Mancina's theme + Ad Astra + MW:2= Bad boys for Life.Please enlighten me on how Bad Boys 3 sounds the same as Lego Batman or Genius: Picassowhy his music always sound the same...if he doesn't have time why he keep scoring more and more films per year? is it all about money?Modern Warfare 2 is a lot in the album!

- It's Good Shit Lieatenant
- We're Dangerous People
- What Else You Got (Bad Boys Remix)
- God's Gun (Bad Boys Remix)
- We Ride Together, We Die Together (Bad Boys Remix)We're Dangerous People
Call of the Wild coming by Hollywood Records, that means, digital.Bloodshoot coming from Sony ClassicalCan confirm is in the albumavailable in nz itunes store. on the cover its correct now....motion picture score.What was Hansí role in the treatment of Mantovaniís ďCharmaineĒ. It sounds like the original, but cleaner, clearer, & without the limitations of 50/60ís recording technology. Iíve been fascinated by this piece for 25+ years, as it seems almost a precursor to Jarre & even Zimmerís electronic music, while being entirely orchestral. Links to info appreciated.
@Scorefan: You know what "Motion" means right? Motion picture = moving picture = movie. U either call it "Original Movie Score" or "Original Score from the Movie" or u call it "Original Motion Picture Score". But u can't say "Movie Picture" lol. Its just wrong or like Macejko said.. "a retarded mistake" ;-)@Maho: Dude I know why its stated "Score", but thats NOT the issue. What I'm talking about here is "Movie" which should be called "Motion".If you are interested, here is an interview with Otomo https://www.japantimes.co.jp /culture/2004/07/14/ films/film-reviews /the-master-behind-the-otaku/#.Xiix-P4zbctI like to make you in positive way aware of that "Time" has been blended with Charlie Chaplin's message to humanity (The Great Dictator) and thoughful added images in a video on youtube. If it is blocked due to disturbing pictures, please use a proxy to see it.But there is still a chances. Steve was suggested to Otomo by music supervisor Keiichi Momose and in an interview Katsuhiro mention that he really liked Jablonsky's work on Steamboy.

So, we may hope that Keiichi Momose will work on Orbital Era or Otomo rememberes Steve's music for Steamboy. Time will tell.
To be honest it's just my thoughts. But what are the chances that Otomo will choose Steve for his new work after really long brake (almost 15 years)?I would love for another animated score from Steve. Why is it almost impossible for him to score for Katsuhiro Otomo out of curiosity?I just saw this, EXTREMELY HAPPY!!!! he's so dope and talented apparently he's already done a few tracks cause the actor lewis tan sais he liked what he already heard.He is scoring to Mortal Kombat reboot movie, I saw that news from film music reporter, but mortal Kombat 1995 score was my favorite score.@Evenstar Original Movie Picture Score? lul. Usually it's called Motion Picture but ok.

No not always. I have a lot of scores where it is on the front of the booklet. Especially when an album with songs was released. So that the laypersons don't get confused, but still always manage not to look through, you can see on Amazon.

"Optimus" is a blessing from the heavens. Words cannot describe the brilliance of this track. Thank you Mr. Jablonsky.

In my opinion this score is fantastic. You can really here the influence of Hans Zimmer. My favourite track is "You're a soldier now" - exellent.

Looks like this CD is pretty much sold out already! Amazon.com marketplace prices are $120, crazy considering it was released in October. Does anyone know if/when it will be available again? I'm in the UK which makes it even more difficult to find.

Zurg reply Replies: 0 || 2008-01-07 00:00:00
The score may have been infulenced by Mr. Hans' pervious works, but it has not been copied. There IS originality in many parts of the score. The music is really nice, IMO.

thePen13 reply Replies: 0 || 2007-12-26 00:00:00
The problem with all these composers workin' for Zimmer is that it's gonna be hard for any of them to create their own signature sound. This was a great score, but if you want originality you might as well listen to a Zimmer queue instead. A lot of Remote Control's scores are starting to sound all too much a like. What happened to the good 'ol days when all a composer had was a piano and a blank piece of sheet music. John Williams, Ennio Morricone, or Jerry Goldsmith never relied on computers or 10 other composers to write their music, which is why they are legends!

MacCharlie reply Replies: 0 || 2007-12-12 00:00:00
A lot fun to listen to. Still I expect soon to hear something more original stuff as Steamboy was from Mr. Jablonsky.

They use a very small part of "Frenzy" in that scene.And yeah, Nokiabot is used in the scene after that, ending with Starscream landing on Hoover Dam.

Mr Tweedy reply Replies: 0 || 2007-10-25 00:00:00
@Westfall

You're right dude, I discovered the same thing some days ago. I can't say if it is the exact "Frenzy" cue or a variation on it, but it definitely has the same instruments, ambiance and overall sound.
The "52-tracks expanded" contains a cue called "Nokia Bot", but this is a mistake, it isn't used at all during the Nokia Bot sequence but just after, as the Decepticons are mobilizing next to Frenzy's call and that Starscream fires the energy plant.

Westfall reply Replies: 0 || 2007-10-21 00:00:00
Actually track 5 is in the movie, although i've only noticed it after i heard it in the score.It play in the Nokiabot scene, while the little critter is running around inside the box. It is of course, only a fraction of whats in the score but its definitly track 5-Frenzy.

chris reply Replies: 0 || 2007-10-20 00:00:00
Michael Bay mentioned in the commentary on the DVD that Hans Zimmer did contribute to the score. Hans Zimmer tends to throw in some signature pieces in his work, reflecting back to recent previous efforts. In one track, you can certainly hear Batman Begins (when Batman smashes into the elevated train). As for it sounding like Terminator, credit Brad for making the sound that indentifies us with robotic organisms.

I just thought I trow my 2 cents in. I love this album. It is fantastic. Some of those scores could be amped up and more complicated in Transformers 2, kind of like how John Powell did with Bourne Ultimatum.

I was blown away. Really! This has got to be the best Movie Score I have EVER heard! My favorite piece on the Score CD is "Arrival To Earth". It just drove me to tears! It was so beautiful and it made the Autobots sound as if they were Heaven-Sent and it made we want to believe they were real. It really touched me! I cried watching them arrive, espeically when one came out of the pool. I was seriously awestruck. I applaud you Steve Lablonsky. I really do! Wonderful job! Love the whole Score!
