You did it for the complete, which is "illegal" and only available in certain circles, not the OST which is commercially available. I simply did what you could have done yourself easily but chose not to.Says the guy who took his intel from... me...Excuse me for doing the thing you didn't bother to do.Having an opinion is one thing. Not being intellectually able to express it without being rude & stupid is another thing. Once you find a way to combine the two, your comments will stay.<br><br>And Knight, just don't push it.Hello all. My mother is a French horn player, and we are totally in love with Hans' score for Disney's "The Lone Ranger" (the best part of that film, if you ask me). I have searched for the horn sheet music for this, but can't seem to find anything...does anyone know where I might get it? Thanks much!!
huh?1- Open - (Hans Zimmer 1:03) - (1:04 -2:27- Lorne Balfe), and continue Hans Zimmer music. 2:27-2:58Also calling jumanji (the one jackman scored) anything but a good film - is also illegal and gets your comment removedOkay, so doing the same stuff that Hybrid does is illegal here now. CoolTrue, Mr. Tweedy. I don't know how involved Hans was with Now We Are Free, but he specifically talked about Up is Down at one point. And while he did give Henry Jackman credit for the penny whistle stuff, his comment was something like, "And Henry and I just jammed with the theme a bit after he came up with that idea" (unfortunately the link to the interview, on the POTC3 page here, is dead). So Up is Down sounds like a co-composition from the two. I wouldn't be surprised if it were the same way with Lorne Balfe and the Action Ice Theme. <br><br>But we'll never know. lol.
I get what you're saying Mike, but much of the action material in the section you mentioned is just stylized versions of the Batman ostinato, and 2 giant chunks of the action music were used in the film. The section with the new "Rise" theme was used in the Batman & Catwoman tunnel fight, and "Backup" was used several times in the film, just not in that exact style. <br><br>The section after the stylized "Backup" sounds more like rejected Bane material to me, so I'm not entirely sure if that counts. I do agree however that Hans' new climactic version of the 2 note motif should have been included throughout the finale though. Would have resolved the film better than the recycled "LSI Extraction" bit.The "Up is Down" track from POTC3 is used in the "Live" concert as well and it was arranged by Henry Jackman.<br>"Now We Are Free" is in the concert as well and was mainly arranged by Klaus Badelt...@superultramegaa, <br><br>Most of the awesome action material in Moody Bruce, from 4:46-15:03, is unused. Also, the last 5 minutes, with Hans' epic new take on the 2-note Batman theme (which he adds a third note two and concludes in big style) is totally unused. <br><br>@anonymous,<br><br>I actually agree with the observations you're making. Lorne didn't write like that in 2008, really, and the suite does sound like Hans' music, even if I just argued that it's unlikely he'd go that musical direction for this movie. And Hybrid has said... it's his (Hybrid's) opinion. The suite may just be Hans, and Hybrid's not saying differently. Hybrid has even admitted he's been wrong on credits before, so it's not like he's saying these are "the facts." Now that I think about it, the suite was used in HZ Live, so that tells me Hans must have been involved in composing it. Because the concerts really gravitate toward Hans' personal work.If you watch it rightfull, this here is the second onewait what when did jumangi 2 come out
Anybody knows if Henry Jackman will come back for Jumanji 3??Do you by any chance know which cues Mancina worked on aside from The Last Race?Checked ASCAP and BMI for credits on this, found the following:<br><br>All co-written with Wataru Hokoyama.<br>Ragnarok Suite<br>Running Short on Options<br>Thor: Ragnarok<br>Hela vs. Asgard<br>Where Am I?<br>The Vault<br>Where To? (contains a theme by Patrick Doyle)<br>Can't wait to see what Ramin has prepared for us.The release better have at least 2 CDs or we riot

I'd actually love to buy the Soundtrack from iTunes where it was released yesterday, but given that I'm from Germany I can't. Why? Well because it is only available from the US iTunes Store. So what now? Is there any estimate on when or if the Soundtrack is going to be released on international iTunes stores?!? Please say they'll have it tomorrow!!! PLEEAAASE ;)

Per reply Replies: 0 || 2008-07-30 00:00:00
Why do you want to buy it from crappy iTunes ? You can get it on Amazon in CD quality for a descent prize...

