Personally, I don´t think that Aruj and Thum got a chance (or time) to write anything for this film, but I may be wrong... who knowsIn which tracks does William's sad theme appear?Alright, these are my speculations on the credits for this version, mixed with what we already know about it from Soundclouds/websites/etc.

What we know:
Luke Richards - Today We Hunt, Running Out Of Tomorrows, Ospreys
Lorne Balfe - Battlefield

Gary Dworetsky - Final 50 seconds of Calling All Autobots

My personal speculation:
David Fleming - Drone Chase, Dive

Gary Dworetsky - History of Transformers

Max Aruj & Steffen Thum - Vivian Follows Merlin, Claim The Staff

I have no sources to back this up, these are just my guesses based on what I feel these composers' styles are.I watched the movie yesterday. Unfortunately,the songs are in Portuguese here, in Brazil (even "Spirit"! ). But Hans' work is still amazing, intense, he's stolen the show again!Saw the movie but never listened to the score, is it worth listening to?
This complete album sound like Lit!! I like to hear about this album in one day soon.I just hope they bring back William's sad theme and other variations of Dolores's theme which were unreleased in season 2It is, actually, completely in correct order. There's just 5 theme suites here & there.Okay, I want this. Where, how much? lol

And I'm willing to bet that even those Jablonsky fans who didn't like the score wanna hear the complete album.@Ahmad i think end credits :P
Do you know the chronological order for this one Hybrid? I had quick glance at the complete here and the OST album seems massively out of order16 hours of music?
Can we hear those 16 hours of music one day?I saw the film today. It's amazing and wonderful. The feeling and emotions of the 1994 film keep untouchables. The score is simply breathtaking. The songs are incredible. The stampede scene is so intense just like the 1994. Hans has made an intense, epic and beautiful score.Additional arrangements instead of additional music? Even part of the score not on album?Because if the film is an american production, it has no choice but be recorded in the US... That's the rule...

When the film is a UK co-production, and/or partly shot in the UK etc... (like, for instance, every Nolan film, or King Arthur), it can be recorded in the UK... That's why it's way easier to get an expanded set of The Dark Knight or Interstellar than... the POTC saga...

I remember the AFM (American Federation of Musicians) wasn't pleased when Interstellar got recorded at Air Studios in London, claiming it had to be US Recorded... But Nolan's a brit, Syncopy is a British operation based in London...
> You gotta realize one thing, this score is US recorded so every new 15 min of score you release, you gotta pay back reuse fees. So it's very complicated & costy and that's why they released "only" 15 min of extra score.

> If it was recorded in the UK, they could have released 2 hours of bonus tracks it wouldn't have cost anything more... :)

Wow, I didn't know that. So, why not record every movie in the UK/Europe then? Not sure how long it will take but I think this re-use fee will drop once they record every score outside the US.
However, how much money did the movie make in the Boxoffice and Home Entertainment? I'm sure that money can't be an issue here.

How cool would it be to officially buy the sessions in a collectors box (in general for all movies), signed by the composer and director and maybe cast members... I'm sure that could be sold for $200+. The studios are wasting an opportunity here... Sure, you can copy music but you can't copy the signatures.That's exactley what I thought.

There was one other thing I thought was great.

I went with my parents, who have heard Zimmer's music, from when I'm listening to it, but they said to me that you can hear, that it's him, without even knowing all of his music.
They said, the thematic content, the bombast of it, it is just pure Zimmer.

Hope Spongebob & Wonder Woman 1984 are with a large orchestral/choir ensemble, and with WW1984 some 80's synths!!Having seen it, the biggest thing I realized was that I missed this kind of scoring in movies. When the HZ of the 90s-2000s left in favor of experiments, it seems no one replaced him, so this area of "big sounding scores with instantly memorable and beautiful themes" has just been abandoned. Hopefully seeing/hearing this version of The Lion King now will give some ideas to executives/directors regarding musical choices!No GITS cannot be released, it's technically not possible... That's why Lorne leaked his part of the score himself...This is great news.Maybe Balfe’s scores to Ghost in the Shell now can get released.
Over 6000 people have signed the petition for Ghost.

