Will any tracks from Man of Steel be played on the Live2021 tour? It is a life ambition of mine to experience a live performance of it!I missed Jasha Klebe. I thought he did some really good stuff at Bleeding Fingers. I am looking forward to hearing more from Kara Talve. I think she is a really good talent.

What happened to Marc Streitenfeld? I was going to ask about Klaus Badelt, but I am pretty sure I am not going to get that story.
Tom's more recent work has received more love, but I personally love the Fury Road and Rise of an Empire type soundtrack more. I'm looking forward to this and I hope it's close to what Man of Steel and Dawn of Justice sounded like. Although, the snippet he shared doesn't really sound like it. We'll see.That´s why I asked myself, why dont they ever re-unite like before, so yea, they sometimes doInterestingly, Aljoscha is collaborating a lot with 2WEI these days. The Junkie Team reassembles ! lol
Oh I see, very interesting! Many thanks for the answer :)Fired ?!

Haha no.

You gotta realize being an additional composer is not exactly an easy thing. Some jump ship after a few years or have other aspirations, try to work solo and so on.

Vörlander worked for Junkie from 2010 to 2015, then started his own business of writing for commercials, trailers etc. (it's called 2WEI, in Germany) He even did keep working on some trailers for JXL's scores after that, or helped on FIFA 17. Junkie had Aljoscha Christenhuß who worked for him from 2015 to 2018. Then Antonio jointed in 2016, Sara Barone joined more recently last year.

Thomas is doing his own thing too, he founded Chromium Music and is doing some solo projects now.

Jasha, after working for Lorne & Hans, "transfered" to Bleeding Fingers but after a while left to focus on his own solo career too.

Ultimately, everyone leaves, sooner or later... :)@Hybrid, I was always wondering, what happened to composers like Thomas Farnon, Jasha Klebe or Christian Vorlander - why are they not working with Lorne/Junkie anymore? Did they get fired or did they just move on? I find it weird, that Lorne/Rupert/Junkie/Etc would fire their additional composers after all those years of collaboration.The theme he was supposed to write but didn't ? :D lol

Well don't take word for word what he says. He's being general, the interview was for Forbes afterall.

Just take the extract we got, it had a quote from BvS that had nothing to do with either Superman or Wonder Woman... lol*forgot to mentioned
"Besides the Man of Steel theme for Superman and the theme for Wonder Woman, which I have given a new spin, all the other themes for this movie are brand new,”

I hope Tom just forget to mention about Batman's theme and will reuse it too, because if he don't, then what's the point of it?Junkie's score for GvK is probably going to be better than his score for Justice League if he is that interested in doing a score for a godzilla movie.And this

“On Godzilla vs. Kong, I said, ‘I think we need the biggest bass drum on the planet for this score. I know the guy who can build it, what do you think?’ They just said, ‘Let’s do it.’ So I said I want a bass drum that is at least eight feet in diameter,” he laughed. “The guy called me back, and he asked, ‘Is it okay if it’s only six?’ I said, ‘Could we do eight? Why can’t we do ten?’ The answer was, ‘Well, there’s simply no cow alive that has a skin big enough to cover for a ten-foot bass drum.’ So, we have to scale it down to eight.Also, a bit of GvK:

'A perfect example is the Godzilla vs. Kong movie that is coming out next year,” he enthused. “I’m such a Godzilla freak. I have all the Japanese versions of the movies. At a certain point, just for s**ts and giggles, I wrote something for Godzilla. About two years ago, I met the director because he showed interest in me as a composer. I asked him, ‘Do you know I’m the biggest Godzilla fan on the planet, and, years ago, I wrote some stuff.’ He was like, ‘You’re kidding me?’ So we started communicating, I tweaked what I did, played it for him, and he was totally in love.”Tom's interview kinda exactly confirms what I said ! lol

"Besides the Man of Steel theme for Superman and the theme for Wonder Woman, which I have given a new spin, all the other themes for this movie are brand new,” he revealed. “Some of them I did the groundwork on four years ago, but as you grow as a composer, you look at what you did and maybe have a better way of doing it now or a better idea. It was inspiring. I would get an idea in my downtime and think, ‘Oh, let’s rework this thing. Let’s do that.’ Because I knew for a while that this was coming, I had the time and space to shape it into its best possible form."
@Hybrid besides Tom style, do you like the more orchestral style with Di Lorio or the more electronic style with Vorlander?Interesting! It sounds like he’s almost starting from the ground up, which actually might end up sounding better than what we would’ve gotten had the original film been released in 2017.

