Any news on season 2 soundtrack? LG, Jakob.Seems like this is going to be a Dark Phoenix situation where we don't have a tracklist, release date or cover until the week the movie releases. <br><br>I wonder if it's because Miller is still locking down the final cut and Tom's still scoring. Either way, definitely looking forward to this and the movie.Jackman's name has been taken off the IMDb page for Black Widow, so might just be one of those typical IMDb errors (I remember they had him up as the composer for Mission: Impossible - Fallout too).Thats not as annoying a difference as the choral elements for Electro's Death being so muted in the sessions.
Everan, this doesn't make any sense, actually, "I'm Electro" is the film version of "Itsy Bitsy Spider Theme", if you watch the scene in the movie again, you will notice that the film version has the little fragment at the 0:13 seconds mark of "I'm Electro", while the unreleased "Itsy Bitsy Spider" listed here doesn't have it, better saying, "I'm Electro" is actually the true film version of "Itsy Bitsy Spider", while the version we know is just a Alternate.You can find it easily on Youtube today, by the way, I can't find the alternate of Electro Showdown Part 1.mpolonest123, actually "unused source" is listed here, it's just with a different name "Farewell", I guess it was meant to be used between "Sins of The Fathers" and "Max Electrocuted", also, you've mentioned a film version of Norman's death song (Which is "Sins of The Fathers"), and If I'm not wrong, that track has just one version...Anonymous, I think he's referring to the film version of "Spidey Logo", the one in the official album releaseDT-2017, The film version of "Harry's Transformation" mixes "Sum Total" with the part between 2:04 and 2:58 from "Special Projects", but with less instruments and a additional electric guitar. I actually like both versions, if you hear the film version, it actually sounds like it was just edited in last hour to fit in the scene, while the version in the album, I'm almost sure it was meant to be used in the full scene, you know, the uncut scene, with the parts as Harry's teeth growing, his column being fused (or whatever is that thing), he looking at the screen, and more...but then they deleted the fragments, and for Zimmer the last hour plan was just throw the intense part of "Special Projects" into the song, and for me, that worked well, I would like to hear the Intense parts of the two alternates of "Harry's Transformation" isolated.
There’s a 3-minute clip of the truck chase on YouTube and I have to say the score sounds pretty cool. A lot of string/percussion work with an awesome electronic motif for the new “Terminator” model. Also, Brad Fiedel’s theme is back. ;)Hmmm, where do you have found the alternate of Electro Showdown Part 1? And what is the track "Farewell"? It is meant to be related to the Norman osborn scene? More likely "Sins of the Fathers" track?, I think not, because the track in that scene is 3 minutes long, while this "Farewell" is just 1 minute long<br>Also, you missed some tracks: Film Version of "Electro Showdown Part 2", Film Version of "Itsy Bitsy Spider" (which is actually the original version of the Album mix, yeah that one which was cut and renamed to "I'm Electro), an Alternate of "Truck Chase", and "Sins of the Fathers" which I mentioned before.<br>There's also two more alternates of "Flying Montage", one which is just 40 seconds long, and the film version, which doesn't have anything to do with the original version and the two alternates listed here.<br>And yeah, we can't forget about the second alternate of "I'm Spiderman" which is the film version of the track, and it was actually released in the album mix!Isn't his problem when people like Bruckheimer wanted a specific sound and give no freedom in his movies.<br><br>He works for what is given.I think Lorne already has enough noise behind her, for my liking I should start to give way to quality instead of quantity.ASCAP shows that "Farewell To Lilliput" is credited to Jackman/Willis. Is it correct or there is only Jackman? Just thought may be there is a typo on the site.
Any news on the soundtrack for Jack Ryan season 2?I was hoping for Ramin Djawadi to compose The Eternals, well Joseph Trapanese is a good composer so its good news.John powell is flying lowkey now which sucks, His X3 score is just jaw dropping. The Eternals would be perfect for him cause he'd make it epic but Joseph Trapanese is scoring that Surprised Jablonsky hasn't tackled DC or Marvel yet eitherDamn i miss Klaus, he needs a damn come back. Stupid talentedpush...<br><br>please add them...