I'd actually love to buy the Soundtrack from iTunes where it was released yesterday, but given that I'm from Germany I can't. Why? Well because it is only available from the US iTunes Store. So what now? Is there any estimate on when or if the Soundtrack is going to be released on international iTunes stores?!? Please say they'll have it tomorrow!!! PLEEAAASE ;)

Per reply Replies: 0 || 2008-07-30 00:00:00
Why do you want to buy it from crappy iTunes ? You can get it on Amazon in CD quality for a descent prize...

Anonymous reply Replies: 0 || 2008-07-30 00:00:00
Because international shipping is almost a price of a CD and you can't order anything else - then you have to pay custom duties :(

For a CD-R they could drop price at least to 8-9$

Those import limits are really annoying, I know ... I can do perhaps 2 CDs, so I save some shipping on that ... But I rather spend $20 on getting it on a CD (lossless), than $10 on bad, low quality mp3's (or aac, whatever used).

I'd say $9.99 for mp3/aac is way more prizy than $13.99 for a CD-R.

Only times I may buy a download release (and then I certainly don't do it on iTunes, but rather Amazon), is if that's the only thing available, and I like to support the labels/artists by doing so ... however, when that's said, I have no problem with making CD-R copies of that to others who are unable to purchase the stuff for obvious reasons...

Eh, what I wrote might sound a bit confusing ... just to clearify, I'm not from the US, so if/when I would like to purchase from Amazon's MP3 Store (..and that's only if it's something that's not made available on CD), I of course need someone to help me out with the purchase, since I'm not able to buy directly from them myself...

This message is for David Buckley:

When i say this i speak for everyone. Its not your fault on how or when this score is released, and as much as everyone is looking forward to this the bottom line is.... we are soooo greatful you composed a Super and Special Score for a movie millions around the world have been looking forward to for years.

Absolute Genius with Great Talent.

Thank you

You mean a CD-R release. I want this score, but I think the price is a bit too high + international shipping.

Almost for the same price I got Hulk 2 CD-R.

Mike reply Replies: 0 || 2008-07-16 00:00:00
Heres whats on Amazon:

$15.99 for Pre-order. Releases on July 22. Im just happy this soundtrack gets a CD release. I am a very happy camper.

David Buckley reply Replies: 0 || 2008-07-13 00:00:00
Some answers. So yes it will be CDR (that's just the way it is - not my choice!) But it will be lossless, so that is good. No idea of price. Hope all will become clear next week.

Anonymous reply Replies: 0 || 2008-07-12 00:00:00
Well, Amazon uses AZO CDRs.

Azo CD-Rs are typically rated with a lifetime of decades.

And of course you need high quality writer.

I wonder what will be the price of this CD-R?

Per reply Replies: 0 || 2008-07-12 00:00:00
What's the problem with CD-R(s) ?

Of course it won't have the same collection/trade value as with a real pressed disc... but isn't it the music that's most important ? I'd rather have a CD-R release (which is not sourced from a lossy source ... can anyone, like Mr. Buckley himself perhaps, confirm that the CD release won't be from a lossy source ?), than a low quality download only release.

And the thingy about CD-Rs is bad because they don't last as long as pressed disc's is just bulls**t ... naturally they doesn't last as long as a real pressed disc, but it's up to each and everyone as to how long they would like the music to last...

Anonymous reply Replies: 0 || 2008-07-12 00:00:00
It will be released on a CD-R :(

Many thanks Amazon.

It looks like the amazon thing will kick in next week and itunes the following week. So yes, frustratingly, even more delays. Sorry!

Sylvos reply Replies: 0 || 2008-07-11 00:00:00
No signs of this yet. Has there been a change in the release plan?

PROPER reply Replies: 0 || 2008-07-09 00:00:00
Hallo Leute!! ist der Soundtrack heute nun rausgekommen oder nicht???

Jason reply Replies: 0 || 2008-07-03 00:00:00
The format of the Amazon release would more than likely be on CDR if Mr. Buckley is going to be utilizing Amazon's Createspace.com services. Hopefully he would consider to have them pressed at some point insteadas most collectors/enthusiasts are not favorable with the CDR lifespan.

Mike reply Replies: 0 || 2008-06-29 00:00:00
Im happy to hear it is finally going to be released. I was about to send out emails of complaint.
