Love the music during the Quicksilver scene. Fits the scene perfectly. That sounds so much like Inferno, even down to the choral sound design elements from “Science and Religion” that carried over from A&D.

Here’s a little bit more music...
https://youtu. be/RrYJcrGw JbE@George

Sounds kind of like Inferno. It has the same electronic pulsing chord-based vibe to it. I wouldn't necessarily say that's a good thing though. We'll just have to wait for the whole score.Everybody who wanna to see X-Men Dark Phoenix to hear Hans Zimmer what he did for score the whole movie. I hope it would be epic score and fun too.I was replying in my 2 Chainz voice haha

But this is legit :D
Just heard the cue 'Jenny Of Oldstones' and OH MY GOODNESS!!! what a bless for the soul and heart it was. I'm no GOT-fan, so I don't have any connections to the series, but that cue was so intense beautiful that i shared a tear while hearing at it.

somehow that melody seems to be familiar to my ear, but can't remember nor can't i say where i have heared it. Was this completely composed just for GOT? Or does anyone know where this melody got its inspiration?

a masterpiece of a cue. wished it was longer and would develope a la 'journey to the line' or 'time' from zimmer. This Soundtrack is absolutely amazing, each score is beautifully crafted by Djawadi.Night king theme, Not Today, Arrival at Winterfell, The Bells,The Iron Throne are just so perfect.thank you brohttps://www.youtube.com/ watch?v=aG1nWuYFkTM

there's some music at the end of the clipYou need to take out the spaces in the URL.
link doesn't work, i was really hoping it would cause I'm dying to know what he does with it/www.reddit.com/ r/xmen/comments/bo7t0f/first_listen_of_hans_zimmers_xmen_dar k_phoenix/?utm_ source=share&utm_medium=ios_app

This was on Snapchat a few days ago. I think it’s HZ’s music (maybe Hybrid can confirm).. Sounds pretty awesome!@mpolonest123 good point. Maybe we’ll get a “man of steel” suite round two ;)Hans is versatile AND fast, which is why he ever gets replaced.

And going off of what Hybrid said it sounds like this score is going to be really interesting (and hopefully a bit of a mess, which usually make for the best scores)hahahah sorry "true"
truuuuuuuuuuCan't wait to hear some of it. I wonder what Zimmer thought about John Powell's take on Dark Phoenix. Is this tru or false?

01 - M1 Rise of An Empire/Marathon/King Darius/Artemisia/Man to God/War (13:35)
02 - M2 Greek Council/Persian War Plan/Spartan Fight Training (03:39)
03 - M3 Greek Conversation/Your Commander is Greek (07:06)
04 - M4 Artemisia's Story (03:07)
05 - M5 Bad News (01:13)
06 - M6 Suicide/General Bandari (02:11)
07 - M7 Circle Battle (05:18)
08 - M8 Atemisia's Disappiontment/The Fog Battle (09:55)
09 - M9 Summoning Themistocles (02:44)
10 - M10 Sex (05:39)
11 - M11 Fire Battle (06:24)
12 - M12 Hero's Blood/Dead Spartans (04:47)
13 - M14 I Am the God King (02:46)
14 - M15 Our Final Stand (03:00)
15 - M16 Showdown Pt.1 (04:25)
16 - M17 Showdown Pt.2 (04:42)
17 - M18 United Greece (02:32)
18 - M19 Finale (01:25)
19 - M20 War Pigs (JXL Remix) (02:11)
20 - M21 End Credits (06:21)I know that much, the first part has some extra loops in the show.
But I am 100 % certain the part after 1:40 only plays later, when Jon Snow is forced to start fighting againPoliticals and tax refund!!!!!

Someone brought to my attention today that track 7, Charmed and Dangerous, has James Horner's well-known four-note-danger-motif trademark. It is played 3 or 4 times starting from 0:34!

So Shrek The Third was not bad after all. I totally enjoyed this CD though it was more Narnia influneced than Shrek-ish. Can't call it a conclusion to a trilogy though... Right now it's confirmed that there are two more Shrek films on the way... Hoooolly CGI!

I pretty much agree with you Han. I heard Harry talk about how a lot of the temp music (which was from Shrek 1 & 2) for the movie fitted perfectly so he just had some pieces reorchestrated.

And after seeing the movie, it's pretty obvious which bits of music these are.

I'll probably get this, but I'm just expecting a re-hash of the first two.

Hmm, Im trying to think if this cd is worth buying. Most of the great themes are found on the first movie soundtrack... I really dont think anything new stood out to me. What do you guys think?
