Great find, Sylvos. The track is heard between Jetfire's exposition on the Prime's history and the scene with Sam and Mikaela at the pyramids. In my post in the forum i call it NR 20 – “Run Like an Egyptian”.
Yes, i have split the channels and am in the process of cutting them, following the list i posted in the forum... more or less. With these better files and with no dialogue over them, i've had to reacess some of the NR clips. As soon as i have the time i'll update the post. As others have posted, though, the resulting clips are far from perfect, nowhere near the quality of the first movie's Promo/bootleg release. Lots of FX and some Autobot dialogue remain. Still, it's a lot better than what we've got now. Someone with better skills might be able to get better results.
wait? I think there won't be any bootleg release from reprise records or remote. They released the score cd and the soundtrack and that's it. It's done. next release is Elm Street. the ROTF is over.
lots of fx... Not a really good result.. Even right and left channels are full of sfx.. But 'Arrival to Earth' remakes are amazing like 'Prime' alternations which are just perfect.
The DVD and BR Rips have been on the web for over a week with 5.1Ch. As have no idea what the source is but they're awesome. I will buy the original but its always nice to have a digital copy to watch in my WD TV box.
5.1??? Do you have the original dvd??? How?? release date is oct 20. don't tell me you get it from the web because maybe its good quaility but not the same. I think we should wait 20th and then try, but yes i'm a huge Jablonsky fan but i want to listen this great music very loud with my HiFi
I think all DVD and BR movies should come with an isolated music track. That would solve the problem, mostly. As for being impossible to get an almost clean soundtrack, i have seen some that have been done that way. But it takes someone with an actual understanding of how this stuff works and far better software than what i have. They're not perfect, some layers of music, mostly bass, are lost, but they're quite audible. I extracted 6 tracks labeled FL,FR (presume these are Front channels), C (Center?, mostly isolated dialogue), LFE (No idea what that one does and mostly it has no sound at all), SL and SR (???). FL, FR, Sr and SL have varying degrees of SFX, i'm thinkisg a mix of two or more of these and some creative trimming might work out to some kind of audible result. But it will take quite some time.
I want AN OFFICIAL RELEASE OF BOTH TRANSFORMERS SCORES IN FULL. I'LL BE HAPPY TO BUY THEM.
anyone here that can clean dialogue and FX from a 5.1Ch track? I got it and split the 6 Channels into individual tracks, That gets rid of some dialogue in certain channels but i'm still far from any kind of brilliant result. At least i now have a better understanding of the score and clearer music than before. I'll update my post on the forums accordingly, ASAP.
To those who want to add a new track to their scores go to http://www.stevejablonskyonline.com/. They have posted an unreleased exclusive track named "Megatron Awakens (Original Unused Track)". Very dark and eerie, with hints of the original "Decepticons" theme from TF1. If only they'd release the rest...
Sorry, guys, a small error in my previous post, this new track is actually a previously unreleased track, yes, but from "Transformers", not "Revenge of The Fallen". Still, the point is valid just the same, there is still unreleased material from the first film and, obviously, a lot from the second. RELEASE IT NOW... Please. :)