Hey Guys, have you seen Tom Hardy's first photo from The Dark Knight Rises?, Its Awesome.

Dakota2011-05-23 02:37:51
Honestly, I was expecting more. I thought it was alright, but it could have been a bit more revealing.....

Anonymous2011-05-23 03:26:31
what is this photo you speak of?

Dakota2011-05-23 05:13:30
It's like a rear-view profile shot. You see his back and he's looking back at you. He has the mask on. You can only see a quarter of his face, but you can tell it's Tom Hardy

David2011-05-23 05:14:04
I thought it was awesome. Same with the whole "the fire rises" audio clip. They're teasing us, for sure, but I think it's in a great way.

David, what is this "the fire rises" clip? Also, the word is that the teaser will be attached to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, pt. II

It's the beginning of an ARG. Open the file in spectral view (with cool edit or similar) for the first clue.

Don't have any Dark Knight scores, but in general I think the retagging problem happens when "Read only" is checked in the audio file?

Gus reply Replies: 0 || 2011-01-03 00:00:00
I'm not sure. That's what I thought too. VLC is the only program that can play the tracks though. I can't even drag them into itunes. :(

Gus reply Replies: 0 || 2011-01-02 00:00:00
@Dakota

I also have this 46 track score. Thanks a lot by the way, whoever made this.

however a couple of the tracks I have are corrupted files that I can't tag. Are you having this issue too?

@Dakota
I know there are some of my versions out there too (one or two). But I'm always looking for more.

Dakota reply Replies: 0 || 2010-12-26 00:00:00
If you made the 46-track version that I listed below, then thank you very very much. I simply can't believe it exists, weather it's real or fake. I love it either way.

Anonymous reply Replies: 0 || 2010-12-26 00:00:00
@ Dakota
Yes in fact i did make that one lol :)
I remember making it a long time ago

r&w reply Replies: 0 || 2010-11-03 00:00:00
@ Dakota, yeah, I presumed that you weren't allowed to tell me the exact source, I just wondered if it makes sense to search for it or not. Unfortunately I haven't found it but thank you for your kind answer.

@ Per, I bought the official releases, and you might be right that they contain all the cues but when I'm watching the movie I just feel there's a bit more in it. But you are right, I couldn't name a piece. Probably it's just the play of senses, that the visual experience is added to the auditory and it sounds like a more enjoyable cue...

Per reply Replies: 0 || 2010-11-02 00:00:00
I know a good and easy way to get it, and it's legal too... just buy the official release(s) !

Unless someone can prove me wrong, this is just another of those fake fan made versions made from the official 2CD release... Just edits and even repeated stuff from the official CDs. Some like to have it like this, edited to make it as close as possible to how it is in the film, and that is perfectly alright. But it's still just a edit, not a real version...

Maybe there's a slight chance some of the cues in it are in fact real, but most likely if there's some stuff not on the official release in there, it's most likely just taken from some other sources, such as the DVD, or composer site clips or whatever, like usually with these kind of things.

But if someone can name me a real unreleased cue in it, or at least a cue they think are real, I would appreciate it.

Dakota reply Replies: 0 || 2010-11-02 00:00:00
@ r&w, not it's not, I found it online. I can't remember where, and even if I did, I'm not allowed to say. I would love to share it with you, believe me but I can't. I found it only a few months ago, so just google it. I'm sure you'll find it somewhere. There is also another version out there which has fewer tracks, but they are longer. It's about the same length, but I prefer this one, it's more exact. It's like there's a track for every scene. It's fantastic. It's against regulations on this site to give away how to get these without buying them, and the site regulators don't like it. I'm actually very surprised one of them didn't respond to you saying "ebay", like they usually do. I really hope you find it, it is truely amazing.

