can you produce track for me?How do I become your apprentice? tremblayliam@yahoo.comGreenland is so good!

Nice mix between kids choir, electronics and orchestra, remind me to San Andreas a little.Never listen the complete score, so i can't comment about thatFair enough, but I know for a fact that Steve was inspired by Harry Potter because of the complete score track "Tavern Fighting (Part 1)". The end of that track has a direct reference to The Chamber of Secrets theme from the second film.
I GOT HIS AUTOGRAPH!!!!!!Dark Phoneix is more playable than Dunkirk, more thematic in my opinion, and don't agree with that opinions saying are the same, specially when Dark Phoenix has more in common with the early 2010s and some of the 90s score by Zimmer.I don't find the similarities between Playful Secrets and Home Alone, mostly the track (and the most part of the score) reminds more to Danny Elfman than John Williams, even Goldsmith, which his synthesizers sounds, are pretty unique, much more than Jablonsky in this score, but i give that sounds like a 80s synthesizer.Please Inception be next!!
There are tons of music in the film that didn't make it to the soundtrack.That's great. I personally like Dark Phoenix more than dunkirk, I feel pretty good visiting Xperiments.

The funny thing (and I can identify with your anecdote), is that every time I do homework with my son, I put music on him (not just Hans), but he also gets to recognize just by listening to a fragment or the main theme, a example is le petit prince, the lion king and the hobbit., among others recognizes them. He's only 4 years old and I'm funny because he asks me for music to do his battles.
quite an experience haha
I have a feeling Hans doesnít even know about this release lol. Itís so lazily done. I hope the packaging makes up for it tho.

Iím crossing my fingers for Dunkirk but I donít think itíll ever happen. ThatAwesome news. But next time Hans should just include the entire score along with those tracks. I also think that he should release an extended version of Dunkirk because there is so much material in the movie that hasn't been released.I'm gonna have to agree with MrZimmerFan that it sounds more like Danny Elfman style, especially because of the choir.More than anything else "Playful Secrets" sounds like it's straight out of Home Alone. Definitely Williams more than Elfman for me.

This score is one of my favorites from Jablonsky. The retro synths are almost Goldsmith-like in places which is awesome to hear. And it's one of the very few post-Steamboy scores of his that brings back some of that Steamboy adventurous spirit. Would be great to hear him do this sort of thing again one day.Oh... And No Time For Caution was already included on the Illuminated Star Edition (hidden track on CD2)... Sad...
well that's disappointing -.-Just checked the Amazon page and the track listing is essentially the same as the Illuminated Star Edition (with No Time For Caution and Day One Dark added on)film version of No Time for Caution would be amazing

Day One Dark in higher quality than 256kbps MP3 would be cool tooJesus!

If this is a new precedent for companies to release past (and future) works expanded than sign me up. I love the option of having both a normal OST release and a complete. Saves having to wait for sessions lolOh my god yes "Quantifiable Connection" and "Day One Dark" at last properly released, maybe ?

"Optimus" is a blessing from the heavens. Words cannot describe the brilliance of this track. Thank you Mr. Jablonsky.

In my opinion this score is fantastic. You can really here the influence of Hans Zimmer. My favourite track is "You're a soldier now" - exellent.

Looks like this CD is pretty much sold out already! Amazon.com marketplace prices are $120, crazy considering it was released in October. Does anyone know if/when it will be available again? I'm in the UK which makes it even more difficult to find.

The score may have been infulenced by Mr. Hans' pervious works, but it has not been copied. There IS originality in many parts of the score. The music is really nice, IMO.

thePen13 reply Replies: 0 || 2007-12-26 00:00:00
The problem with all these composers workin' for Zimmer is that it's gonna be hard for any of them to create their own signature sound. This was a great score, but if you want originality you might as well listen to a Zimmer queue instead. A lot of Remote Control's scores are starting to sound all too much a like. What happened to the good 'ol days when all a composer had was a piano and a blank piece of sheet music. John Williams, Ennio Morricone, or Jerry Goldsmith never relied on computers or 10 other composers to write their music, which is why they are legends!

MacCharlie reply Replies: 0 || 2007-12-12 00:00:00
A lot fun to listen to. Still I expect soon to hear something more original stuff as Steamboy was from Mr. Jablonsky.

They use a very small part of "Frenzy" in that scene.And yeah, Nokiabot is used in the scene after that, ending with Starscream landing on Hoover Dam.

Mr Tweedy reply Replies: 0 || 2007-10-25 00:00:00
@Westfall

You're right dude, I discovered the same thing some days ago. I can't say if it is the exact "Frenzy" cue or a variation on it, but it definitely has the same instruments, ambiance and overall sound.
The "52-tracks expanded" contains a cue called "Nokia Bot", but this is a mistake, it isn't used at all during the Nokia Bot sequence but just after, as the Decepticons are mobilizing next to Frenzy's call and that Starscream fires the energy plant.

Westfall reply Replies: 0 || 2007-10-21 00:00:00
Actually track 5 is in the movie, although i've only noticed it after i heard it in the score.It play in the Nokiabot scene, while the little critter is running around inside the box. It is of course, only a fraction of whats in the score but its definitly track 5-Frenzy.

Michael Bay mentioned in the commentary on the DVD that Hans Zimmer did contribute to the score. Hans Zimmer tends to throw in some signature pieces in his work, reflecting back to recent previous efforts. In one track, you can certainly hear Batman Begins (when Batman smashes into the elevated train). As for it sounding like Terminator, credit Brad for making the sound that indentifies us with robotic organisms.

I just thought I trow my 2 cents in. I love this album. It is fantastic. Some of those scores could be amped up and more complicated in Transformers 2, kind of like how John Powell did with Bourne Ultimatum.

I was blown away. Really! This has got to be the best Movie Score I have EVER heard! My favorite piece on the Score CD is "Arrival To Earth". It just drove me to tears! It was so beautiful and it made the Autobots sound as if they were Heaven-Sent and it made we want to believe they were real. It really touched me! I cried watching them arrive, espeically when one came out of the pool. I was seriously awestruck. I applaud you Steve Lablonsky. I really do! Wonderful job! Love the whole Score!
