hans kept things close, just like for The Ring Two, supervising & debriefing the whole thing. He originally put Ben Wallfisch to score it but after Ben got other business to attend, he got Matt in... The irony, is that Matt only had a few weeks to score it in a rush in september 2016, only to find out when he finished mixing that the film was... pushed back to early 2017 !I thought Matthew uses just the Themes by HZ, or did he really compose here ?!Probably because it includes the OG Pokemon theme. We got the answer from Hans:

<br>Hopefully they collaborate againThanks Hybrid. Itís cool to see that Jackman worked solo on the strongest cues in the score. I wonder why the end credits piece was not included on the album though.
Who composed Circle of Life flute part?Composer credits, for those interested.the album was released from fox musicFox Music ? Disney you mean... and Disney is busy with TLK so...Awesome! I still listen to the first two scores frequently.

There's not much to be said about a classic score that influenced so many people since its release and added another brick in the ever-expanding wall of film music.

Itís true that some long-cue scores tend to become tedious and tiring for the listener but I personally donít have a problem with long cues as long as they do not fall into that trap. The particular ones, not only do they avoid that trap but a long of thematic and general musical development takes place in that duration and thatís a very pleasant fact because we get a coherent whole, with strong and memorable thematic material.

If you correspondingly of the contrasting issue that appears largely in score cds lately, i.e. the small cues that donít have the time and space to develop in order to actually offer something important to the listener other than plain underscore and semi-finished and undeveloped ideas, this is a rather welcome score.