I’m also interested in the theme suites/sketchbooks he wrote back then, and if they will still be used as a basis for the score. Either way the end result is gonna be cool I feel, hopefully we get a great score release from WaterTower!Well since the thing is completely going to be re-edited (series format, probably 4h movie after), lots of scenes added & altered (something even if Snyder had stayed in 2017, he couldn't have done freely), a lot of work to be done for sure.

Writing new cues, maybe changing others completely. Rewriting with all the edits probably making scenes longer etc.

You probably have the core of the score, the themes, the big ideas & cues done, but you have to readapt it almost completely ! And, as I said, in 3 years, maybe Tom can listen to something he wrote 3 years ago and go "ok, I got that completely wrong, let's try something else."@HybridSoldier
That’s completely true. Do you think we will ultimately get a hybrid of Tom’s original score mixed with whatever else he is writing currently?

He says in the preview that there is much more to write, which is interesting considering the original cut was supposedly “mostly done”...Wanted, such underrated action score

jajajajaja ok Hybrid if you said so. For information, the expanded score of 28 tracks is a fake version. But, whatever you say, i imagine that you the real complete score. jajajajajaajajaja

bOU2011-10-25 15:08:27
Hey Anonymamamoussepetitbonhommeenmousse , you have nothing to do apart pollute the HZ talbacks with shitty boot' tracklists on each title and bitching about Hybrid???!!!

I am afraid I can't give an intelligent answer to a mollusc like you mister Jajajajaja.
I just pity you for your childish attitude.
Je ne vous salue pas monsieur!

black beard the pirate2011-10-26 15:02:31
This model does not talk about ways to score. Why do you insist on the release of pirated track list? I do not do a thing, I hope you will understand all of the destruction.

Anonymous2011-10-27 04:20:57
jajaja bOU you say i am a mollusc, do you think how imagine you. Well it's not a child attitude. But whatever you think. En verdad que no me interesa.

There is a legitimate, longer version of JUMPER. It runs 48 minutes, 10 seconds and is 25 tracks. It is however missing 12 cues.

Anthony reply Replies: 0 || 2008-04-13 00:00:00
Yes it's fake. It's not expanded at all. Some person just thought cutting up bits of the OST to "make" the unreleased cues was a clever idea.

nash reply Replies: 0 || 2008-04-13 00:00:00
just a question about the expanded that is floating around, is it fake or not???

Cloud reply Replies: 0 || 2008-03-09 00:00:00
Whoa, what a disappointment. I have to agree with other people here, it seems just like an album full of dull underscore. Haven't seen the movie, but I certainly hope it works at least there if not on album. Oh well, maybe next time ;)

what is the name of actual song which is sang in the movie and who sings it?

Anthony reply Replies: 0 || 2008-02-14 00:00:00
In all honesty, 3/4 of this is rather flat. It still brought a few minutes of nice music into the world though.

wtf? this is the most boring JP score ever... 44 minutes of underscore :-(

Bring on Stop Loss and Hancock!

Sylvos reply Replies: 0 || 2008-02-12 00:00:00
It looks like there were loads of short cues in this score. All those 3 or 4 minute tracks in this album are made from several smaller cues. I'm guessing that if they weren't made into those 4 minute suite-like tracks, it would definitely be a 30+ track album.

Anthony reply Replies: 0 || 2008-02-12 00:00:00
Haha, we did EXACTLY the same for number 19. ;)
