It's criminal that Mr Charles, Strategy, and It's a Trap weren't included on the OST. I guess we did get It's a Trap as a bonus track, but it wasn't the film version.Well with that score we got pretty lucky in term of theme suites being released, with 5 of them. I don't know for sure if there's more but I think we have it covered.Hybrid, do you know if any suites were written besides the ones that they released?“Our World” is a pretty amazing track, the “Murph” suite is also incredible just in how it gradually builds to that finale...Dust, Who's They, and Our World are other favorites, for sure. Our World is some fantastic ambient music. Before the film was released, I expected most of the score to sound like "Our World."
Mountains too... The Tick Tock suite.<br><br>"Our World" is a fav' of mine too, how could they not release it ?Coward is amazing. Ntfc is overratedDon’t forget Coward! :DI don't think Cornfield Chase is underappreciated because that is the cue everyone is talking about besides No Time for Caution and Mountains. The most underappreciated cue to me is Dust. The amount of mystery, wonder, and curiosity from that cue is amazing.
The development of the music in season 2 is great.<br>Love the Westworld suite, a lot of Person of Interest in this cue :)<br>Listening With A Million Ears In the West :)Mike, I definitely agree with you. I think that Cornfield Chase is an excellent example of Zimmer's diversity in music. It shows that He can compose themes that are adventurous and light-hearted rather than being so dark, which is quite different from a lot of his works including his other collaborations with Nolan.So everybody talks about No Time for Caution, and that is a great cue, but I think an underappreciated track from this score is Cornfield Chase. It sounds so whimsical and uplifting. It captures the wonder and fun of childhood really well. The fact that it's so driven by the pipe organ makes it even better. I love how Hans incorporated the organ into most of the tracks.Does Paul Mounsey secretly compose everything??? He seems to be involved in so many scores.Hi guys. Do you know who will compose the score of wonder woman 1984 ? Rupert again ? Or hans ?
General Kenobi!Isolated score is coming:<br><br>https://twitter.com/chrismcquarrie/status/103052206820136140 9?s=19I hope the site hasn’t gotten in any trouble for posting the lists :-(I haven't in a long time, you'll notice...@Hybrid I don't get it. You usually post lists anyway when stuff like this happens. Why is it such a big deal when someone else does it?

FYI...

The track in the credits with the heavy drums and guitars is by A Perfect Circle - "Count Bodies Like Sheep To The Rhythm of the War Drums"

Harry Gregson-Williams' scores never cease to amaze me :)

I'm liking this one too. Not too good but the electronics and synths develop a nice, suspenseful atmosphere which I think is suitable for the movie.

The score reminds me too much to Men on Fire and Deju Vu... nothing new and just a temp score... :(

That is simply because the studio licenses source pieces into the movie... at a price.
If they then want to use that same licensed piece on a soundtrack
thats gonna cost the studio even more money & that's why you don't usually get these pieces on soundtracks.... unless the deal done includes a soundtrack release too.

Just saw Pelham 123...nice score but I was blown away by the end creds music....percussion and super guitar track....is it Peter Destefano??? I see he has creds listed fr Pelham 123 on his MySpace page. I want to hear this track again....how can I find it and how do I get it?
If record producers would actually reproduce and market what songs we hear in the movie, the record buying public would be much happier. I cannot tell you the number of soundtracks I have purchased and the songs are NOT the ones in the movie. RIP OFF!

Man I hope this better than the Wolverine score. Seeing how this is a semi techno-thriller. I hope Harry goes back to the awesomeness of Enemy of The State and Spy Game.

Now up on I-Tunes UK, so there is a digital release too.

They don't sell well because they don't market them well. The only way we can find out about scores is through forums like this...that not many people know about. Half the time stores don't even carry them until well after their official release date. Perhaps if studios paid to have them advertised in sale adds they might do better. There are plenty of people out there who want these scores, they just need to make it easier for us to find them!!!!

Anonymous reply Replies: 0 || 2009-06-07 00:00:00
Adrian...
How did you obtain it??? Is there a way we can order it here in the states??? Thanks!

Hybrid Soldier reply Replies: 0 || 2009-06-07 00:00:00
Adriaan is right...

Amazon first sold The Spirit as CD-R, before Silva Screen released a proper pressed CD... :)
