For what score are those booklet credits for, Sam?I can imagine if the booklet credits might help.<br><br>Music composed by<br>KLAUS BADELT<br><br>Score produced by<br>KLAUS BADELT<br>and HANS ZIMMER<br><br>Music orchestrated and arranged by<br>BRUCE FOWLER<br>YVONNE S. Before a big battle, a character sings this song and a montage of the various characters plays as they prepare for battle. So that is the melody. The lyrics go like this:<br><br>High in the halls of the kings who are gone,<br>Jenny would dance with her ghosts; <br>The ones she had lost and the ones she had found<br>The ones who had loved her the most;<br>the ones who've been gone for so very long, she couldn't remember their names<br>they spun her around on the damp old stone<br>Spun away all her sorrow and pain.<br>And she never wanted to leave, never wanted to leave, never wanted to leave, never wanted to leave.<br><br>They danced through the day and into the night<br>Through the snow that swept through the hall<br>From winter to summer and winter again<br>Till the walls did crumble and fall<br>And she never wanted to leave, never wanted to leave, never wanted to leave, never wanted to leave.<br>Hybrid, please update this list. Is it possible that you could include the alternate/album version of Main On Ends (AKA Taking A Stand)?
COMPLETE SCORES ARE AWESOMECareful, talking about complete scores or recording sessions can get your comment removed now.No more superhero film score for me, he said .... :DThe complete score is so amazing!! I saw on YouTube too.CD RELEASE????
PosiblyA surprise reference to be sure, but a welcome one.The same thing happened to me George@Michael Baker - I can’t be the only one who read that as Han Solo right?Yeah... Wait till CD 2 and I'm sure we'll get a much stronger idea of what's solo Hans in here.
@Edmund<br>I wonder if this is one of those situations where the material in film is derived heavily from the suites, with everyone either arranging it or adding elements onto it. Just guessing of course, I’m sure we’ll get a clear picture once the bonus stuff gets released.<br><br>And apparently there is about 16 hours of music “lying around”, going off of what Hans mentioned in the Vi-Control forums."heavily influenced" indeed :D <br>I really love Amity and I love how the theme appears in several other cues:<br>Reckless which features an epic/action rendition <br>Insertion = a short quote at the beginning <br>Coda = another call back to the theme<br><br>Been listening to the score since I saw the film. Love it. Eagerly waiting for CD2. I wonder if it includes an extended version of the last 2 minutes of Insertion - INCREDIBLE.I guess I should know better at this point but I'm still a little disappointed that there are no solo Hans cues. Although I suppose there could be some hidden inside the longer album tracks.Because it's heavily influenced by Henry Purcell, that's what Hans said :<br><br>"Dark Phoenix is all Henry Purcell... I felt the last few bars of “Dido’s Lament” with the endlessly descending line and the “Remember Me” perfect for the characters... less the tune, more the harmonic movement"Right. Hopefully the other missing stuff gets released on the 2nd CD though.

There's a John Williams score on a Hans Zimmer site.

My life is complete.

Yep

Umm...that is because Richard Harvey is an RCP musician. Every RCP musician who's worked on a score had it listed here.

1.) Daft Punk's TRON: Legacy (various RCP musicians were involved)

2.) Theodore Shapiro's Jennifer's Body (Co-composed with Stephen Barton, who is RCP).

3.) Brian Tyler's Rambo (Todd Haberman did some additional cues)

4.) Elliot Goldenthal's Heat (Lisa Gerrard is listed as composer, even though her tracks appear on her album The Mirror Pool, released the same year.

So relax. It's not like a John Williams Harry Potter score is randomly on here. Keep your pants on

I think you're the one who needs to stay calm. I'm well aware there's stuff by other composers, but the fact that John Williams--the man often pitted against Zimmer as the best modern composer--has a score on here is interesting.

wow... a John Williams album on Hans-Zimmer.com!? lol

The solo flute in "A Window to the Past" is one of the most beautiful music I've ever heard. Thank you maestro JW & Mr. Harvey!

no offence suicune but i dont think you should be sad about william's departure of harry potter what you have to understand is williams was busy with the memoirs of a geisha soundtrack so therefore wb had no choice but to find another composer which patrick doyle he's no williams but he still did a kick ass job with the gof score and now recently nicolas hooper will be the new composer of harry potter if you go to www.harrypotter.com im sure you will be impressed it may be disapointing that williams left the saga but like you said it is his choice in the end dont forget he did the same way for jurassic park 3 including the superman sequals so in the end you cant have everything in life so just let it go

I know this is HZ.com but I have to say that this is one of the best John Williams soundtracks of the 2000's. I don't understand why he didn't score for the whole saga. Oh, well...It's his choice in the end.
