Ok.But still it would be awesome if Djawadi is composing The EternalsWell, unless you have a source, or can point to a credible publication reporting Romer is not scoring it, I think it is safe to assume (for now) that the composer announced and still listed on the official website as the composer for the film is in-fact the composer for the film..

He wouldn't be my personal choice for the job, but I am not going to ignorantly pretend that he isn't currently the hired composer.I was at the concert yesterday in Denmark, words can't describe what i felt, it's something that has to be experienced in person, truly amazing.

Music is one thing, but the lights and video along the show was awsome, that can't be described, you have to be there.

I hope for a bluray version of a concert, I will gladly be the first to buy it.Jackman has always been my favorite of his "generation" of RC composers (in which I also include Balfe, Djawadi, Örvarsson, Margeson and Streitenfeld - the ones who broke out about a decade ago). I think he's the best orchestral writer other than Powell and I always appreciate the clean, organic sound of his scores - like with Powell's scores, Jackman's orchestra always sounds real and clearly distinct from the electronics, unlike Balfe and Zimmer himself who use samples a lot more and blur things in the middle. That's true even of scores of his I don't like, such as Winter Soldier.

I do wish he'd stop stripping the electronics off of tracks for his album releases though. That seems like a strange way to address the criticisms he got for Winter Soldier - kind of missing the point.
Any plans for a concert in Denmark (Boxen, Herning) ?I like this score!!!

Henry is very good in my opinion. I always liked his scores even when others didn't.

And I'm really excited for Jumanji: The Next Level!!!Neither Romer or Balfe are scoring Bond 25I want to say that test screening version of Ghost in the Shell deleted one geisha character who was under orders of Cutter to follow the Major and in the original third act, she fought Aramaki when he stormed into Cutter's Holo room after killing his guards. Aramaki survives and the scene continues as shown. Because of the poor reception of what I call "The Philosophical Cut", the geisha character was removed and there were quick reshoots of all of the conversations between Cutter and Aramaki minus the geisha character involvement.The report about Romer leaving wasn't even confirmed, so I think it's just people wanting the expected to happen at this point.
lol no he’s notLast week, the IMDb page said Joseph Trapanese is scoring it and next week some other composer will probably be listed there. Amazing that some people still think of IMDb as a reliable source for this kind of info.More Cannons!, 2:14 - Jack Sparrow theme from PotC?Ramin Djawadi will compose The EternalsWell, "No Time To Die" (Bond 25) is being scored by Dan Romer. So, No; he is not scoring it.
This is Balfe’s best music yet for sure and shows a side to his musical skills we don’t get to hear much I think.
It’s been interesting reading posts about Balfe doing Bond.Has he confirmed yet if he is ?Why would I ever do that ?

Tracklist is the real one... -_-New trailer for the Sonic movie.
https://youtu.be/szby7ZHLnkAIs there any chance of a concert in London?i mean, the page, would you update with the tracklist posted years ago?

If anyone owns Transformers Promotional Score, you can make an Extended Score out of it. And I guess the tracks lenght on the official score is not more than approx. 60 mins total. So, you can end up with approx. 1h 40min of the entire score. All the major and most important themes would be there, no doubt. But, how could they ommit "I am Megatron!" theme?!!!? Although, it is heard in Bogey Approaches and Are You LadiesMan 217. The music is awesome! I can't wait Transformers 2 and Steve's music for it!

I really hope that this is the wrong lenght, for days people told me that the sc.ore is around 70 minutes, and this is 56-57 minutes long.

All Hail Megatron!

Feared reply Replies: 0 || 2007-10-03 00:00:00
It is closer to 60 minutes (approx 59:54)
It's enough for me to hear this length of the Transformers score.

