That's been standard in certain cases, though considerably less nowadays with how complicated these situations have become.<br><br>Having heard both tracks posted, both give me little on their own. I'm sure they work better in the context of the film, and we might see better tracks unveiled eventually.He deserve better.Hans and Lorne like twins. Lorne has a very good personality. I still don't understand why some people are still writing bad comments to Lorne?Probably... lolSo is this how itís gonna be? Official release for Richter and leaks by Balfe :(Lorne posted a track from Ad Astra on his YouTube channel
Thank you. And i suppose "Need You Busting My Balls - End Credits" title would correspond to ASCAP "Need You Busting My Balls" + "RUSH END CREDITS", while "Just Married" to "RUSH MAIN ON END"?Thatís literally the best part of the score though. But itís typical Richter (Miss Sloane, Black Mirror: Nosedive).Hunt Drunken Weirdness is barely a cue actually, it's just a patch up of sound designs by Mel...<br><br>Italian Party is a name I made up for a cue that's not used in the movie ! :)In ASCAP there is a cue "HUNT DRUNKEN WEIRDNESS" - is this by a chance an alias to "Italian Party", which is absent in ASCAP. Same situation like with TDK. Hans and James didn't knew how exactly scene will look like. The just knew that they need to write music for e. g chase scene. It's an interesting way of composing. Completely opposite to mickey-mousing.

Sounds great, influences from Dark Knight and DVC, and even the kickass trailer music is there. Very good.

Could you post something that Hans say in the interview?! I'm Italian and I can't understand very well...thanks! :(

@Enrico:

Well Hans didn't get to see the images. He had to compose based on the script so Hans had his own 'dreamworld' (just like in the movie). Afterwards the music he wrote magically fitted with the images of the movie and even Hans was suprised about this.

They also did something very cool with a song of edith piaf (a famous french singer). Hans remixed it and put some score over and through it. This songs plays during the climax of the movie. I really wonder if this song is gonna be on the score though cause they will probably have to pay license fees to include this song.

Hearing the samples I'm not uber enthousiastic anymore. Seems every track sounds almost the same. Plus the baselines from the dark knight seem to be re-used

"Time" sounds fantastic...but the entire CD seems really good!!!

528491 sounds awesome - that string figure that was in the trailer leading into a big "Inception BOING"

Anonymous reply Replies: 0 || 2010-06-30 00:00:00
Yeah I like what I'm hearing. Seems like a fairly straight-forward Zimmer big-orchestra action score, which we haven't had for a while.. Probably not very melody driven but not as experimental as Dark Knight either. Some tracks sound like gems. Dream is Collapsing seems to be the track on the website, which i love, great chords. Then it's a blownup version of the same chords in Waiting for a Train which sounds completely epic - at 9:30 it's probably the trademark "big zimmer climax cue". I'm pleased, because I was afraid it would be very mel wesson, a lot of ambient electronics, but it sounds pretty orchestral and good.

Can't wait!!
