Hybrid soldier. Thanks for playing your part in getting the bonus tracks. Any news on whether any "making of" or studio recording featurettes will feature on the inceptionscore.com (as i am assuming they are the ones that will eventually replace the "coming soon" slots? It would be amazing to see this if available!
Anybody know if a 2CD collector's edition is likely at this point? I'm praying for one like they did with The Dark Knight, because the score was amazing yet definitely incomplete. Anybody have any word on it?
those two bonus tracks are soooo awesome but if it was also the cue from the second trailer, it would be just perfect. so anything possible to get it???
In the film, does 'Half Remembered Dream' play in its entirety at the beginning of the film? I remember the first part playing over the opening logos, but were the last 30 seconds of that track there as well? I don't think they were, but I could be wrong...
'Half Remembered Dream' is the theme for change a level of dream... we can listen it too, when Cobb decides rescue Fisher in the last part of the movie...
@hybridsoldier any word on the second trailer as a track being available in the future, or even something Hans may have wrote (despite it appearing to be a remix of 528491)?
I'm not referring to hempsey's track "mind heist" from the 3rd trailer, I know that isn't zimmer at all.
Actually, I believe at 4:21 in "Don't Think About Elephants" is where Cobb snipes Mal from the tower. The quiet atmospheric synths before that are when Ariadne is trying to convince Cobb that she's not real.
another missing cue that I remember is the entire scene with fischer and cobb in the hotel (when they pull a mr. charles). kinda like the beginning of mombasa except secret-agent-mission style. that cue i'd pay money for. hopefully we see an expanded release or more bonus tracks.
there's one cue missing. This cue is not that long but it worth the shot maybe later. When Saito Cobb and Arthur are in the helicopter in the first quarter of the movie and when arthur explain what an inception is to Saito (how the idea has to be simple) and he uses the "don't think about elephants" theory to him.
this is the best I could do according to the screenplay. it's pretty much impossible to have a clean chronological order because since the score wasn't directly composed for each individual scene everything's edited all over the place. Keep in mind the mere 12-track ost we got is nowhere near complete even with the bonus tracks....
1. Half Remembered Dream 2. Projections 3. One Simple Idea 4. Radical Notion 5. Mombasa (first half) 6. One Simple Idea [again] 7. Paradox [first 3/4s] 8. Mombasa [last half] 8. Dream Within A Dream 9. Don’t Think About Elephants 10. 528491 11. Waiting For A Train 12. 528491 [again] 13. Paradox [last quarter] 14. Time 15. Dream Is Collapsing
I expected the bonus tracks to be 4 minutes in total but in the end it is 12 minutes.
I personally think that the score is fairly complete now. There where other cues in the movie but most of them are variations with more brass or beats of cues what we already have.
Now hopefully Warner does their work better in the future and release stuff at release date; something that was planned and announced in the first place.
I check the scene... and, I say the same: Arthur fights against a projection...
"Don't Think About Elephants": 00:00 - 01:36 (Yusuf drive the van... while projections chase him) then, there is a mix...: 04:21 (scene Arthur fights...) =P I don't lie
