Here is a short interview with Hans about Last Samurai. It's a little but I think it could be interesting for you.

https:/ /www.soundtrack.net/ content/article/?id=1 12Great movie and great music...
Does anybody knows what song is running during the "love scene"?Barcelona, pleaseeee!!!Are there any Interviews were Hans talks about Last Samurai? Somehow I can't find any video or text interviews or anything... there must be something. Thanks!Sadly Last Samurai wasn't featured in World of Hans Zimmer Concert.
Btw do we have info on Who will score Snyder's next movie? I dont see him going back down to Bates, and if it was HZ or JXL I think we would know it already...Yes please, do not forget Barcelona!Hans is not used to making concerts in Catalunya :( We'll have to travel again, or just wait for new dates...Actually thinking about it, Bates was probably busy with GOTG to do anything for RofE.It was post MoS, so it was likely he picked him based on that (though it's also possible bringing back Bates might've been a risk post the debacle with the previous film).
No concert in Barcelona ?And Snyder didn't bring Bates back due to the whole Plagiarism thing, or he just brought Tom as a last minute replacement?Soundtrack album from season 5 is out... that came out of nowhere@Macejko Someone leaks with a torrent website, but, I can't put the information on Jusid's score on this website, I just let you know about it. @Hybrid Soldier is correct too.holy crap! Sounds like Spielberg taking over Tobe Hooper on Poltergeist
Out in NZ

https:/ /music.apple.com/nz/album/jumanji-the-next-level-original -motion-picture-soundtrack/1 490342758Paul: Where did you find Jusidīs score?
Hybrid: Really? Where did you hear that?Snyder got Junkie in. He was absolutely displeased with what Noam Murro was doing so he took over directing and basically did the movie uncredited. He asked Junkie for a quick rescore...Oh snap, I found out about replaced by Federico Jusid's rejected score from 300 rise of an empire is available, I think Junkie XL with is better fit for this soundtrack.just saw No Time to Die trailer and the music sounds so much like itīs Junkie, or somebody just stole his drum sample libraries

It's been a long time since I haven't been that enthusiastic about 30-second samples! I can't wait for this to be released!
Please, relieve us from pain!
Anyway, great first solo attempt!

Your tracklist isn't wrong Nash, but Buckley himself told us that they updated it... :-)

Hybrid Soldier reply Replies: 0 || 2008-05-19 00:00:00
Well I don't know really...

According to the Lionsgate website, it WILL come out (but no release date, just a coming soon :S)...

According to David's e-mails, it's not sure at all... He is not really confident... It seems nobody is really interested in releasing it...

So wait & see...

I suppose if the composer himself isn't confident, then the score could really go to the shelves of the studio warehouse, instead of taking it's place on our shelves among the collection.
What a waste, long time since I've heard such an enjoyable MV style score.
Of course I hope i can get my hands on the promo, but it is not the same, as having the official release in your hands.

I contacted Mr. Buckley, who told me that the cd is in production, and it is definitely being released!

David Buckley reply Replies: 0 || 2008-05-19 00:00:00
It WILL BE RELEASED. 100% certain. NO DOUBT. Just finalising details. Over an hour of score... Will let you know as soon as I do, and I hope that will be very soon...

All best

Dave

Hi Hybrid!

Did Buckley tell You what's up with the official release?

Feared reply Replies: 0 || 2008-05-18 00:00:00
I've just finished the movie. It was great so was the score. Like Pirates Of The Caribbean meats The Promise.
The theme was typical chinese, the motif for the 'evil girl' had a definite Morricone touch. The action cues sounded hauntingly like the action material from POTC, just with chinese arrangement.
All in all, a very enjoyable score from Buckley.
I hope Lionsgate releases the score in the near future!

The extract of Track 17 sounds like Batman Begins, I guess everyone from Remote Control can't help taking samples from Zimmer scores huh?

I enjoyed the score in the movie, and I hope I can pick it up soon.

I hope it will be available soon... :S