Dakota reply Replies: 0 || 2010-07-13 00:00:00
There are many versions of the "Complete" Score out there. The one I have is one disc, comprised of 46 tracks, 423.1 Megabytes, and 2 hours, 55 minutes, and 41 seconds total. And it's completely SFX free. It's a Godsend. Here's the tracklist:

1.) Bank Robbery (Prologue) (6:26)
2.) Because He's Busy (1:41)
3.) Buyer Beware (2:54)
4.) No Limtis (2:55)
5.) White Knight (2:17)
6.) Kill The Batman (3:04)
7.) Why So Serious? (3:00)
8.) Welcome To Honk Kong (1:55)
9.) Break In (3:51)
10.) Agressive Expansion (4:59)
11.) Party Crashers (2:52)
12.) Watch The World Burn (2:00)
13.) Blackmail (2:51)
14.) Dishonor Guard (2:51)
15.) Blood On My Hands (4:51)
16.) The Right Choice (3:27)
17.) Hit Me! (3:10)
18.) Interrogation (2:34)
19.) Two-Way Race (6:56)
20.) Harvey Two-Face (1:41)
21.) Better Class oOf Criminal (2:37)
22.) Introduce A Little Anarchy (5:58)
23.) Resignation - Unlucky (5:23)
24.) The Ferries (4:27)
25.) Hostages & Clowns (2:23)
26.) Building Seige (3:43)
27.) Verge Of Fireworks (5:31)
28.) Morality Of Chance (4:16)
29.) Set The Dogs On Me (3:54)
30.) End Credits (7:23)
31.) Watchful Guardian (Alternate) (0:46)
32.) Always A Catch (Alternate) (0:54)
33.) Heroic Theme (Alternate) (3:20)
34.) Epic Theme (Alternate) (0:22)
35.) Joker Suite (Alternate) (9:14)
36.) Harvey Dent Suite (Alternate) (6:17)
37.) The Dark Knight Suite (Alternate) (7:48)
38.) Ferry Suite (Alternate) (4:25)
39.) Chaos Suite (Alternate) (3:22)
40.) Harvey's Theme (Alternate) (1:18)
41.) Why So Serious? (The Crystal Method Remix) (5:30)
42.) Poor Choice Of Words (Paul Van Dyk Remix) (6:15)
43.) Gunpowder & Gasoline (Mel Wesson Remix) (4:34)
44.) Rory's First Kiss (Ryeland Allison Remix) (6:04)
45.) The Dark Knight Trailer (Performed by Groove Addicts) (1:30)
46.) Interrogation (Alternate) [Extended] (3:06)

Tracks 41-46 are included on the 2-Disc Special Edition. I know that the entire score is labelad as "Hans Zimmer & James Newton Howard", but I was wondering if anyone knows which tracks are individually composed by them. I saw a video that has Hans performing the more tense, action pieces while James does the dramatic piano. It's obvious to tell when you are listening to them individually, but I wanted to know for sure. It's a shame this beautiful score could not even get nominated for an Academy Award due to the stupid Academy regulations of it being performed by both of them, and not one (which is why Batman Begins could not get anything either). It truly is an amazing piece of work, unlike ANYTHING I have ever heard. There is a reason why Hans Zimmer is my favorite film composer of all time. I Love You Hans.

Just wanted to say a big thank you and congratulations... Oh, please, excuse my english, I'm french...
I'm a big, big fan of Batman. And your music is right, is so good, with the soul of Gotham City, and the soul of Batman.
Nolan's film is wonderful because of himself, the actors, all the men who have worked for it, but really because of your music too.
Each time, when I'm watching this film, I can't do anything else, I stay here and I'm feeling all emotions that the characters are feeling. And after watching it, I need silence. I just feel like listening to your soundtrack, or nothing else.
Thank you for all these emotions, for the pleasure you give us to be send in the universe of Gotham.
Congratulations.
And really, really sorry for my bad english...
Bye
Emilie

How could a human create something like this, track 14 what an unbelievable track specially from 4:23 to 7:06, if all the composers in the whole world united to create something as incredible as this, they wouldn't create something with that beauty. Love you Hans/James Love you Love you Love you :)