Mr Tweedy reply Replies: 0 || 2007-10-03 00:00:00
"1. Autobots" is 2:30 long ?? Well that means it is not the opening titles from the movie because it was about 1minutes20 long !
Or maybe it's a montage of the opening and any other cue... maybe the "Bogey Approach" cue which is a minute long or so !
Time lengths are pretty surprising, but of course many tracks could be more like montages or suite. One week and we'll have our answers.

joshua reply Replies: 0 || 2007-10-03 00:00:00
can anyone confirm the length? If it's true ,im wooried there gonna cut alot of great music out. Which seems to be a growing trend in hollywood

Ma che cazzo ha detto questo?

Anonymous reply Replies: 0 || 2007-10-01 00:00:00
On iTunes there is the Pre-Order of Transformers The Score and it costs 16,99 dollars so it must be a long length, maybe over 70 minutes

Feared reply Replies: 0 || 2007-10-01 00:00:00
Strange that 8 days before the release we still don't know the length.

When I hear the promo score I was a little dissapointed...it was like hearing the Batman begin score, they are prety much the same . I think that Jablonsky have alot of influence of Zimmer, he should work by himself next time. Anyway, I love this movie, and maybe the biggest reason of this is because of the score, I´ve been waiting it since july and I cant wait to buy it in just 14 days. That is another concern that I have. If you go to any music store here in Mexico nobody knows about the release of the score so I was wondering if any of you guys knows anything about the release dates around the world!

fabien reply Replies: 0 || 2007-09-25 00:00:00
I must admit that this guy has been good for this movie; somehow a mix between pearl harbor (at the beginning) and the island in the chase scenes.

Danny reply Replies: 0 || 2007-09-24 00:00:00
if enough people buy it they will realese the full score. But i thnik if you cut and paste music from the promo to this youll get a complete score.

max reply Replies: 0 || 2007-09-23 00:00:00
I think Jablonsky's music is great. Can't wait for the transformers soundtrack to be released. Keep it up Steve!

LOL same as you Levente... :D

Levente reply Replies: 0 || 2007-09-22 00:00:00
I would really try this fan thing. Tough I hardly do music on my own.

Feared reply Replies: 0 || 2007-09-21 00:00:00
From the RC composers I consider him the least talented. He does not have a unique style or approach, just recycle motifs from Zimmer, Rabin or HGW.
He can improve in the future though.

Feared reply Replies: 0 || 2007-09-21 00:00:00
I think the same as Levente.
The score is fun, a guilty pleasure, but musically it's below average. A typical MV action mess with very little melody.
I love MV score, but Steve Jablonsky is not a very talented composer. His score are rather empty and lack thematic improvement. The only exception could be Steamboy, which has lot's of ideas based on Zimmer scores.
So I'll definitely buy Transformers score album, because I like electronic, upbeat scores, but I'd prefer Mr. Jablonsky to use more orchestra and less synth in the future.

Hybrid Soldier reply Replies: 0 || 2007-09-21 00:00:00
"Steve Jablonsky is not a very talented composer"

°_°

How can you write such a thing ?

Did you ever hear his work for Desperate Housewives ? It's the best music ever written for a TV series, far away from Prison Break or Lost...

Levente reply Replies: 0 || 2007-09-21 00:00:00
I read that Steve Jablonsky will personally thank for the fans and everyone who signed the petition in the booklet of the soundtrack.

zenefan reply Replies: 0 || 2007-09-21 00:00:00
If anyone have time and equipment and knowledge, try to make a "better" (the work's sounding quality doesn't count so much) TF score stuff. The chance is given for everyone!!! Then a "TF fan jury" collect the 40 most worthwhile works and from these tracks, the 20 top voted tracks could be on the "Unofficial TF:TM07 'Inspired By' Compillation" (through a vote process).

The most top voted track's owner win a chance to make 1 track to the next Transformers Movie SCORE (as Bonus Track) ;)

I think about 1 year is enough to make something very special "Inspired By" work... that's more than meet our ears.

Who wanna try his own skills???

zenefan reply Replies: 0 || 2007-09-20 00:00:00
@vince:

That track isn't the official autobots theme ;)
We are waiting to the official score release... just 18 days backwards!!!
