In a recent interview, Junkie mentioned that he's bringing back themes for Superman and Wonder Woman, while everything else is new. I wonder if he's gonna make a new Batman theme.It's true, there is completely different team from composer to director in crossover :)But the film was particularly bad...

So I rather have a whole other team do something ELSE lol...Yeah... McCreary's score is one of the best from last year so I'd rather have him again.I open to ANY composer in this movies.

To answer the question, YES, i'm ready

Specially to a guy, who loves G14, KSi and KOTM
No way. After what Bear McCreary did on King of the Monsters last year I definitely want him back.Atli still has his studio at Remote but mostly works from home in Iceland.

Guillaume game back to settle to Remote a couple of years ago (before he was splitting time between RCP & France).

Heitor still is at RCP as far as I know, haven't heard anything in a while.

Nathan Stornetta left Remote in 2015 (against Hans' will !! :)) cause he didn't fancy much that whole Hollywood business. We'll see.That´s why I asked myself, why dont they ever re-unite like before, so yea, they sometimes doInterestingly, Aljoscha is collaborating a lot with 2WEI these days. The Junkie Team reassembles ! lolOh I see, very interesting! Many thanks for the answer :)

When I watched the movie last week, i did not know, that the music was written by Hans Zimmer. The end of the movie was brilliant both the picture and the music, until that moment, i did not observe what i heard, probably, because the music was perfect to the movie, did not distract my attention from it.

So thanks for the experience. :)

"Warner Bros. Records will make available two previously unreleased bonus tracks to fans who sign up via email at the soundtrack’s website www.inceptionscore.com The two bonus tracks, “Projections” and “Don’t Think About Elephants,” will go live at noon PT on Thursday, August 12th."

Yes!!! Huge thanks to Hans and Hybrid Soldier, here's to hoping both tracks are long and amazing!

The only bad part is that 12:00pm PST is 3:00 EST. :(

@TomPoland it's a disorder. Babypunchitis.

On another note has anyone heard any news on the next batman ost? Here's hoping Zimmer and Howard tear it up again.

Anonymous reply Replies: 0 || 2010-08-10 00:00:00
@JusticCat i'm fairly certain Zimmer is in, but I'm not so sure about Howard. I'm super excited for it, The Dark Knight's soundtrack was phenominal. Hopefully Howard returns (it wouldn't be the same without him) and we get a 2CD set like last time. Can't wait.

Anonymous reply Replies: 0 || 2010-08-10 00:00:00
no doubt we will because im sure its gonna be a big hit like dark knight was. i just hope they will release some bonus music from batman begins in the future too

tomPoland reply Replies: 0 || 2010-08-10 00:00:00
But the 2 CD should be normal edition, not some 'take more money from fans' edition after 4 months. And i can't imagine Batman without Howard's touch and his beautiful themes.

@Kokenovem - you and me both. That song plagues me daily. I'd seriously punch a baby to get that song.

* I DO NOT CONDONE THE PUNCHING OF BABIES, UNLESS THE BABY WAS PUNCHED AS A SIGN OF LOVE TO HANS ZIMMER*

Kidding. . . But seriously, I would. :|

Juste du grand art, comme d'habitude.
Hans Zimmer, mon compositeur préféré depuis ma découverte de Gladiator, et qui est bien parti pour le rester !
Congratulation !

Hi! First, the soundtrack of Inception is, again, another of the masterpieces of Hans...
Second, I'm desperately looking for the song of the second trailer of Inception, Hans Zimmer, ### EDITED ###

tomPoland reply Replies: 0 || 2010-08-08 00:00:00
But Zimmer could say to Nolan: I think your idea isn't very good, let's try something traditional. Or illustrate one scene actually looking at her, not just knowing what it looks like. Just to show he's idea. I think Zimmer has something to say when it comes to composing.

I've watched film once, and to be honest I payed more attention to story than to music and other 'technicalities' so maybe my judgment is not completely fair.

@TomPoland

I think you fail to read what you type, or fail to type what you mean. You said "I think Zimmer should reconsider his approach. Stop this 'standalone' compositions and visit filmset and editor room more often" - implying it was Zimmer's choice to be hands off for Inception. HZGui stated it wasn't Zimmer's choice, you then acknowledged you knew it wasn't Zimmer's choice, and still you stood by your original criticism, which has nothing to do with Zimmer - it has to do with Nolan.

Your comments and viewpoints lose any positive addition to our conversations on here, which honestly is my only gripe with you. I love having another opinion on a subject - But it better be consistent, thought out, and informed.

Your views are welcome - just be a little more consistent, and less negative for the sake of being negative.

Zimmer, you're brilliant ! Love every soundtrack of yours ! Here's a fan from Brazil !

@HZgui
I know all of this. I know what Nolan asked. But I prefer when composer, director and editor meet more often. Not mickey-mousing but I wish that music was connected with picture more. As standalone CD - 4,5/5, in movie - 3/5.

Sometimes this is a good way of working (magnificent Thin Red Line - music was composed before shooting the movie), but in my opinion this time that approach was wrong.

HZgui reply Replies: 0 || 2010-08-05 00:00:00
TomPoland- Have you ever read an interview? Chris Nolan asked Zimmer to write a score without knowing anything about the movie but that it's a movie about dream and mind heist, and without watching anything... So Do not tell Zimme how he must work :).
Look Zimmer works with script generally, he tries to be on the set, to get a lot of info about the movie before starting to write anything about it. This time Nolan push him a little further...

JustinCat reply Replies: 0 || 2010-08-05 00:00:00
A band I play with (ambient rock) are looking into playing songs from inception with a little more of a rock vibe (still will have strings and horns and some synth) - as soon I have some more concrete details Ill post them here. We are thinking of playing at a con next year.

tomPoland reply Replies: 0 || 2010-08-05 00:00:00
When listening - nice very climatic score. But while watching (BTW superb film) it didn't fit very well (IMO of course). Time and Mombasa are fitted best, but the rest... I think Zimmer should reconsider his approach. Stop this 'standalone' compositions and visit filmset and editor room more often. What worked with batman, not necessarily work with non-action movie.

On Hans his facebook page: Hans Zimmer wants to thank everyone for helping us get over the 200,000 fans milestone! Please keep spreading the word to everyone you know - we have some great surprises in store!

Let's hope they are talking about the bonus tracks.

I already want to thank Hybrid Soldier in advance :)

Well, I just love the Inceptions score. "Time" fits the end of the movie so perfect. It's a very good score because it works without the movie (but the movie won't work without this score).

Please speak about the score of Inception (you like it or not , why...). If you can't then don't post. Thank you

And James Newton Howard is more skilled than Hans. His Shyamalan scores destroys every score that Hans did since 2000.

OK, I've said it, now bring wood and oil and finish it.