Anonymous reply Replies: 0 || 2008-07-30 00:00:00
Because international shipping is almost a price of a CD and you can't order anything else - then you have to pay custom duties :(

For a CD-R they could drop price at least to 8-9$

Those import limits are really annoying, I know ... I can do perhaps 2 CDs, so I save some shipping on that ... But I rather spend $20 on getting it on a CD (lossless), than $10 on bad, low quality mp3's (or aac, whatever used).

I'd say $9.99 for mp3/aac is way more prizy than $13.99 for a CD-R.

Only times I may buy a download release (and then I certainly don't do it on iTunes, but rather Amazon), is if that's the only thing available, and I like to support the labels/artists by doing so ... however, when that's said, I have no problem with making CD-R copies of that to others who are unable to purchase the stuff for obvious reasons...

Per reply Replies: 0 || 2008-07-30 00:00:00
Eh, what I wrote might sound a bit confusing ... just to clearify, I'm not from the US, so if/when I would like to purchase from Amazon's MP3 Store (..and that's only if it's something that's not made available on CD), I of course need someone to help me out with the purchase, since I'm not able to buy directly from them myself...

This message is for David Buckley:

When i say this i speak for everyone. Its not your fault on how or when this score is released, and as much as everyone is looking forward to this the bottom line is.... we are soooo greatful you composed a Super and Special Score for a movie millions around the world have been looking forward to for years.

Absolute Genius with Great Talent.

Thank you

You mean a CD-R release. I want this score, but I think the price is a bit too high + international shipping.

Almost for the same price I got Hulk 2 CD-R.

Mike reply Replies: 0 || 2008-07-16 00:00:00
Heres whats on Amazon:

$15.99 for Pre-order. Releases on July 22. Im just happy this soundtrack gets a CD release. I am a very happy camper.

David Buckley reply Replies: 0 || 2008-07-13 00:00:00
Some answers. So yes it will be CDR (that's just the way it is - not my choice!) But it will be lossless, so that is good. No idea of price. Hope all will become clear next week.

Anonymous reply Replies: 0 || 2008-07-12 00:00:00
Well, Amazon uses AZO CDRs.

Azo CD-Rs are typically rated with a lifetime of decades.

And of course you need high quality writer.

I wonder what will be the price of this CD-R?

Per reply Replies: 0 || 2008-07-12 00:00:00
What's the problem with CD-R(s) ?

Of course it won't have the same collection/trade value as with a real pressed disc... but isn't it the music that's most important ? I'd rather have a CD-R release (which is not sourced from a lossy source ... can anyone, like Mr. Buckley himself perhaps, confirm that the CD release won't be from a lossy source ?), than a low quality download only release.

And the thingy about CD-Rs is bad because they don't last as long as pressed disc's is just bulls**t ... naturally they doesn't last as long as a real pressed disc, but it's up to each and everyone as to how long they would like the music to last...

Anonymous reply Replies: 0 || 2008-07-12 00:00:00
It will be released on a CD-R :(

Many thanks Amazon.

I need a cover to make the page of the actual official OST LOL ! :P

It looks like the amazon thing will kick in next week and itunes the following week. So yes, frustratingly, even more delays. Sorry!

Sylvos reply Replies: 0 || 2008-07-11 00:00:00
No signs of this yet. Has there been a change in the release plan?

PROPER reply Replies: 0 || 2008-07-09 00:00:00
Hallo Leute!! ist der Soundtrack heute nun rausgekommen oder nicht???

Jason reply Replies: 0 || 2008-07-03 00:00:00
The format of the Amazon release would more than likely be on CDR if Mr. Buckley is going to be utilizing Amazon's Createspace.com services. Hopefully he would consider to have them pressed at some point insteadas most collectors/enthusiasts are not favorable with the CDR lifespan.

Mike reply Replies: 0 || 2008-06-29 00:00:00
Im happy to hear it is finally going to be released. I was about to send out emails of complaint.
