Listen to

A Big Strong Man In Need Of Rescuing.

That whole track is a damn easter eggI haven't seen the movie yet but I like the score more with each listen. Not a classic Zimmer by any means but still an enjoyable listen at its short running time. Looking forward to the movie as well. This is me or Henry Jackman removed the electronics this year it could be affect to the predator score because I was thinking about the predator score affect him to remove electronics and turned serious & dramatic. That's weird when Henry Jackman used a lot electronics & fun since 2009 to 2017 with his scores. The Henry Jackman I know died out after Civil War and Kingsman 2. After that you can hear faint fizzles of his electronic greatness, but nothing more.

But hey maybe he just doesn't wanna do that crap anymore...so..eh.Hard to believe this is a follow up to Wreck-It Ralph. Did he remove the electronics from this one too? Sounds too serious and at times dark and dramatic for a kid's movie score. Whatever happened to the fun?
Imperial March and Luke's theme are in it!Widows is actually a pretty interesting score. Not one of Zimmer's best from for an isolated listening experience standpoint, but as a textual score, I was engaged for the most part. The score effectively builds momentum throughout from beginning to end and I could feel the movie just by listening to the music.Tracklist:

01. Imagine Dragons – Zero (3:32)
02. Alan Menken, Phil Johnston, Tom MacDougall – In This Place (Instrumental) (3:20)And top gun:maverick....big 4Yeah seriously, he hasn’t done much in a year plus. He’s definitely taken some time off for touring and other things, which may be a great thing for his inspiration... who knows, but I’m guessing the time off has let his brain take a break and maybe he has a ton of new ideas for the big 3 (WW:84, Dark Phoenix, Lion King) coming up in the next year and a half.

Or maybe I’m just hopeful/wishful thinking lol.
Plus, Blue Planet II came out last year. That score is as far from Widows as possible.I'm not sure, but I think this site is not the right place to ask for copyright, since it is "almost official". But, here you can find the label of every officially released album you want, so you can ask the company labeled. That collaboration was barely a year ago. This is literally Zimmer's first significant score since then. You can't deduce a pattern from two data points.IMDb says that Lorne is one of the 3 composers of Battlefield V. I am confused.... :DWell, if you check what Hans Zimmer did recently there wasn't much material for him to write a good theme too. A lot of it was types of movies that were synth type music. I think The Dark Phoenix and Wonder Woman (apart from his amazing theme for her already) will have some good typical Hans Zimmer feel to it which I am excited for.
For the first time of my life but with sound experience, I assist on that one too. A very good job from all that team.
I only was surprised to not see Hans Zimmer itself and quickly understood that it was "the world of..." and not HZ live ! No regret for my first even if I'm a bit frustrated and regret my mistake ;o)
Do you have a tip for me to do it again and avoid that mistake again? When you purchase a ticket, it's hard, you have sometimes to go deeper to see that, finally, he's not gonna be there!
Have a great day U all.
I wishCool Hybrid! Been at the concert in Oberhausen last Saturday. A lot better then expected to be honest. Pedro's Oogway's Ascend was very good, Pedro outdid himself there (at the 2nd Zimmer concerts I thought he wasnt that great compared to Richard).

Yeah! The hell are the other comments about though? The Last Stand is miles ahead of X2. You weren't even saying TLS was the best X-men score, you were just saying it's Powell's best score. Man people are dumbHi, I want to add some seconds of 8 track for the background of my small documentary about races, my first one, is it possibile to ask for copyright? Should I write to some email addresses?
Hans Zimmer (who replaced Alf Clausen) is currently scoring the Simpsons Halloween Special

Hybrid Soldier2017-09-30 09:51:34
Mmmmmh nope it's Bleeding Fingers, Hans is producer at best...

replaced2017-10-01 15:18:59
It's disappointing to see Alf Clausen replaced by a stock music library. Were they really that cheap?

replaced2017-10-01 15:22:32
No offence meant to any of the unnamed composers but when you've dedicated your career to a show and you see you've been replaced by samples and a cue arranged by "Bleeding Fingers" it must be hard to take.

Mike2017-10-02 05:18:51
I have to agree . I hope this is not the case . I can't believe Hans would have anything to do with this ? To save money they fired an amazing composer and then got a company ?

replaced2017-10-02 16:41:36
More info here:
http ://filmmusicreporter.com/2017/10/01/bleeding- fingers-music-taking-over-scoring-duties-on-the-simpsons/

"The music production house Bleeding Fingers Music has taken over scoring duties on the Fox animated series The Simpsons. Hans Zimmer and Russell Emanuel serve as score producers and Steven Kofsky is credited as the score executive producer."

I dunno, but I do know that Henry Jackman lead the cue with the lynch mob.

