Jackman has always been my favorite of his "generation" of RC composers (in which I also include Balfe, Djawadi, Örvarsson, Margeson and Streitenfeld - the ones who broke out about a decade ago). I think he's the best orchestral writer other than Powell and I always appreciate the clean, organic sound of his scores - like with Powell's scores, Jackman's orchestra always sounds real and clearly distinct from the electronics, unlike Balfe and Zimmer himself who use samples a lot more and blur things in the middle. That's true even of scores of his I don't like, such as Winter Soldier.

I do wish he'd stop stripping the electronics off of tracks for his album releases though. That seems like a strange way to address the criticisms he got for Winter Soldier - kind of missing the point.Any plans for a concert in Denmark (Boxen, Herning) ?I like this score!!!

Henry is very good in my opinion. I always liked his scores even when others didn't.

And I'm really excited for Jumanji: The Next Level!!!Neither Romer or Balfe are scoring Bond 25I want to say that test screening version of Ghost in the Shell deleted one geisha character who was under orders of Cutter to follow the Major and in the original third act, she fought Aramaki when he stormed into Cutter's Holo room after killing his guards. Aramaki survives and the scene continues as shown. Because of the poor reception of what I call "The Philosophical Cut", the geisha character was removed and there were quick reshoots of all of the conversations between Cutter and Aramaki minus the geisha character involvement.
The report about Romer leaving wasn't even confirmed, so I think it's just people wanting the expected to happen at this point.lol no he’s notLast week, the IMDb page said Joseph Trapanese is scoring it and next week some other composer will probably be listed there. Amazing that some people still think of IMDb as a reliable source for this kind of info.More Cannons!, 2:14 - Jack Sparrow theme from PotC?Ramin Djawadi will compose The Eternals
Well, "No Time To Die" (Bond 25) is being scored by Dan Romer. So, No; he is not scoring it.This is Balfe’s best music yet for sure and shows a side to his musical skills we don’t get to hear much I think.
It’s been interesting reading posts about Balfe doing Bond.Has he confirmed yet if he is ?Why would I ever do that ?

Tracklist is the real one... -_-New trailer for the Sonic movie.
https://youtu.be/szby7ZHLnkAIs there any chance of a concert in London?
i mean, the page, would you update with the tracklist posted years ago? What.Un artiste qui a une force mais d'une puissance ! Bravo depuis la France !@Hybrid would you update the complete score with the new tracklist? Thankswhat happened here?. Track 4 Bunker Bust and Track 14 River mission are the exact same track. The game itself has a couple of good themes that didn't make it onto the album.

Leviathan, King Dies and Crystal Chamber are little masterpiece. This film is too underrated, so James Newton Howard is

Yes, this score is fantastic. "Touring the City" is also a masterpiece.

How the hell does this have a fan average of 2 out of 5? Incredible score!

I think fans prefer the FYC promo that this one. Some cues like the prologue and the final battle really miss!!

Edmund Meinerts2013-03-07 14:59:26
That's a fair point but I still don't think you should give the score two stars because of it - most of the truly incredible stuff (the Leviathan cue and the tracks from Secret Swim to Just Do It) is on there. Plus the final battle cue and the Leviathan track are kind of redundant.

Most folks here don't like scores that aren't mindless droning ;)

tomPoland2013-03-08 19:13:36
It's better than every RPC score, so Zimmer fanboys rate it low.

Edmund Meinerts2013-03-09 13:02:02
While I don't think the sun shines out of Hans Zimmer's ass like a lot of folks seem to, I do wonder what the pair of you, Trent and Tom, are doing around a site like this if you think so lowly of RCP. Bit ironic, isn't it? ;)

tomPoland2013-03-09 14:40:20
Because it's fun:)

Trent Easton Navarro2013-03-11 15:32:30
Because I do think highly of Media Ventures and Hans' older stuff. And because, like Tom said, it's fun :P