Wow, 6 additional composers! I just bought it, could you please get the credits for each track, hybrid? I know I'm annoying, right? ;)

Indeed, the credits here would be interesting...

Want to get it though.

This score hardly sounds like Zimmer at all

Per reply Replies: 0 || 2010-08-26 00:00:00
Well, 'Giddyup Suite', isn't that the music in track 10 on the soundtrack !(?), so that's not really unreleased .... or is it different (?) ;) (...except for the minor fade with the previous track on the soundtrack, that is)
But perhaps you didn't mean that cue specifically being unreleased... (?)

Ravi reply Replies: 0 || 2010-08-26 00:00:00
I think this is one of HZ's more underrated scores, and has some very good unreleased tracks which shows in the complete version. "Giddyup Suite" especially features some very good orchestral writing.

My only gripe is that people here think that Zimmer actually reads this. This isn't even his website, this is a fansite, fools. Get that into your head.

Anyway Zimmer is pretty cool for his music and others at Remote Control too.

Thank You again. put the music in my heart again.

hans you are the man. this soundtrack is awesome.

1. The Simpsons theme - you have done much to this theme. you gave it alot more life. i loved your vesion of elfman's original theme

2. Trapped like Carrots - awesome. it has a very wind ensemble sound to it. I love this track one of my favorite tracks by you for all time. it is very jazzy. i lke how you play with the melody switching it between the trumpets, clarinets, flutes and then that huge low brass feature, wow!!!

3. Doomsday is Familytime - wow! this is one of the most gorgeous melodies i have ever heard. it is so beautiful. Everyone was afriad that you would have trumpets blasting and this song alone proves your genius.

4. Release the Hounds - Nice touch with the Latin rock feel. shows that you can really write all types of music. veru adventurous!

5. Clap for Alaska - then you come out with the Cathedral Chorale about The Simpsons going to Alaska. and you brought that beautiful melody from track 3 and took it a step further. i loved this track.

6. Whats an epiphany - excellent writing. you feel like your in the dream having the epiphany Homer is having even without watching the movie. This was very well written.

7. Thank you boob lady - then you come out with the military march where homer goes back to save his family. You managed to take the Simpsons theme and turn it into the war melody! Very nice work. you are a genius.

8. You doomed us all again - that beautiful melody comes back and you add even more to it, making all the more gorgeous. Then the march comes in and i see the power in what you are trying to portray here, which is the cities love for their town and Homer's for his family.

9. Lead not read - very adventurous piece. it reminds me alot of the power presented by Silvestri in back to the future, but even better. i loved this track/

10. why does everything i whip leave me - victory chorale. this track is very well put together. its alot like an olympic fanfare. i love it Hans

11. Bart's doodle - very cool piece. you can just imagine them living in a fairy tale land. and it reminds me alot of the music scores to the classic musicals. very creative writing.

12. world's fattest fertilizer salesman - very cool piece. very adventurou and tension building. it makes you want more and more as it goes along.

13. His big Fatt Butt cold sheild us all - Now you took the Simpsons theme and made it into a love theme. very cool Hans. you are definitely a mad genius. All of build in this one. it left me wanting more.

14. Spider-Pig - very dark and creative. Hans Your are a genius.

basically im telling you every track on this cd is awesome. i loved every moment of this soundtrack. i cant wait for more of your scores to come out. hans your the best composer ever!!!

Danny Elfman or Alan Silvestri would have been my first choice; their often lighthearted yet triumphant styles would suit this movie more than...say...a dozen trumpets blasting with marcato strings chopping their way through the background. But maybe Zimmer will "pull a Homer" with this one. Just don't go stealing from Holst again.

Here's an interview with James L. Brooks himself... maybe this will be an answer to the fans' curiosity (or, anger :p)...

http://www.canmag.com/nw/8456-simpsons-movie-james-l-brooks
"Alf has a full time job on the series. Hans and I have worked on a lot of movies together. Alf has a full time job and Hans is somebody I think came through for us brilliantly. I know he spoke to Danny [Elfman] and paid all respects there."

Anyway it seems they enjoyed a lot...
http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=22484

"Matt Groening: Everything in the movie is bigger. (...) The music, for the first time, you can actually be bombarded by. It's big and loud and very ambitious. Hans Zimmer did a fantastic job with the score. He's like the fifth Simpson. (laughter)

CS: How closely did you work with Hans Zimmer on that score?

Brooks: Intimately, and some of the key things that happened to our movie happened late at the sound mix. There's very little later than the sound mix. When Hans had done these little goofs privately and he played them for us at the very end of the road, we just started putting it in the body of the movie.

Jean: He's got a terrific sense of humor.

Brooks: Well, he's German. (laughter)"

...goofs?
